Dr. Mike is reasonable, the female doctors charge more. However, if your animal is sick and you need an appointment quickly look elsewhere, they are in it for the money. There is no compassion for the animals.My dog is sick and should be seen within 24 hours but he is being made to wait 5 days, or go thousands of dollars in debt to emergency vet.I will be looking for a more compassionate veterinarian service, someone who cares about the animals and not just the money.

They was very patient and took excellent care of my very sassy cat Jax . Back in October I thought Jax had an infection on his paw but ended up being a mass that Dr. Mike removed and Jax hasn’t had an issue since . Thanks to the awesome staff at Town and Country .

Teddy is nervous for his appointment & needs his daddy to go with him, but we like his vet. The vet takes time and actually checks him out. Their phone service is not so good, not so good at all. The girls are very busy at the front desk and can't handle the volume of service that they need to provide.

I had been using town and country vet in Montrose, pa, only to realize they are less than professional. They had been treating one of my cats for a UTI, liquid drops. I had accidentally spilled the medicine and wanted to make sure my cat received full prescribed dosage. I contacted their office requesting a second dosage and was told the amount the cat received was sufficient, the next day my cat had darker blood in her urine. This would have cost 20.00 $To get refill. I called multiple times, was put on hold for a total of 31 minutes. Then the next day I took my cat to the vet service at Wal Mart where my cat was given a shot for her UTI, she is doing great and getting back to her old playful self. This did cost more but the end result was a relief.. I also have a dog who has multiple health issues, she also needed an antibiotic. We had taken her to a specialist in Clark summit. She was put on low dosage antibiotic for am and pm. Dr. Chris says let’s take her off them and see what happens. Dog went into distress and she ordered a much larger dosage than specialist recommended. I was coming close to running out and requested refill. After multiple phone calls I checked with chewey to see if Rx had been filled. “No response from T & W. I called and was put on hold to be disconnected multiple times by staff. My dog was getting worse w/o antibiotic. She has multiple internal issues. Finally I am told to bring in urine sample, by then it had been sleeting and they are 40 min away. I called around to see if anyone I knew had antibiotics and was able to secure some. Thank god I am going to be working with a new centenarian with great reputation. Run do no walk away from T & W. My dog was also given a 150.00 blood test. I went to pay bill and it was over $300.00. Not once was I consulted on these charges. They are all about upselling and have chose to blatantely, show their true colors of greed.

was in for Haiu, has a large spot on his side. she biopsied it , call me the next morning just infection NOT cancer. treated him for fleas, spot stuff just does not work. very caring and careful with him. I will return.

We drive almost 40 minutes to go here from the Binghamton area. We do this because they have shown and proven that they truly care about animals and making sure they are cared for. We highly recommend Town & Country Veterinary.

3 out of 4 times I've called during business hours and got voice mail. When I did get an answer I told her I had an emergency and she didn't have any appointments available until the next day but wouldn't give it to me. She told me I had to call back in the morning. I called exactly at 8 AM when they opened, and that 10 o'clock appointment was gone already. I also was supposed to have a $32 credit there and they didn't have it on file. So they stole $32 from me as well as failed me on 4 separate occasions. Not the way to run a business! I went elsewhere

I do not doubt the veterinarians care, but I had two encounters that made me say- never again. First, after explained I wanted communication and budgeting over some diagnostic tests during covid before they were done, they handed me a $500 bill from tests. The last, they refused to book me a future appointment or put me on a cancellation list when I was unable to find urgent care for an issue although I kept saying no one else would take me earlier. They refused care saying I HAD to take the dog somewhere else and not wait for them- but I had NOWHERE to go! They have no flexibility.

Very frustrated with them. Brought in urine sample for cat over a week ago. Got text that they would be sending me info on medicine. Have called every day. Vet won’t send info and no one will let me know if she needs special food. I feel like they don’t have time to deal with my pet, which is strange, as I got her from them. I will call another vet if I don’t get a response in 48 hours.

We were following up on a recent surgery. We had some concerns. The office got us in the same day. During the visit. Dr Terrell was honest and straight forward. Didn't sugar coat anything. She spoke with sincerity and didn't sugar coat. She presented our options and didn't pressure us to make a decision. I can't recommend this office enough.

Our dog had two grand mal seizures and then we discovered that he was also having focal seizures. Dr. Mike and his staff came highly recommended by my brother who has Dr. Mike as his vet for his farm animals and his own pets. Everyone that we dealt with was super nice and friendly! We felt that everyone was truly concerned about our dog and wanted to give him the best care. In the past we always felt like it was all about the money and not the pet at other vets. We travel to Philadelphia for the best care for our children, we will now travel almost an hour to get the best care for our Max. I highly recommended Dr. Mike and his staff!

This is the first time in a long time I felt that animals were being treated with LOVE, not because of the money they could bring in. Prices are GREAT, Drs. are GREAT, techs are Great, TOWN & COUNTRY will be my vet from this day forward!! I had another vet ,I moved & could not find a vet that I cared for, I am soooo happy to find such a great vet service at TOWN & COUNTRY VETS!!!!!

We were thrilled with the excellent and affordable care that Dr. Mike and Dr. Robin gave to our pet goat last week when he needed a leg amputation. When no one else would or could help us, they made the accommodations to save his life. We will be bringing our other pets here.

Complete heartbreaking experience at Town and Country Montrose. I had my cat scheduled for a euthanasia at 3:40. Was praying for an easy, quick, and painless experience for him. My cat has a broken back and didn’t use his back legs much, there was no muscle or anything on them. Skin and bone. The vet tech injected the first injection in his back legs, nothing…. Came back in, he was wide awake, administered another… said it’s because of his broken back, he has bad circulation to give it some time, a little drowsy but still awake. Nobody came back in to check on us. I had enough, at 5pm I went to the front where I could hear everybody talking and laughing and they said honestly the amount they administered should have killed him because he is only 3.5 lbs. He was scared, suffering, and awake on the table for so long, I told them to do something, so they gave him ANOTHER in the front leg and put him to sleep finally, and then administered his medication. My poor man suffered for so long and had felt the pain of 3 different needles, I felt neglected in the room hearing them talking and laughing in the front while I’m just waiting and hoping someone comes and helps us. I will never bring another pet there again. I hope nobody has to have a similar experience to that.

Town and country has been my vet of choice for my 3 dogs, however after calling this morning and explaining that my mastiff cannot move and is suffering, they tell me sorry, we cannot get her in. So they are going to let her suffer instead of fitting her in? Where’s the humane treatment and care? My dog is laying here possibly dying. But no worries, I’ll call elsewhere. I DO NOT recommend these vets for emergency care!

Absolutely the worst vet in the planet.My cat was extremely sick and could barely breath and were going to put him under to have him fixed and told me he had herpes and that why he sneezed alot and then the nasty rotten wife comes out of the room with my cat and said she bit him and was going on and on about how she could possibly have rabies.lol and the way they handle animals I'm shocked more don't report them.I went to to wonderful vet in town and was told that if he had been put under it most likely would have killed hom because my cat had serious breathing problems.Oh and my cat didn't have herpes..they are just not very smart.HISwife is the nastiest rotten human I have ever met and her husband is beyond whipped and you.can see she wears the pants because she decided that he wasnt "allowed"her words to do the surgery and her and her husband are horrible with the animals..thry are so rough with them ..I can't stress how much you shouldn't go there.The wife literally followed me out the door.As if I was intimidated lol..miss tough girl lol..DO NOT GO HERE

I can not say enough wonderful things about Town and Country. Everyone is absolutely amazing and understanding and professional and caring and wonderful!!! Our very first visit was for vaccinations with our three pitbulls, yes 3 all at the same time and they had no problem with that and what we though our youngest is alittle over 2 and we thought she was pregnant turned out to be a false pregnancy and thank god we had our appt that day because she was actually very very sick with Pyometra and the dr told us she needed surgery immediately or she would die very soon like the next day. So they moved things around and took her in immediately and performed surgery on her and that was the longest hour and a half of our lives!!! Our baby girl made it and she was so sick and they did an amazing job. Thank you to the entire staff and Dr Robin for saving our little Black Betty’s life. You will be in our pups lives forever!!! Way to make a first impression. We love you guys and think the absolute world of you all. Thank you again for all you do and countless hours with our animals and the love and concern you give to each one and they are very reasonably priced too. My dog was under the weather and I needed to get him in as soon as I could. I called and they got him in same day and got him on the road to recovery. I was impressed since it would be our first visit with them.

Dr Seifert saved my Lucy from several bites from Ground Bees and discovered she has a thyroid problem and now on medication. The staff is very caring to customers and their pets.
