Not much to say in that it's very clean, the associates are friendly and helpful, and the prices are excellent for mid/lower incomes. Slight-gripe is sometimes the shelves are bare but most times it's due to overworked staff with no time to restock (they let one person operate the store on some days of the week). The cashiers will easily look for the item though for you and apologize until they are out of breath. They have waaaaay more patience than I do.

Considering the workload these stores put on their employees, this store and its staff are amazing.Our Mom worked for thus company and they'd run her into the ground for low pay.So try to keep the crazy amounts of work the employees have to do in a day b4 you get all judgy over something little when the employees are doing the work of several people 😉

6/20/2019 Edit: the last time I went to the store it was actually clean and neat. Increased from 3 to 4 stars.The prices are great but the store is always messy. It's also almost impossible to move through there when they get their deliveries in. I honestly think they would do better if they stocked shelves after closing and if they straightened up the mess in there.Despite the mess and the boxes being in the way it's still one of my favorite stores.

The store was a little cluttered but I got a few things at great prices. I like that they have a small refrigerated section. Great place to stop in after work if you don't need a large food order.

I do not like this Dollar General location at all. Messy, unorganized, and there is bugs flying around. Items in the store are all over, and things from one department are laying in another one. Not a fan of this location. For being in Mountain Top, you would think it would be way more clean. But, unfortunately its not the best store location. Some of the inner city locations are cleaner.

As a DG fan, this one didn't live up to expectations. The toys are all over not in one area or two rows next to each other they are in 3 separate rows so I couldn't even find what they had until I went to the opposite end of the store near hardware and found them up above the shelves where I couldn't reach. There's also no hair supplies for other ethnicities like olive oil shampoo or conditioner or any coconut oil. The staff is super friendly though and will continue to shop here

We go to the Dollar General at least 4-5 x per week! It has affordable sizes of traditional favorites, plus seasonal items and treats that are not found anywhere else. Cards, wrapping paper, and even a t-shirt or socks are cheap and easy to grab!

Aisles are so full of stock don't even bother getting a cart it won't fit, not staffed enough, always a huge line with one register open. There's never ever anyone in the front end of the store to ring you out. I stood behind a worker on the clock for 15min while she bought a huge cart full of discounted goods and had other workers running to the back for more while there was a line..bragging about how she's shopping and getting paid for it (her name was Beth) .. I've walked out of this store more times than I can count.. very dirty and unorganized. Total lack of professionalism and management. Also good luck finding someone who actually speaks English and understands what you're saying.

They always have what I go for. I was really thrilled when I was looking at the cards to find a Birthday card for a Great Grandson. That is the first one I have ever seen. I couldn't find a Baptismal card anyplace for Great Grandson. Maybe the store could look into that also

Great place to shop! Unfortunately I was unable to navigate the web page in order to apply for a job! The manager at the dollar general nearest me gave me a paper with instructions to apply. Only issue is finding the button that says "apply here" .. Also the "Auto Req ID" slot is unable to find any of the matches I have received from the manager at the store on this "instructions" paper !!! Very upsetting and frustrating!

Store is a complete mess now!! The store was really nice when it first opened. There is someone new running it now and there is always stuff all over the floor and in the isles. Very disappointed in this store that I used to shop often. I will not longer be going there. I was there today 4/22/17. Walked out without buying anything.

Drove to MT. Top because the item I was looking for was"in stock" there, according to their website. However, it was a waste of time. When I looked for the particular solar lights, there were NONE. So, My search continues. At least, Drums store had one.

Most of the time I go in there, boxes of stock are everywhere and new stock isn't even out yet. That's largely because there isn't enough staff. There is usually one person working, trying to run it all. I usually avoid this one and use a dollar general downtown.

I frequent this store often they have everything from snacks, milk, some frozen items, bottled water, drink mixes, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, car supplies and stationery.

I like it here. I don't usually buy dairy items but if you are looking for good snacks, party stuff and other items dollar general Is the place to go.
