My partner and I procured a Shiba Inu puppy from Trish at Sheer Heaven last month and we could not be happier! ☺️We brought the puppy to our local vet, and she commented that the puppy is extremely healthy, both physically and psychologically. The puppy is also extremely handsome; all of his features are sharp and pronounced. All of the above tells me that Trish breeds and raises her dogs with considerable care and significant attention.Additionally, Trish was extremely responsive both before and *after* we got our puppy. After we got the puppy, we’d text her questions about the puppy’s behavior and she’s promptly respond with solutions. She makes no money helping us; she clearly simply loves her former puppies and wants them to be raised with care and affection.I don’t know what to make of the other reviews that give Trish such negative ratings. My guess is that these are people who are offended by Trish’s brashness. Yes, she doesn’t mince words and may be a colorful character, but that’s what you want from a breeder! Somebody who doesn’t sugarcoat, as well as does what needs to be done. I went to school in New York, so I value her business-like manner. In any event, the proof is in the pudding: the puppies she breeds and sells are incredibly healthy and well-bred. Who cares if she might say some-off color comments!One day we will get a second Shiba Inu puppy, and there is no question in our mind that we will be going to Trish. Thank you, Trish! We are eternally grateful to you!

I am very grateful that my cat was able to get in on such a short notice but I did not have a good experience. She took over 3 hours to groom my cat which make me 30 minutes late to work. I was originally told it would be $65 and it ended up being $80. She cut my cat's tail fur for no reason and she did an awful job. She also cut a skin tag on my cat's stomach which bled. She was very unprofessional and called my cat fat multiple times. We will not be coming back. Here is a before and after picture of her tail.

We talked on the phone and it seemed great, I gave a $400 deposit. Made arrangements, drove from out of state and got a hotel, then went to pick up our Shiba Inu Puppy we were buying and she said she needed 20 minutes to give him a bath, then we come back and I'm aggressively asked about having a permit for my open carried firearm ( I am licensed to conceal in multiple states )She got triggered when going over paperwork with me and me asking her about her Breeding Permit, and she then refused to sell me the puppy and threatened to call police if I didn't leave.Place was sketchy.She was sketchy.DO YOUR RESEARCH

I got my dog groomed here and the experience was horrible!! DO NOT GO HERE. She was late to her own appointment because she went out to get coffee. She didn’t finish within the time window she estimated and never bothered to call and let me know it would take longer. And the worse part is that she cut my dog’s nails too short on TWO paws and she bled the entire way home. These things happen but she is supposed to be the professional. And she had the audacity to still charge full price and wouldn’t hand over my dog until I did so.

We have taken all our dogs to Sheer Haven for grooming and training over the years and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend. Also bought our Labradoodle from her and he is amazingly PERFECT!

I have known Trish for 15 years and have always been satisfied with her grooming my did and cats. She trained our dog and us at her beautiful kennel in blairsville. Believe me! It took alot of patience! We recommend her highly for grooming, training and boarding.

I have boarded our beagle border collie here for many years.Trish ,the owner ,is very knowledgeable about pets,and so accommodating,takes us at last minute for boarding where most places want a long advance, appointment time frame. Trish is busy ,but does a really nice time job at handling and grooming the pets and goes out of her way at being available to customers. Her prices are very reasonable for this area ,location .Thanks Trish , for all your hard work , you are appreciated.

Took my dogs here to get their nails trimmed and left completely unsatisfied its. Its run by Trish and her two children. When I arrived I stood in the corner by the door (as she told me) and waited about 15 minutes while she conversed with another client. The shelves were covered with dust and some of the products that are for sale were already opened. When it came to the trimming her daughter was the one who asked of my dogs were good/bad. I had explained to her that they had never had them done and would probably freak out. In my opinion it's very unprofessional to have children relay such important information. They took the first one back and she was yelling at her kids the whole time (therefore not paying attention to what she was doing) the second one goes back and again through the door I heard her yelling and talking badly about me and my dogs. After she was done she proceeds to tell me that my dogs are animals. (Which if she's as good as she say/thinks she would have been able to handle them) my dogs nail was cut and bleeding all over the place. She was very rough in cleaning and capping it. Her comment on this was "he is far from killed" she also charged me $10 extra because of the hassle they gave her. I will never go back to this place and neither should you. Horrible horrible horrible..

I am horrified that Sheer Heaven is still in business. Several years ago I took the owner (Trish) to court over the mistreatment of my dog and WON my case. I had over $2,000 in vet bills following my pets boarding from malnourishment and bacterial infections from being in dirty quarters. I have yet to see a single cent court ordered to be refunded to me, and this woman is still operating as if she is a legitament business. PET LOVERS BEWAREUPDATE:Interesting that after all these years (8 not 20 as the owner has exaggerated) Trish FINALLY responded. It is no surprise the owner is being dishonest. I am not a fake reviewer, I did take Sheer Heaven to court, I did win my case and welcome anyone to research the records to fact check that. After all this time there is still no accountability nor an ounce of remorse. Shame on you Trish.

So I have a really shy dog that I can't take anywhere but someone told me to try shearheaven. So the owner Trish was to take my dog give her a good bath with no problems and she is able to take my dog to stay at the kennels as well. She always is neat and clean and very personable with my pet. Thank you so much Trish your the only place I will ever go.

Exceptional groomer and incredible trainer. Our rescue dog was terrified of people, would not respond to any type of training approaches and could not even begin house training. Could not be petted, walked, or even take a treat; she would only cower or be elusive. We were considering options of how to return her which broke our hearts. After she spent time training with Trish, we have a dog that remembers what it is to be a dog. Playful, can walk on leash, house trained, responsive and loving. Amazing dog whisperer!

They were very accommodating. I had to cancel several times due to car problems. When I dropped of my dog (husky) it was a different experience. Right away I was told my dog looked aweful and needed groomed. He is in the process of blowing his coat. Also found it rude that she kept saying my dog was skinny and asked if he had worms. He is rescue that I’ve had for 3 months. And has been to the vet twice since I’ve had him. And I am currently working on getting him to gain weight. He has been dewormed. Asked if he had fleas I said no he’s on simpatico a pill form for fleas. Proceeded to comb him in front of me. I understand checking for fleas but not aggressively. We I called I told them he has separation anxiety. They said it would t be a problem. When I arrive I told her that he is on medication. She said he would need it because he would get to run. I told her that he needs it! It’s been prescribed by a vet. I am giving to him to help him. The medication was not giving to him during his stay. That kinda for medication takes time to work up in their system. So I have to start all over! I felt like the worker was a know it all and talked to me like I didn’t know anything. Very upsetting. I have 2 other huskies, I mush all 3, am involved in a husky rescue, and have a zoology degree. I have a pretty good idea about huskies!

This place disgusted me. The lady owner there ignored my presence for 10 minutes. Had another customer come in after me and conversed with him for another 5 before acknowledging me. Before this, I heard my dog crying in the back with her as she said "oh it's not going to kill you". As I get him home, there's blood all over the seat of my car from his nail. Not to mention his hair cut is so choppy and she tried to tell me she left a specific part longer because his hair had a "nice color." That part is SHORTER than the rest of his body. She was just trying to make sure I didn't notice what she screwed up! The place is also dusty/dirty and smells terrible even for a pet place. I see her trying to defend herself on other people's bad reviews they give her but they're all so true. I'd give this place negative stars if I could.

I LOVE this place. I have boarded my dogs there many times and would board them there again. My dogs are always so clean and nicely groomed when I get them back. They always act fine when they return home, never seeming strange or shaken up or anything. They may have a scratch or two, but they are big, high energy dogs so that can happen at home. They love to go and run on the large piece of property. I never worry about my dogs when o send them here and would recommend them.

Bordered my dog for one weekend and she got sick one day after coming home.One time I came to pickup my pitt and she bruised my chest tackling me to the ground. I thought she was just terrified of the grooming process.Later I took her to a different groomer, she was terrified to go in, however she loved it and is actually excited to go there now.Something is wrong at sheer heaven

Trish, the owner does a great job grooming my cats. Not all pet groomers can handle difficult cats; she can. She is very knowledgeable and gives helpful, commonsense tips on caring for your pets

Every dog and cat that I’ve seen come out of sheer Heaven look beautiful Trish is actually a very good groomer. The little Yorkey mix Cooper looked beautiful when he came out also. Sarah Connley didn’t even know how she wanted the dog to be cut and she complained about the last place that she had gone. I think Trish did a beautiful job on Cooper. Sara didn’t have a clue what her dog should look like. Was this a setup?

I had a horrible experience using Sheer Heaven. My dog was extremely neglected to the point of which I had over $300 worth of vet bills to get him back to a healthy condition. My pet was boarded for 4 days, and came home to me with sores all over his body, 10lbs underweight and sharp pieces of rawhide stuck in his paws.I even had to go as far as litigation's over this matter.The JUDGE FOUND SHEER HEAVEN GUILTY OF NEGLECT and ordered Trish the owner/operator to refund all of my money; I have yet to see a dime and this was well over a year ago.Since this awful experience, I use Walkers Pet Hotail, and they are absolutely wonderful.

A friend & I were out to eat & when we walked to my car we saw their van sitting outside of the restaurant at almost 9pm. I got in my car & heard a dog yelping & crying. I looked in the van window & saw a small dog in a cage, looked scared to death. I would never take my animals here just because of what I saw. You & your family go out to eat & leave a poor dog in a cage in your van when it's 30 degrees outside. I went inside the restaurant to let the staff know. Very lucky I didn't call the police. In my opinion, this place needs shut down from all the bad reviews I'm reading & the experience I had tonight. Very unprofessional.

please do not use this place, she should be shut down, and she has a new kitty hotel run apparently by her son who is very mean to the cats. they did not know i saw but her son kicked a cat. i waited at the lobby to make a appointment for 15 minutes and i said something when they finally came and she trish was very rude. i have talked to many people who have had bad experiences with this place. i will never go back and i advise you not to even try it, needless to say i left without an appointment.

I would not go back. My dog was shaken up after a weekend stay, and I felt she was very unprofessional - swearing in front of my young son and making me very uncomfortable. She even argued with me about the brand of dog food I fed (name brand and healthy, not junk!). I was pretty shaken up when I left!

After picking up my dog and inspecting him, I found several bite wounds on his legs and butt. Some wound was still bleeding during my inspection. He was bite by some other dog during his stay. Very disappointed.
