I've now made the trek to this store on two occasions. (And I am certain there will be more!). He has a vast and varied collection of vinyl in this store. Both times I walked away with extremely large stacks of records, and have been extremely pleased with my finds. I HIGHLY recommend this store! (I will include a few pictures of some of what I have found here. But that's only the surface of what he has.)

I saw this store when dropping off a rental car at the nearby airport on a day they were closed. Called the number on the door, owner called right back and opened up for us. I didn't have alot of time to look but found half a dozen records Ive been wanting, prices were great, records sound great too. I live in Virginia but will definitely be making time to stop by the next time I am in PA.

Even with limited days that they're open they are worth the trip. Allow a few hours to go through the treasures they have for sale. All genres and formats are available. You can make appointments for other days if needed. We will definitely be going back to explore as we found several CD'S for our collection.

Great selection, excellent staff, and cozy shop. This is an awesome shop with a relaxed environment and a TON of vinyls to choose from. Personally, I always leave with more than what I came for, thanks to the $1 vinyl section, but the whole experience is fun and totally worthwhile. I am happy that a shop like this still exists, and I look forward to seeing it thrive for years to come.

This store is amazing and as soon as you walk through the door you'll know. The owner is a great human and always greets you with a smile. The vinyl is vintage and the prices are so reasonable. If your a connoisseur and you like your vinyl like fine wine then you should check this place out.

Such a quiant little record shop with great deals! There's a whole room of dollar deals where you can find some awesome records, and the front room is very well priced as well. It's a mecca for rock but you can find other stuff too. The owner knows a lot about the records and is great to chat with. He's so nice and will put on any record you'd like to hear. Definitely check out this shop if you're in town!

An incredible selection of vinyl throughout the store. Prepare to spend more time than you might think in the $1 room. I walked out with records I never thought I'd find again and for a dollar, you may as well take a chance on the music you’ve never heard. The owner is cool about returning records that aren't playable. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

Very awesome selection of just about everything. Has a ton of punk 7's I love that. Very reasonable on prices. Highly recommend to anyone who loves their vinyl. It's about time Williamsport gets a real record store.

My record collection has more than doubled in the past year since Sonic Ascension opened up. It’s nice to finally have a quality record store in our area. Now, after visiting other stores, I realize how spoiled I’ve been having this shop here! The selection is broad, prices are the best I’ve ever seen, even for new pressings, and the $1 room has some incredible gems to be found. Some record shops feel pretentious, not here. Lee is a great guy, down to earth, and will always search out for records if you ask.

Good selection of vinyl and the dog , Hobo, is friendly and loves to greet customers. We camp in the area and this is our stop every Saturday. If you like vinyl this should be the first place you go!

This place has some pretty good deals. Mostly vinyl albums, but worth going it to at least take a look. The owner is very nice, and is honest about pricing when he buys as well.

Excellent record store, for all your vinyl and CD needs. Great place to find punk, new wave, metal, alternative, and rock music. Very knowledgeable staff. They buy, sell and trade music. A music paradise, for the obsessive collector. Right on Broad street, when you cross the Montoursville bridge, next to Sunoco.

One of the biggest record stores I've seen. Not in size but in stock. Boxes of vinyls and cassettes line the walls in a highly organized fashion. And the prices are all very good and reasonable.

Driving home from State College, we decided to avoid the highways. So glad we did! We saw a band playing in a tent on the side of the road and stopped to listen. The shop was a definite added bonus. Bought 10 CDs
