Excellent selection for a small store. They also will order anything they don’t carry if you are willing to wait a week or so and if their suppliers have it available. They have really good prices on bird seed as well. I’m grateful to have this store nearby for all our farm & pet supplies.

I never have any issues there. Very nice people own the place. I have been going there 30 maybe years. They have everything you could think of for raising kittens,puppies,horses,cows. All kinds of feed an seed. They have all kinds of bird feeders right now at 25% off. Deer feed an supplies.

This is the best place to get bird seed and dog supplies. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. They even will carry your heavy purchases out to your car.

Nissley's is the place that taught me to love the Lowes right around the corner. I was trying to be loyal to the community, etc., when Lowes came in - shortly after I moved into the Morgantown area myself. But after repeated surly, short-tempered service at Nissley's, particularly by the younger male who I think is the son taking over the business - I got tired of it. As a friend of mine said when I asked her what she thought of Nissleys: "I always feel like I'm a bother to them." Well, me too!At Lowes they greet me with a smile, and do great customer service. Obviously, there's the huge range of merchandise. And Nissley's has such limited hours on weekends, and no evenings. For those of us who work standard corporate jobs during the regular Monday through Friday business work week, that's a huge liability. So I kissed off "loyalty to the local merchant," and I shop at Lowes now.The only circumstances under which I can see one shopping at Nissley's would be if you want strictly agricultural stuff like chicken feeders, horse supplies, and don't want to do the drive to a place like Tractor Supply.
