I recently had an outstanding experience at the vet with my nine-month-old Boykin Spaniel for Baer testing. Brittany, the nurse, was attentive, relaying our concerns to Dr. Robuccio. The doctor took the time to listen, and they both allowed us to observe the testing, explaining the process and helped us to interpret the charts. Discovering our dog's deafness in one ear was handled with care. Kudos to Cathy, the receptionist, for her wonderful assistance in forwarding results to our breeder's vet the next day. Exceptional service all around!

The veterinarians and the vet techs truly care about every animal! We found a stray kitten and they gave her their full attention and care! I’m grateful for this practice! I’d been taking my 16-year-old cat to another veterinarian, but she retired and sold the practice. When I got a letter explaining the fee increases, I decided it was time to explore other options, especially because we have a new Boston Terrier puppy. I knew we would be going to the vet more frequently. Based solely off Google reviews and the fact that my puppy’s middle name is Francis, I decided to make the switch.My cat became deathly ill, and they immediately suspected pancreatitis. I credit them for saving my cat’s life. Linda truly has a gift with cats and spent an incredible amount of time brainstorming ways to not only make my cat comfortable, but also to get her to eat again. I got more out of one visit than I did after years elsewhere.The veterinarians, techs and entire staff are friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. My puppy especially likes Isaac, and he always makes sure to come say hi if he’s working while we have an appointment. When the puppy was sick and missed his puppy class graduation because of a visit, Brittany made sure they all sang “Happy Graduation” to him in the back. Mel has a special place in her heart for Bostons and always asks me about ours when I call the office.In short, I am happy my pets are patients and would highly recommend St. Francis Animal Hospital!

UPDATE: Doctor Robuccio has contacted me to apologize for the miscommunication in the situation and refunded us with the injection cost. Definitely will go back now!I recently went here for the first time with my cat who had an ear infection. The staff was welcoming and kind, but I had to wait quite a while for a nurse to come in and give me paperwork. When the Dr and nurse left, they said they were going to try to look at his ears and see if he would adjust to them a little. After they brought the cat back, they informed me that after cleaning his ears, they had given him two shots. They never asked my permission for any shots and I didn’t walk in with the finances for additional treatment. The prices are affordable as far as normal pricing goes, but I ended up paying double what it would have been had they not done the injections.Overall, I may be back here in the future, but I will be very clear to them about asking permission before doing any treatment.

A friend told us about St. Francis Animal Hospital and we can never thank them enough for the heads up. Our experiences dealing with them have been nothing short of fantastic. We've never been to another facility that showed more concern and caring for our pet than does the staff at St. Francis. They bend over backward to make your pet comfortable. To say that they are a class act is an understatement. "Doctor Joe" is great when it comes to administering to your little friend, which puts "Mommy and Daddy" at ease, as well. I would advise anybody that's looking for a veterinarian to definitely give St. Francis a look. I'm sure you'll find them just as amazing as did we.

We had to put our 16 year old dog down and this place went over and above to help us do that with all of the tender mercy that they gave us. They tried, and succeeded in comforting us as we made this emotionally hard decision. I could tell that it was just as hard for them since they love animals also. We now have a better understanding on our dogs condition and on our options.Thanks Dr. Joe!-----------------------------------------------------------------Extremely Disappointing Experience - Lack of Professionalism and CommunicationI recently brought my beloved dog to this vet clinic after discovering a bleeding lump on her. Unfortunately, my entire experience at this clinic was highly disappointing and left me feeling frustrated and anxious about my dog's health.The first red flag was the vet's unprofessional behavior. She seemed disinterested and in a rush to leave, making me feel like just another number rather than someone genuinely concerned about their pet's well-being.After paying for testing to determine the nature of the lump, we were assured that we'd receive the results within 24 hours. However, that promise was not fulfilled. Despite multiple follow-up calls, we were repeatedly told that the vet had the results and would call us back that day to discuss them. Days passed, and we still hadn't heard anything, which only added to our stress and worry.In desperation to get answers, we decided to visit the clinic in person. The vet finally showed up and nonchalantly handed us some paperwork, ONLY mentioning that our dog had mammary cancer. It was disappointing that my partner and I had to actively seek more information that should have been provided proactively by the vet. As professionals, we expected the vet to be forthcoming with crucial details regarding our dog's condition.After my partner inquired further, the vet mentioned that the cancerous lump could be surgically removed and provided a rough cost estimate of $800 to $1500 for the procedure. Those were the last details of the conversation. The information shared was quite limited, and we were left with many unanswered questions that should have been addressed. How serious is the cancer? Can it spread? Are there any potential risks with the surgery? What is the success rate of the procedure? How long do we have left with her? Unfortunately, we were left without any of these essential details.This lack of transparent communication during such a critical time left us feeling uncertain and uneasy about our dog's health. As devoted pet owners, we believe it is the responsibility of the vet to provide detailed information to help us make informed decisions about our pet's well-being.Subsequently, we reached out AGAIN to get more information, with a list of questions. However, once more, the vet rushed through the conversation, offering only brief and unsatisfactory answers. While we were relieved to receive some additional information, it was far from sufficient for such a serious diagnosis.During that talk we then had a discussion with the vet about potential treatment options and how we could support our dog through this difficult time. Despite being assured that we'd receive an email with all the necessary information that same day, we never received anything.It is incredibly disheartening to invest a substantial amount of money into a professional veterinary service only to be met with such carelessness and a lack of compassion. Our pets are not just animals; they are cherished members of our families, and we expect them to receive the utmost care and attention.In conclusion, I cannot recommend this vet clinic based on my experience. The unprofessional behavior, lack of communication, and failure to provide adequate information during a distressing time made this an extremely disappointing and frustrating encounter.

St Francis Animal Hospital has taken wonderful care of our cats Baby, Luna, Holstein and our dog Indiana Jones. Sadly Luna past away last spring. But here Sister Baby is still alive and kicking at 21 years old. And thanks to St Francis she is going strong. We talk all out pets here. And they have always gotten the best care. I trust St Francis to do every thing possible to take care of my pets and I know they love them as much as I do.

I came to this facility for the first time with my dog last week. My dog is a 90lb German Shepherd who is very scared to be at the vet and acts very unruly. He saw Hany Thomas who was absolutely amazing, he was very patient with my dog and was able to give him the injection he needed when his previous vet failed the last three atempts. They did not rush the appointment and took all the time they needed to get the injection done. I knew I was in the right place when my dog actually gave Hany Thomas kisses at the end of the appointment. The owner Dr. Robuccio also made a point to introduce himself and welcome us to his practice which I really appreciated. Overall my experience was amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their fur babies taken care of. I am beyond thankful to find St Francis Animal Hospital!!

Cats hide their sickness sometimes until it's almost too late. My cat Simba became very ill and Saint Francis Animal Hospital saw him right away. They diagnosed him with liver failure, but neither of us are giving up. They've treated me so kindly and even waved some of my fees. When I picked Simba up to bring him home after being on IV fluids they made me feel that they cared about him just like he was their cat. I am hoping Simba can turn things around and I highly recommend St Francis Animal Hospital!

This vet is AMAZING! From the minute you walk in the door the environment is so welcoming and friendly. All of the staff is so kind and the Doctors are very knowledgeable and caring! They took time to get to know me and my dog. They answer all of your questions and make sure you’re comfortable with everything going on.
