My Aunt recently passed and we needed a place to board her cats and get them up to date on their shots. Borderbrook worked with us and provided kennels at a very reasonable rate. Can't say enough about the staff and they're w willingness to accommodate our needs and they needs of the cats.

Best ferret vet anywhere. Don’t take your ferrets anywhere else. Dr. Heller knows her stuff and is worth every penny she charges. Her wealth of knowledge saved our ferret’s life and he’s doing great today!UPDATE 10/2023: our 5 ferrets all got sick within a week and our oldest, Pugsley, was hit the hardest. I came home to the entire house covered in diarrhea (on the peepads) and pugs was not looking good. Ruth not only got us in within the next day, she also prescribed medicine for all 5 and they’re all doing WAY better after 72 hours. Ruth and her team are angels. Their love for ferrets show, and it makes me wanna cry. I’m so glad I have such a supportive group of doctors and specialists so close by! I know my ferrets are in good hands!

Dr. Heller was AMAZING with my ferret. She was very kind and explained everything to me. She took the time to give me proper nutrition advice that helped me make decisions to get him on a proper diet. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a vet for their ferret.

When you make that phone call to see a vet because you need one now, and your met with matter of fact sorry we can't help you now or later It is disappointing , However I made a call to Borderbrook and spoke with the receptionist who was more than polite and helpful , thankfully on my part that was a cancelation and could see my cat immediately ( it can be be a month or more wait due to shortage) Dr Ruth Heller and staff were very helpful and took the time to explain everything going on with my cat Lola , she has a ear infection , I thought she was dying , Anyway if you need a vet I wouldn't hesitate one bit to visit Dr Heller. You can just tell she loves animals

Took my ferrets for their first vet visit. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the fact that they treated bonnie clyde as members of the family was great. Cant wait for our 2nd visit.

I have now found the most wonderful honest, caring vet & equally amazing staff(Monica & the other lovely lady, didn’t catch her name) around! I love this place. They spent time with me and my dog, Henry (he is fearful) to make sure I was informed and we were all comfortable before receiving services. During services they treated him w such love and made sure I was able to hear him in the room. Dr Heller was thorough on her exam and didn’t try to oversell me like the previous vet at Monroeville vet. My bill was more than reasonable and I will be back w my other pets for dentals and all other medical needs. Thank you Borderbrook, you guys are the very best!!! Oh and (fearful) Henry actually liked you all too! Highly recommend!

My daughter and I went for the first time this week and did not have the best experience. We were only there to have our guinea pigs nails clipped so it wasn’t a big deal. But still I won’t go back. If you go, make sure you wear a mask (even if you are vaccinated) and do not take any children. Be sure to stay within in the space allowed and do not cross the line. That’s all I will say about that!

She is the only vet in area that would see our sick ferret. She was very kind and her treatment brought ferret back to health. She did a follow up phone call to see how ferret doing. I would highly recommend especially if you own a ferret

I scheduled my ferret to have a small mast cell tumor removed with Dr. Heller after she told me (after a 5 minute evaluation) that this was indeed what he had. She quoted to me $300-$500 ("we can't tell you how much, it's based on time") just for the surgery, $120 for bloodwork, after the $44 initial visit. I went in to drop off my best friend, in tears and very worried, and the staff did very, very little to calm me down or make me feel better. This price is severely inflated from the $125 quote that Dr. Wagner gave me, and in the end I cancelled my appointment with Dr. Heller, as I felt severely ripped off and lied to.

The ladies there are absolutely amazing!!! Took my red nose pitbull there and they had absolutely no issues with her at all. It's very nice to take her somewhere and she isn't treated like a monster.These ladies are now my primary vet services!!! Hands down.

Had a emergency with my poor cruzer bunny today. Unfortunately the outcome wasn't what my wife and I wanted... But, I cannot say enough good things about the care and empathy the team at borderbrook animal hospital. They are the only facility that was willing in the greater PA area to help when it wasn't convenient. Moving around there busy schedule to assure he would be able to be seen. My wife and I are so greaful for you all.

When my daughter and I got there we were instructed to stay in the car and they would call us. A client walked out and we waited 20 min and never got a call. We then proceeded to go in and got yelled at because we weren’t behind the line. We were then told only one of us were allowed in there and even though it was my daughters bunny she was not allowed to answer questions!!! I didn’t even get to go in and see the dr. She did come out but we had a lot to tell her and we were very rushed out of there. This place was filthy and the lady behind the desk was rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere!

The most awful visit we have ever had, 408$ no blood work, no explanation of what the urine or fecal was.Said they weren’t sure, maybe bladder, take this med (241$)come back in two weeks for sonagram and exray . So unprofessional!

I have been taking my pets to Borderbrook since the mid 1980's. Three dogs and at least 10 cats have been treated at Borderbrook, many for their entire lives. The care is first rate.
