I have been a customer here for a long time and recently rescued two cats, which is new for me (always only had dogs). I had a lot of questions and the staff spent so much time helping me figure out what I would need, what would be necessary right away, and what I should come back for once I got to know the cats. They were so knowledgeable about food, litter, toys, everything! My transition to being a cat mom went SO smoothly. Thank you!!!

this is my absolute favorite pet store! they have a nice variety of pet items. their dog/cat section is the biggest, but they do have other pet items as well (bird, hamster, fish, etc). they are very knowledgeable on all their items and actually know what's probably the best option for your pet. i have 3 dogs, so whenever i want to know about a bone, harness, shampoo, treats, etc. they seem to always know what will work best. not like when you go into petsmart or whatever and are basically on your own when you're shopping. i HIGHLY recommend going to Leones over anywhere else to buy your pet supplies!

Very personal care and help. My cat has lots of G.I. problems and needs a special diet.A member of the staff helped find several products to help my cat. He loves the special freez-dried food and it agrees with his digestion. Always a plus with a cat that has digestive issues and is picky with his food.

Never saw this place while on our trips to this area. Had to stop being a cat mom. We got him a wall brush because he's obsessed with being brushed, now he can do it on his own. Took him being showed it wasn't anything to be scared about.... but now, he uses it constantly.Staff was so so so friendly and informative about products!Luke says, "meooow!" which I'm sure is, "thaaank you!"

The store was nice enough my wife and I drive by quite a bit hadn't stopped in years when we went in the store Noone said hello because they were to busy with a customer who was on the phone with a customer asking for samples in different flavors took up 2 clerks to handle her and her phone friend never asked my wife and I if they could help us find anything we have a dog a cat 2 birds and my son has guinea pigs we were there to buy stuff but never got asked, stepping over dollars for nickels saying that may apply here just sayin

This place is amazing. Great selection of high quality dog food. Along with tons of other pet needs like toys and water bowls. It’s just great can’t wait to be back. My pet also loves it’s just as much.

We found all sorts of unique treats and foods for our birds and dogs that we've never found at Petsmart or Petco. Our cockatiels got a few new toys that are super shiny and fun for them to play with.Our dogs seem to enjoy the Kangaroo treats, so that makes me nervous about ever living in Australia, but that's a problem for future me. They have HUGE rawhide-type treats that my dogs devoured happily. We also picked up some venison 🦌, bison , and beaver treats and canned foods, so I'm eager to see how that might go.They have really good, competitive pricing on their products against the big box stores. We aren't usually in that area often, but I'm so glad we stopped by! I think they are my new favorite pet store! 😍

Our dog was having some digestive issues and upon a friend's recommendation we visited Leone's to try and find a new dog food that would be a healthier option. Leone's staff was wonderful with offering their expertise and pointing us in the right direction to a brand of food that has proven to be a great choice for our dog. We have since continued to shop at Leone's and really appreciate the staff, the selection and the affordable prices. This is a great local business and I highly recommend to all pet owners in the North Pittsburgh area that want not just good prices and products but also great service from people that care about your pet!

After spending time providing space to a gentleman wearing a mask and the assistant taking a rather long time checking him out at the register, I was finally able to check out.As soon as you I moved up to check out, the two departed to the parking lot to discuss his dogs leaving me standing alone. Not cool.There was another staff member stocking the shelves which had higher priority than my needs.I have been a regular guest for several years though I don’t expect my needs to take priority over others. I would appreciate them being equal.At best I will think twice if not three times before I return. Very disappointing

If you care about your pet’s health, you’ll only shop with Leone’s. Not only do they have a wide selection of products, the workers always seem to know the best fit for my pup when I talk to them about him. Thanks for keeping me and my pup happy, Leone’s! Nice, clean, and orderly store. Everything is clearly marked; the old fashioned way with stickers on the products so there is no guessing if the product is in the right spot on the shelves matching the UPC. Great selection of items and range of items (for example, lower quality/priced foods up to some of the best quality/higher priced foods).I do understand that there are individual savings programs through the manufacturers, but, I think it would be great for a store savings program where customers can save on most items (loyalty program).The only negative which didn't allow me to rate five stars is they are pricey. They never seem to have sales, coupons, or other incentives to save (or seem to save) customers money. This, I believe, is their only weak point from a customer's perspective. Otherwise, its a wonderful store well worth the visit!

Love love love this place. I took my pitbull in to pick out a toy and they welcomed her with sweetness and treats. The worker noticed her patchy fur and I told him what her issue was and he was so helpful with tips and food we can feed her to help her skin. Amazing experience and will definitely be my go to place for not only my pup but all my furry and scaly family!

Great selection! High quality animal food, treats, toys and much more. The Fromm dog food is actually better priced than Amazon. They also have a rewards program for certain brands of food.Definitely stop in! Staff is friendly.

I have done it all, mail order, big box stores, chain pet stores. I went here looking for Fromm..we had switched to no grain over the summer based on recommendations because our dog ( hound mutt) was scratching. He needed to see his vet for an acute gastroenteritis while there they picked up an enlarged heart, rapid heart beat and a murmur which his did not have 6 months ago. He strongly felt it could be related to the no grain foods with lentils, chickpeas, peas and garbanzo beans. He wanted it stopped immediately and switched to a brown rice or oat base kibble. I presume the owner, certainly the manager not only took back our unopened food but stood there and read every label (of Fromm and a few others) to help me find some alternatives. Because of her ability to educate and take the time to find what would work I give this place 5 stars plus!!!

The guy working was very nice, but the merchandise is super crazy over priced!! I went to dollar general the same day & found the same leash $17 cheaper?! Shampoo $5 cheaper, puppy pads $10 cheaper....& They didnt have Purina One puppy chow?! Wont ever go back!!

The older woman with short gray hair there talked to me in a condescending manner because they did not have the size bag of food I wanted. Then told me she couldn't help me unless i am a part of the rewards program for her to look up previous purchases. I am but I never really go here so it would have been extremely outdated and irrelevant anyways. I also had just explained that my dog had a sever uti and is on special food.. she told me that food doesn't cause utis. I wanted to use a coupon from the manufacturer, they would not accept because I didn't have it printed out. It just seemed like the woman was more interested in arguing than helping me feed my poor dogs. Leaving 2 stars because the other employees are very nice generally. Do not plan on returning unless in dire need.

Nice little pet store on the side of route 22. I've driven by it a hundred times and decided to stop to see what they offered. Not a huge variety available but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

would recommend Leones any day over the franchise pet stores. this is the only pet store that my family will go to and we've been going there for as long as I can remember! they have everything you could need for all your pets not just dogs/cats. plus you end up supporting a small local business at the same time

For a pet store it was mainly dog and cat foods. Nice store very clean and organized. Outside of the dog and cat food there was almost no selection for any other pets. Did not have chilled reptile foods or crickets when I was there.

The workers were on their phones the entire time we were in the store. They barely acknowledge that we were there. We asked for help finding a harness and all they did was point and say they were in the back. We said those aren't the one we were looking for and described the one we were looking for and they just said no we don't have that. My experience was not good and I will not be returning.
