If you know what you need it’s not a problem. In the past I have asked sales people for help and they have not known the answer but completely made stuff up. I now ask other customers if I don’t know what I am looking for. Also all check outs are self checkout.

I sure hope I wasn't lied to today. I spent over $500 and the first piece I need is a special order, will update in a few weeks when it is supposed to arrive. When I am left a voicemail on the phone they have I get an email. We will see.

First clerk I asked for directions was no help. Second person was very helpful. When we got to the registers, all they had was self-serve. A very nice clerk assisted us and got us through it.

Who's brilliant idea was it to get rid of all the cashier's and funnel everyone through four self check registers? The line was easily 20 people long this morning. Definitely not waiting in that mess again!

Incredible amount of hardware and do it yourself stuff. Employees are friendly and helpful. But, be careful with what you get. Some products are "cheapened" up for mass sale, and don't have a good wear and tear life to them. A handyman's candy store.

I ordered a washer and dryer online on Black Friday. My delivery date was set yet the delivery people never showed up. I sat waiting for hours but assumed it would be delivered the next day, it was not going to be. I complained to the store manager and he did everything in his power to ensure it was delivered. He was going to deliver it himself if need be. He was absolutely fantastic! The delivery team was equally as fantastic! My horrible experience was completely turned around by this group! It meant the world to me!!

In my experience the people in the paint department are top notch and in general the people on the floor are super helpful.Sadly, most of the time there is at most one person actually working at checkout. It is bad enough that I have to check myself out but more often than not I am waiting in line to do it.

LOWES WILL NOT HONOR THEIR CONTRACTSIn June of 2022, we had Lowes (Montoursville, PA) come out to give us an estimate, on fixing our 25 x 15 porch. We agreed to their recommendations and moved forward. Lowes stated, they could do the work in August and it would take one week to complete the job. August came, materials were in their warehouse, but they couldn’t get us in to complete the job. In October of 2022, they began work.Contractors arrived for the work and proceeded to work 2-3 hours per day, for the next 3 weeks. (Why only 2-3 hours per day you ask? Well, because they each had back problems.) They failed to put in the support beams they recommended (even though they brought the materials with them to do the task). They put the Trex in backwards. They scuffed up 80% of the black railing while installing it. The stair railing was not installed properly.After “completion” of the job, they left hundreds of dollars, in materials, laying out in the elements. I made several calls (to the contractor) for 2 weeks, about the remaining materials. When I finally did reach him, he said someone would be out the next day. Very early, the next morning, they stopped by and picked up their gloves and some items in the front yard. All the while, leaving hundreds of dollars of materials in the back yard. (This was November mind you; so, the weather was dreary and wet.) Needless to say, the remaining Trex and support boards became warped and the boxes of materials, began to fall apart. We were never informed that these materials were our left-over materials! Otherwise, we would have stored them appropriately from the beginning.In November 2022, we filed a complaint with the main office in Montoursville and were sent on a tirade of dizzying phone calls. In March, they finally sent out one of their contractors, to look at the job. He found many, many issues with the porch and stated due to the previous contractor’s work (or lack of), our porch would need to be completely ripped down and rebuilt. He submitted his findings to Lowes. We called a week later to discuss the project. We explained our frustration and the need for them to make it right. We explained they were responsible for fixing our porch. They stated they needed to discuss it with a manager and would call us back. When a week passed and we did not hear anything, we called again. They said they needed to discuss it with the manager and would get back to us the following Monday. (This went on for a month).One month later, when they finally did call back about setting up a time to fix the porch, they ever-so-politely asked if we were willing to PAY FOR THE REPAIRS! I was polite back and told them this was their mess-up and they needed to make it right. They said they needed to talk to the manager again and would call us back. We are now in May of 2023. The porch has not been fixed. Materials have not been ordered and no one is calling us back. We are calling the District Attorney’s office and will be suing Lowes for this debacle.Do not waste your money at Lowes. Lowes is not an honorable establishment. Installed a HVAC last month. It works well, but now the hole they put next to our window leaks when it rains. Called and left a message. No response. If you have problems later with installation, do not count on the issue being fixed.Update 12/22/23: called again and never received A call back. Very disappointed.

The last 2 times I have been to Lowe’s in Montoursville, nobody has been there that can cut wood for me. The last visit, i stood at the mill desk for over 20 minutes, nobody ever answered the call so we left. I wish they would build a Home Depot here to bring a little competition to Lowe’s. The customer service might improve

Tried to buy a refrigerator a range(stove) and a washer dryer combo, the ones I wanted they only had display models and had none on hand, I mean of the three items they had zero. So they have a system where if they don't have it on hand you can still pay there and have the items delivered and installed. So we went that route and two days later my items are brought in on a truck the delivery people did not speak English and dropped the items off in the living room and left they did not install anything or put the items where I could easily move them to where they needed to go they were also supposed to remove items from my property which I paid 50 dollars each for a total of 100 dollars they did not remove the items and of this message they still haven't sent anyone out to pick up the items which I moved to the yard for their ease in removal

This Lowes is the best!! Fast, friendly service with a smile!! I went there for "River granite rock". I parked by the nursery & called them to ask for instructions on where to pick up these bags of rocks . Kenny answered, & he met me out front & helped me pick out the correct rocks needed for a project. He loaded the HEAVY bags into the back of my truck & couldn't be nicer. My husband delivers dry wall/ Wall board to this Lowes and they are always WAY faster at unloading his Flatbed Semi-truck than any other Lowes in Pa or New York!:) Very Pleased!! You guys & gals rock!!:)Edit: on Nov. 22nd, 2019So, I went to this Lowe's last week to purchase Paint, Tiles, Wood Stain, etc. for my Mixed Media Art and Acrylic Painting Projects. I needed "Specific" Material's to use for the "Online E-Course" I'm taking: 'Shelee Art" who specializes in the "Bloom technique" in Abstract Acrylic Art. I was ever so graciously greeted by "Wendy Benjamin," who works in "Home Decor", not the "Paint" Dept. She knew which isles these items were on & EXACTLY where they were!! She also found me "Substitute" items for "Behr" products, because that brand is sold @"Home Depot", not Lowe's. She was VERY helpful, enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing & literally treats customers like "People" not "numbers".She deserves a raise and promotion!! This employee went FAR above & BEYOND her duties to help me in this HUGE Store!!👍🎨🖌

We were there to install a display kitchen backsplash and despite having a quite blantant and obvious hint, (the large display in the dead center of the department missing an 8ft x 2.5ft section of any kind of material betwixt the counter and cabinets) the Dept manager, looking confused and generally agitated, had no inkling to what we were talking about and had we not had a work order, would've sent us away. Between that and filling our work area with two NON-DISPLAY oven chambers and almost a pallet of air conditioners (in November) that for whatever reason couldn't be moved to anywhere in the entire store besides right where were carrying large pieces of heavy and breakable pieces of STONE, the trip was, to say the least, very frustrating. The pre-installed lights under the cabinets that not a single person there could even think of how to get us permission to remove quickly became another factor. The real perpetrator of the camels broken humps tho, was when that same Dept head proceeded to give wrong information about the material we had installed to a customer, who after seeing the final product was was instantly sure of what she wanted now, after talking to the guy the entire time we were trying to decide. Product knowledge doesn't seem very important these days I guess. The candles being 25 something dollars was a little gross too.

Over all good but min service if at all in Gardening or loading. WAY TO MANY NON certified service or medical registered service dogs. There was one late elementary girl walking 3 dogs in there by herself while mom and dad were 50' ahead and paying any attention. This kind of stuff makes it very difficult on us that have properly trained, federally registered medical aid dogs.

Called about a warranty, first got a complete run around with a machine. No answer in appliances with several attempts.Then absolutely no help with talking to a person. Called Mom & Pop appliance store and had prompt help and repair man enroute. For now on I'll stay away from the giant chain stores. Shop at mom

I have spent a TON of money at your stores in the past and a TON more recently and have never had incompetent dopey people to deal with like I had today. I purchased Trex railing over the phone from your Mill Hall location ( where there are very competent helpful knowledgeable people I might add) I paid for and it should have been an easy, go in and pick up. Nope, customer service said they didn't have it, go yo pro center, Pro center employee was very helpful but busy and told me it had to be at service desk. I went back to service desk and wS told they didn't have it, so I went around and found my OWN order, than the employee had to be walked to it, by ME. Than I was told to go around and he would meet me with a cart, well I waited, and waited, and waited and evidently he forgot because he went off with other things. You might want to get some competent employees.

So I used to have much more respect for lowes however I am a handyman and end up with extra materials I no longer need and unless you have the receipt they refuse to return basically anything which in my scope of jobs I don't always need what I get and during the course of my jobs I from time to time don't need or have a surplus of items that I no longer need. During the course of work the receipts sometimes get lost misplaced or just forgotten that being said now I am stuck with all these materials I cannot use. It is very frustrating and I understand to an extent that they may need a receipt for returns however it's not always an option. You need to address this issue! I will stick with home depot until they stop acting as though I have stolen the things I need to return or exchange for other jobs. Unnecessary rules on returns.

So I normally love Lowe's but this experience has been the worst.I bought a dryer which was dropped at my house and set up by the lowes men. They left it here knowing it didn't work. I tried multiple time through the 3 month time frame to contact lowes. Finally when I got ahold of someone they said we'll they shouldn't have left it but we can't do anything about it. Said Whirlpool had to send someone to fix a dryer that never worked. So they sent a guy and he looked up the info and told us how the dryer isn't even new but from 2020!So not only did we get a broken dryer but not even a new one that I paid for!Honestly this makes me want to share with everyone including putting on my blog that I review products on.People need to know they are getting screwed over.I did have a conversation with someone on chat tonight who said they would send me the correct dryer but to call the number when they are available. Will update after.

Ordered a new dishwasher and the install time frame was 2 weeks. It's almost 2 weeks and the item is not even at the store yet. No one contacted me about the delay and after a 12 minute hold I hung up. Tried again next day and found out the item is still pending. Not a very good time frame!!!

I am updating my recent review. This is the second day that I've sat for four hours waiting for my dryer which is damaged to be swapped out. No phone call, no show again. I am about ready to tell them to come get washer and dryer both and refund me and I'll go somewhere else to buy one. I will never buy another appliance from lowes. It has been nothing but a nightmare for a stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer. I just tried calling appliance manager and got hung up on twice. Nice way to do business. I wouldn't give any stars if it would let me. I will say that the delivery team of Miguel and Carlos are wonderful.

This location in particular can be really bad. Im a local contractor and frequent this store out of necessity. In the last 4-6 months customer service and employee attitudes seem to have hit an all time low. One person on a register, one person at customer service with lines at both and then there will be 4-5 employees hanging out at the self checkout. I've had numerous negative experiences with being overcharged at the register and stuck at customer service with someone who usually can't help. I recently took in a defective product that I received for Christmas to swap for a new one. They took the product, returned the money to the credit card of the person that got me the gift, and sent me out the door empty handed. I feel like my property was more or less stolen, and am left extremely unhappy.

I love me a day at Lowe's,🤩 I could spend hours. But if you're going to order a washer and dryer make sure you are very specific as to when it comes in. Now I ordered during the pandemic, but what went from a week or two, to them saying a month and a half. But that's just being a cautious date. Two months later, with many phone calls, they arrived!!! But I still love me Lowe's 🤩

We like Lowe's, and we went today to purchase alot of items for our kitchen. The girl in the cabinet was very helpful. The gentleman with the back splash was very helpful. The gentleman that worked in the lumber section was very helpful. But when we needed assistance finding a ceiling fan there was no one in that department, we went to the customer service desk and they paged someone. 30 minutes someone showed up. And it wasn't even the man's department so he had no idea where to locate the fan we were trying to buy. He was as helpful as he could be until the person who was supposed to be in that department finally showed up. There were many employees walking around the store and five people at the customer service desk but for some reason those people could t help. I will continue to shop at Lowe's but they really need to train people better. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who helped us. You all did a great job.

This place is run as poorly as possibly can be. They employ probably 20+ Cheshires from what I have heard but you will only ever see one or two working at a time probably to save money even though this is a billion dollar company with this location making multiple millions a month alone. I shop here from time to time because this place holds the monopoly on home appliances in mass, as it is the only lows or Home Depot in the closest 40 miles from here. This place needs a massive improvement in management and functionality. Until then I will staying far away from this joke of a establishment.
