After reading some of these reviews, I didn't know whether to stop or just pass by. But, I'm very happy to report that I did stop by and was very impressed. This is a nice convenience store with truck parking in the back.The truck parking area was clean and enough room for about 15 trucks. They have every type of coffee you could ever want and so many snacks!The store was clean as well as the ladies restrooms. They also have food cooked to order. Not bad at all!

A small truck stop with a kerosene pump for those who need it. A safe place to sleep at that has bathrooms and coffee available 24hrs a day. Nobody bothered us all night and no charge for parking was asked for. Hot, delicious and freshly made breakfast options are available from their deli.

I've been coming to this location pretty much since they first opened up. I've had plenty of meals here. I've had a lot of good memories here. I've never really been disappointed when I've stopped in. The food is always put together well, and it's always done fast.My favorite Rutter's location.

Please fix truck air pump it hasnt been working for a while* ...Rutters as a company is great I'm glad they have made many truck stops through out Pennsylvania there fuel is a expensive but the food is great especially for a gas station and the truck parking is very much appreciated being that it can be hard to find I also like the air pumps you can set it to the psi you want and look away until it beeps u like Quick Trip in the south where you have no idea how much air is in your tire anyways keep up the good work rutters and keep expanding I seen one in WV made me feel good

The good: decent made to order food variety and it usually comes out hot.The bad: the wait for food and the cleanliness is going downhill fast. Fingerprints, dust and dirt all over the doors, sandwich cooler, touch screens, etc. Also, I wish this location had a touch screen soda fountain like the other new stores. Give the place a thorough regular cleaning and this gets 4 stars.

Great service here, clean restrooms and spacious lot to park trucks. 14 (legal) spots. Check out the route 30 burger! It is great!!!

If you can teach your cashiers to be friendly that would be good. To night at around 22-10 pm i have seen two cashiers one elderly blond lady another one young girl with eye glasses on her. So you dear management can figure fast who they were. Who turned away their faces when they see customer in the line. Cause usually cashiers should say next in the line. No ? And that girl with eye glasses on her left at 22-15 pm .Apparently her shift was over. So wanna make sure that you wont come up with excuses that you didn’t find them.

Rutter's — it will never be a Sheetz or a Wawa, but that doesn't mean that they won't try!I've had better food at other locations, but they do have the Wok items on the menu, so you can get your gas station Chinese food fix any time of day! I'm a big fan of Rutter's chocolate milk — chocolate milk in general, really — and consider myself something of an aficionado. Their regular and peanut butter chocolate milks are fantastic!I don't drink, but they do have some selection of beer & wine, if that's your thing. I also saw alcoholic slushies advertised (and to-go, at that) which seem like a dubious proposition for a place most people drive to and from, but that's just my opinion.Their gas rewards program certainly shines. I commute with electricity, but all the same, I seem to gas discounts fairly quickly. Also, and this is more of a critique of Rutter's as a whole, their technology department is basically non-existent. You would think they have a modern menu on their ordering screens, or an app; they don't have either, and the whole thing seems unpolished and drab, and they could definitely improve their image by rising to the level of quality available from their direct competitors.Overall, you can get your gas and find something to eat, but unless you're running on fumes and aren't hungry, I'd suggest trying to find a Sheetz.

Service here went downhill fast. Don't bother ordering food here unless you plan of going through your order and unwrapping everything before you leave. Last several times I got food here I got home to discover that key add on items I paid extra for were left off sandwiches or burgers, dipping sauces missing etc. Price of food went up and quality and service went down, nothing like paying $19 for a burger and 2 sides only to discover that $4-5 of add on extras are missing.3/4's of employees are so worthless that they don't even deserve minimum wage.

If I could leave zero stars I would! I was traveling and so excited to make my rutters stop since there are none in my home state. I ordered a cheese fry wrap grilled with shredded cheese and ranch. Let me tell you what I got. I got a warmed tortilla with fries inside and the cheese just thrown on top NOT MELTED. I got no ranch and with every bite I hoped there would be some. Even my old roommate who disliked me made me better cheese fry wraps when she was an employee. Do better.

Stopped in at 2 am to get a coffee. Found 4 different flavors totally out. Asked Brian if he could make some more. He looked straight at me and then turned his back to me. I know he heard me because the nice lady at the other end of the food prep area told him 3 times that I was there and he still ignored me. Went to the super sweet lady at the register and asked her and she also told Brian. He still didn't respond. Before I go on let me state that he was doing nothing this whole time. Now the lady in the food prep area again tells Brian to make coffee. Now comes the attitude and extreme rudeness. He doesn't speak, he doesn't apologize he just grabbed the coffee urn and went and made the coffee. By now I've been here 15 minutes just for a cup of coffee. In this amount of time 2 other people came in and left because there was no coffee. The lady behind the register had to go and retrieve the coffee and bring it out. I was the there a total of 21 minutes for just a cup of coffee. The action of this individual is totally unacceptable. He's in the wrong line of work if this is how he treats customers. He needs to be reprimanded. I can choose to go anywhere. I come to Rutters because of the service and professionalism of the employees. I dont know if I will ever come back to this location.

Very decent Rutters. Large enough parking lot for semis and trucks with trailers. Usually a looong(10+ minutes) wait on food but they have a smaller kitchen than most truck stops so that is understandable. Food and customer service is usually good.

I'm struggling not to be offended by the employee who only came into the bathroom to talk on the phone with her man.. I came into the restroom to do business, nasty #2 business, (nature called violently people). Not listen to this employee talk to her boyfriend on speaker phone in the next stall while I'm dropping dueces. The last thing I want to hear while using the bathroom and stinking it up. I shouldn't hear a man's voice clear as day in the stall next to me being that I am in the women's rest room. I really thought the man was physically in there with her till she finally stopped playing the wait out game and left the stall.

For the most part I'm satisfied with this location. Beer is cheap but smokes are higher than sheets. Gas is always the cheapest around and the people behind the counter or always fun. The problem that I have is usually with the staff making the food. My order is correct about 50% of the time but I work in food service so I don't complain. Now on the other hand there are certain employees around eight 9 that I've seen working back in the food section that need to keep their obnoxiousness to themselves. Look when I go out to a bar with my friends and I've had a few beers can I get kind of obnoxious yeah it happens. But when at work you need to keep that in check and certain of their employees need to learn that.

Ladies and gentlemen I've here in this truck stop called Rutter's #23 and I think when it comes to food I found heaven lol I've been living of of their ciabatta bread breakfast and hamburger sandwiches for the past 21/2 days and I'm letting you know they are great tasting sandwiches make it your way is BEST you add whatever toppings, sides, drinks ect. It's not that cheap but well worth the money I've never left a review for any place before so take this review as you want I'm giving them a 5*

First and last time going was last night . Staff had attitudes when asked to make fresh French fries after our had fallen onto the counter and sat there for 5 minutes before the woman realized they didn't fall into the tray like they was supposed to . They completely stopped working on our order after this incident. The hotdog was like biting rubber and red inside. When asked for the managers number I was told they couldn't give it to me . Only good thing is we did get our money back.

Let’s start with the fact that if I was the any level of management for this store I would be embarrassed. There was zero supervision, all 5 people in the store were waiting for food while 1 guy worked behind the food counter. Now to the rest of the staff, 1 stocking coolers that were not diminished to the point that they needed immediate stocking, 1 behind the counter as no one was being rang out, one walking around emptying trash cans that were less than 1/8 of the way filled, and last but not least one aimlessly wondering seeming to be engaged in anything shiny. I love Rutter’s, honestly I believe why go any where else. But if this is the quality of product that they are going to allow, you better believe I’ll be going other places.

I'd like to give this place better reviews because I've had better experiences when other employees were working there. This evening I went and waited literally 20 minutes for my food without an apology of any kind. When I went home to enjoy it my fries were freezing and I had to go back to get the sauce I originally ordered. While leaving the employee behind the food counter made a smart remark about how weird it was that I asked for just sauce when the only reason being is because it was forgotten with my order. Of course my food was cold by the time I got back to it. Ugh I'll be going back but won't be ordering food depending on whose working. Also witnessed a woman wiping her sweaty face with a napkin and then proceeded to put on gloves and prepare the food. Went in the back several times with those gloves on touching boxes etc then proceeded to make my boyfriend's sandwich. I'll go back but never ordering food again!!

Best gas station I've been to. They have absolutely everything here. Amazing food selection, every additive for a coffee possible with so many choices! Friendly staff to go along with it too. Why go anywhere else?

Went in to get food tonight. Ordered mozz sticks, corn nuggets, a slider and a wrap that was supposed to be toasted. Waited for awhile until we realized our bag of food was sitting there. No number was called so we had no idea it was ours. Not sure if that's normal for Rutter's. Got back to our hotel room which was literally a 4 minute drive and EVERYTHING was cold. Good thing we have a microwave I guess.

Customer service lacks. Called five times, talked to an employee and every single time they hung up on me. If they don't like the job then they should go learn a skill or trade and obtain a job that improves their attitude.
