Ordered a box for Crystalis for NES. Came today and looks decent. Every time I order from them the condition is always great. My only complaint is the prices can be a little high for certain things. It’s expected with Game Consoles since they probably cost a lot to ship. The box was maybe $5-$10 more than I wanted to pay but that’s barely a complaint. They are great and trust worthy. You may see some YouTube videos giving them grief over some things but don’t believe some of it. I saw reviewtechusa complain over a some white residue. Which if Reviewtech USA knew better they’d know when rubbing alcohol drys it looks like that. Instead he went on about how they don’t clean stuff. They definitely clean stuff. They are a great company I think. I work at Old Skool games and more in Virginia so I deal with this stuff a lot. DK Oldies is great. If you want your stuff to look nice. Order from them. You may pay a bit more but they put the time and energy to make sure you get a great product.

I've bought multiple games from DK. I included a few of them in the pictures but there were more. Every one of them arrived quickly and well packaged. They all were as ordered and in great condition. I have also sold many items to DK at very reasonable prices. Much better offers than any of my local retro stores by far. Nothing but great things to say from my personal experiences other than none of my orders were filmed lol.

now i haven bought from here yet. but all i could say is that these people are really nice people. i looked on there web page and they have better prices then other companies do for retro consoles. now i honestly don't think they are a scam. the complaints might be just from people ordering a lot of stuff they cant keep track. but again like they say "we are all human". which i aggree with. they are somewhat a small business known global and all. but either way, again these are nice people trying there best. so lets just wait to see it go crazy large.

I buy from the website (since I can't visit in person) all of the time when I have the money for it. Slowly, I've been purchasing the remaining physical copies of Pokemon games I couldn't get before to build up my collection, as I've gotten hold of some copies over the years. I aim on buying the remaining three left I need to make the collection whole, those being Pokemon Red, Blue, and Crystal. And then I'll have physical copies of the main games all together! But yes, this business is definitely my favorite for games. I haven't bought too many consoles yet, but I plan to buy the ones I want later on down the line. The couple or few I did manage to get worked just fine. This was a GameCube console and one of the DS models, both of which worked perfectly fine and still do. The GameCube was especially surprising, since I bought one in Acceptable condition and I didn't really notice any imperfections when I initially opened the box to check it!So far, the only game I ever bought from them that couldn't start correctly was Pokemon Gold, which was a recent purchase. It took a lot of turning off and on with the GameBoy Color handheld I had, but I finally managed to get it to start correctly and start a save file. But then again, it is a retro game with one of those watch batteries inside, plus it is still old, so it's to be expected I think. I've always adored the Pokemon games and wish to have a complete collection of the current series of main games in the whole brand. I also have this copy of Pokemon Yellow that I sent in for repairs and they managed to fix it up perfectly, even cleaning up the cartridge's outside due to a bit of grime I couldn't remove before. To clarify, I tried to pry the battery inside out and broke one of the tongs that keep it in place from moving around inside the cartridge, so when I finally got the chance to send it in for repairs, it was very affordable and they sent it back as if it was brand new.I've even sent in items in exchange for online credit and chatting with the people in both the repair and exchange sections was of no issue to me. They were all very polite and understanding in the email chats. I honestly don't know why this shop is so degraded on social media by people on tiktok or whatever, it baffles me. It's true, some retro items seem crazy with prices, but it's to be expected depending on the rarity and age of the item. Plus, not all retro games or consoles are going to be spotless every time. And they always have options for "Acceptable" looking consoles and "Cosmetically Flawed Cartridges", plus the imperfections are usually very minor and don't affect the game itself, so I don't mind. And if you don't agree with a price, then there's always other options online.Overall (sorry for the long review), this is my main go-to for online retro game shopping and I would highly recommend it to others wanting similar purchases. Hopefully one day, I'll get an order filmed finally, haha. But seriously, these are lovely people and I can't wait till I can order more from them!

My go to spot for old school games and consoles. They ship out super quick, and everything is in great condition (even when it’s discounted for being cosmetically flawed). Will continue to order online, and would definitely make the 2 hour drive out there if they ever open an in person store!

Amazing customer service. I purchased an N64 that did not work properly (expected with a ~30 year old system). Instead of having me send back the system, wait until it arrives, and send me a replacement, customer service immediately sent me a replacement system with prepaid postage to return the old system.

Recently I made my second purchase with some more games and I was impressed again. Definitely recommend buying nostalgic games from here at a very reasonable price.

I've made a few purchases with DKOldies with a couple more on the way. The customer service is easy to get a hold of for any issues. The games come clean and in great shape along with free shipping and are packaged with care. Their videos on social media are entertaining and fun to watch. I was a little weary ordering a WiiU console after some bad experiences with eBay so decided to order from DK Oldies.I was highly impressed with how the package arrived. The console was clean and well packed. Plenty of protection to ensure the shipping drop kicks wouldn't break anything inside. I was very happy to see new components included to ensure that everything we needed was there to make for a great experience with this legacy console.When powered on everything worked as expected and delivered a like new experience. Pretty stoked overall.

My wife tried to surprise me for Christmas with a PlayStation 2 slim that I have wanted for years. We received it a few days ago I went to set it up and wouldn’t turn on maybe a Power button issue , I also noticed they gave is a 5V power supply the PlayStation calls for 8.5 V not sure if that was the issue either but for $250 there shouldn’t have been any issues at all . Still waiting on them to send me a replacement console . Shipping is taking forever and I only live 3 hours away . I will be leaving another review once I get my new console. Praying the next review will be better . Considering the high hopes and confidence I had when I found DK Oldies 🤞.So I received my replacement yesterday and seems to be running great I ran it for about 3 hours no issue. Thank you for making things right .

My brother recently passed, and I acquired our old NES that we would play for hours one end. I have very fond memories of that. We received the NES as a together gift from our parents for Christmas. He left home once he graduated high school and took the NES with him. Anyhow, I found the NES when help sort his possessions and it was like opening a time capsule. Everything was pristine, the box, pamphlets, game boxes, power pad was like new. He always took excellent care of his things. I took the NES home and popped in double dragon. We would play that game till we had blisters on our fingers. You want to talk about a wave of emotion, memories and nostalgia. Anyhow, this whole experience has really got me back into retro gaming. I never knew there was a Super Double Dragon on SNES and I had seen YouTube shorts of dkoldies. So I ordered it and it's an amazing game. The combat style is much more updated than previous DD games. I have been having a wonderful time playing it with my children. Big brother would be proud. Thanks for helping me rediscover a piece of my youth. I look forward to ordering some more titles in the future.

This is a great place to shop for older game systems and games. The customer service is awesome and the shipping is very fast. My Grandson loves his new PS3 that I purchased for Christmas. He collects old game systems so I will definitely be back to DK Oldies in the future. Great shop!

PayPal transfer for items I sold to them took a week from when they received the items. Plus they made me cover the PayPal fee, so I didn’t get the full amount I was quoted.Probably won’t buy or sell from again.Edit: DK, thanks for the reply. I sent a note to your team and really wasn’t satisfied with the answer. I got a quote to sell my items for $50, not “$48.50 after a PayPal service fee is deducted” which is frustrating due to lack of transparency. While $1.50 fee isn’t much money, it’s disingenuous to quote a price and not truly honor it. Operating a business comes with costs that should be absorbed not subtly passed to the customer.

Was hesitant at first. Called, talked to customer service, asked a million questions and the patients of the rep let me know it was ok to move ahead.Since my original purchase of the N64 console, 2 controllers and the promo pack games, I have made several purchases since then and I am very pleased each and every time. SELLERS BEWARE: DK Oldies does not honor in writing quotes they themselves send out prior to sending any retro games to them to sell. When you receive payment for your items it will be less than the quote they provided for you and is included in the shipping box when they receive said items. They also will ship you 3rd party items like controllers for instance, when you are paying for the real authentic and refurbished originals. Case in point a knock off brand controller came with my Sega Genesis.

I've been looking for this title for a little while (Obi-Wan). Everything I've found was in rough condition. Found it on DK Oldies and I'm glad I did. Not only was the disc in great shape but the case and manual were intact and in perfect condition. If I hadn't known better, I'd have thought it was brand new! Thank you DK Oldies!

So. Far I have bought gamecube system, four games from dkoldies and they are all worked great and shipped very fast. The customer service is amazing and they help you out no matter what the problem is. Great company to buy from.

The controller I received was faulty. I reached back out to DKOldies and let them know what the issue was and they sent another controller and a return label to send the defective controller back. Sticky situation handled very well no complaints here the controller I received works perfectly fine and they were able to iron out my issue within a week and I'd say that's pretty darn good considering the distance. I look forward to further business with DKOldies in the future.

It is so hard to find quality retro games/consoles and DKOldies has truly put a smile on my face with these quality and nostalgia games full of great memories. I have purchased “Road Rash ll, Vigilante 8 and was not disappointed.I grew up around the time when the NES “Nintendo Entertainment System” came out and it’s so great to know that there is a retro store who cares about customers from an era that still appreciates good and quality retro games.DKOldies is also opening up new doors for this new generation to also appreciate retro gaming. I've been vigorously ordering games from DK Oldies for three years and they've always been awesome. Out of three dozen games I've ordered from them, only one game hasn't worked, and they were incredibly cordial with the whole process. Else wise, I have zero complaints.
