This particular giant is huge! Very nice and the staff was really friendly. Well stocked overall and had a decent amount of cashiers on to keep the lines moving.

I have been followed and watched at this store multiple times. Never stole a thing in my life.Today I had a cashier stand at the bottom of the self checkout like she was going to bag for me but instead stood at the bottom with her arms crossed staring me downs. I made it obvious I knew what she was doing and became increasingly irritated because I was blatantly being discriminated against and watched like I was some kind of criminal. I’m mad I let this person get the better of me, and I’m even more irritated that grocery stores hire people with such ignorance.

This is a very spacious, clean and well organized store. Our cashier was very kind and helpful. We love this location and would definitely visit again. Our favorite display was the convenient display of the taco display. The meat, taco shells and seasoning all in one place. Now that is a great meal plan and convenient because sometimes we just want to grab and go. Love it!

I wish their food and produce was as fresh as they claim, but lately most of the items we get from the butcher have been spoiled or spoil within a day or two. Extremely disappointing when you open a pack of ribs on Christmas, bought the day before, only to find that they're already spoiled.

As it's our local store, we visit the Mt Joy Giant regularly for our grocery needs. The folks working there are always friendly and nice and the butcher/seafood team is super helpful. The only issues we run into are they are usually low in stock on a lot of things compared to other local Giants we visit and have to watch the fresh produce; we've made some purchases that weren't the freshest and didn't realize it until we got home.

I try to avoid getting groceries at this store becuase the shelves are usually a mess and stocking shelves not kept up. They rarely have many cashiers working and the self checkout is a disaster if you have a cart full. When there it frequently seems like more employees are doing the online shopping orders and there is rarely employees stocking. Plus Marty the robot gets in the way.

Where do I begin. First, the place is filthy. The floors and shelves need a desperate cleaning. I see employees standing around on their phones, not paying attention to anything. The place has a management problem, obviously.

Giant in Mount Joy supplied my 13 year old his birthday cake for his birthday. It was beautifully decorated. It was a wonderfully moist cake I highly recommend their cake department.

With prices continually going up we often look for deals. Well we found some Bayer Back & Body pain reliever for $ 2.07 & thought that was a great deal. Not so much when I opened it & realized the bottle was open, seal was broken & pills were missing. Needless to say we did not want to take medicine that had been tampered with so I threw it away. It would have cost more in gas money to drive back & return them plus I threw away the receipt. I would like management to know about this though because you really shouldn’t tape up a box of medicine that’s been opened & put it back on your shelves just to try and make a couple more bucks. That’s just not right.

Almost all self check out lanes. Take me back to the days you didn't have to bag your own groceries. I don't see an employee discount on my bill either. 😕The handicap parking has been moved away from the store to allow for pregnant women and electric car charging! No value for elderly or handicap!

The Manager Jody Is so unprofessional. She hung the phone up on me while I was in the middle of explaining a problem to her. She didn't help resolve my problem nor did she explain how to get a refund on flashfood. Jody should not be in a manager position. I am disappointed in her actions.

Be aware of their discounted meat. We got turkey and used it by the sell by date but both my husband and I got sick to the point that we didn't eat for 2 days and were vomiting. Last week, I bought a marked down pork shoulder and immediately put in my freezer. I went to use it today and as soon as I opened it, my entire house smelled of bad pork shoulder. Both meats were bought as discounted meat but were used or frozen by the use by date. Seems to be a theme with this store if you read reviews. Already talked to customer service and satisfied with her response, even though I'm never buying meat there again. UPDATE: CS SAID THEY WERE REIMBURSING ME VIA GIFT CARD WHICH NEVER ARRIVED.

Set aside twice as much time as you normally need to shop here. Even with lines growing they will refuse to open another checkout line, leaving you no choice but to use the frustrating self checkout that even the workers can't figure out half the time. There's plenty ofother options for shopping in western Lancaster county. Don't let corporate greed win.
