SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR BAKERY! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!I purchased for Christmas an apple pie, after supper we cut into the pie all ready to moan over the delicious treat only to find the bottom crust was raw. After baking at 350 degrees for 45 minutes we were able to have our dessert. It was OK but for the price of about $13.00 I was very disappointed the pie wasn't cooked or at least marked that you had to bake it.Gave their bakery a second chance with their Salted Caramel Apple Cake Roll this past Saturday. It was terrible!! With any cake roll you expect the filling to be a base of cream cheese. In the case of Salted Caramel Apple Cake Roll, I expected cream cheese filling to be flavored with Caramel and salt sprinkled throughout and maybe diced apples in the cake. Yeah, none of that happened; instead the filling was a mix of oils like vegetable oil and soybean oil. I'll stick with our Amish market held on Saturdays, $7.95 is to much to waste on subpar bakery.

They have a wide variety of fresh fruits vegetables. They have a large selection of meat and baked goods. I love doing my grocery shopping here

This is a little gem of a store. Good deli selection. They also have Reading and Kutztown soda!!! Also spices and flours for your baking needs. The produce is also very good.

Baked goods are terrible. Always soggy.You have to let baked goods COMPLETELY cool before putting plastic wrap on them.Pasta salads, etc are tasteless.

(In my opinion), This market has to be the most pristine business I have ever seen. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.This is a great place to get fresh fruit and vegetables. Cakes and pies are delicious. Good selection of fresh meat.

The store is very clean and has a great variety of product. That said, I must say the peach pie I bought there was terrible. Little to no actual peaches in the pie it was all filling. Extremely disappointing as other baked products I have bought there have been good.

So grateful I have a place for fresh fruit, veggies and all the groceries every week at fantastic prices. Its clean and the employees are friendly. I can get the majority of my groceries here with the wide variety they have.

They make great subs. The deli is cheaper than the others in the area and the morning is the best for the fresh baked goods like breads, muffins and stuff. Fresh fruit and veggies too! I will be glad when the building out back is done!

We usually stop for great peaches. This year we stopped last Thursday on September 14 and bought 2 baskets of peaches(large) When we got home we discovered they were all rotten. Had to throw them all out. Very disappointed that they would put them out in that condition. I'm sure who ever bought the rest had the same result. Hope they do not due this to someone else in the future

Even though they will be closed until early April 2023 as they will be moving in their new building (same location) they are worth a trip. Their assortment of fruits, vegetables, deli items, grocery items and baked goods rivals grocery stores. Their quality exceeds them though and their customer service is refreshing. I can't wait for them to reopen.

This place had some very good items for my family , one thing I very disliked was the fact me & my mother went to the counter to get lunchmeat & their was 3 young ladies behind the corner . She asked what I wanted I told her she grab my meat to cut & than she went over to one of the other girls whispered in her ear & they turned back & started laughing in my face . Which is very disrespectful & I felt like it was because I was Muslim . So I told her I didn’t want the meat cause if you gonna talk about me in my face I don’t trust you with my food . Unprofessional , discrimination, & disrespectful. Idk if I’ll ever go back

I was thrilled when Wengerd's opened a few years back - very fresh produce of superior quality. Meat and deli prices were incredibly affordable. The dry goods are always exceptional though I would love to see them add coconut flour, almond flour, spelt flour, and other types of flour.The baked goods are made on the premises and are of outstanding quality and prices.WONDERFUL place and I'm always happy when chance takes me down that way!

Could not love this store more! Produce is always beautiful , big, and fresh. Friendly service at the deli counter, great bulk meat sales, bulk candies, nuts, and dry goods, homemade baked goods. I never leave without a Whoopie pie. Fantastic salads and subs for a grab n go lunch.

What a hidden gem! Try the ham spread. It is wonderful. As is the bacon. Great produce. Great cheese spread. We will be back!
