I really like having a DG store near my home; however I'm disappointed in the store stock and appearance lately. I visited to shop for kids birthday party supplies, a tablecloth, and anything else that I could get at a good price on my list. Our store is often disheveled, but during this visit I abandoned my cart after only a few minutes. None of the items I was looking for were in stock and the store was a mess. This has been going on for years. I was in the store a year or so ago and witnessed what I assume was a regional manager working with staff to resolve the store appearance and stock. I was happy to see the effort, but it didn't last long. Other area stores are in much better shape. Why has this one been neglected?

I love shopping here. Both the mangers I have been in contact with are very friendly. I always get greeted upon arrival. Fast wait times during checkout. Well maintained and clean store.

While this store is a bit chaotic at times due to employees being lazy, for the most part the staff here is knowledgeable and very kind..I have never had to wonder around aimlessly looking for an item, because there has always been someone to point me in the right direction. Other than what can only be a lack of quality employees, the 3-4 employees that are there (ALL THE TIME) seem to be taking care of business, day in and day out! Keep up the great work!

The absolute slowest checkout I've ever experienced, everyone all the way up to the management but when you're dealing with the kind of person who seriously purchases 80 percent or more of their goods and food from Dollar stores they are serious about things being CHEAP so the combination of very low intelligence and extremely cheap people asking no brain's questions about prices it can become backed up with traffic trying to get out the store.... Horrible Experience

Needed to get cleaning supplies it would be easier to tell you what they do have in stock for cleaning supplies rather than what they are out of as their entire cleaning section is probably 3/4 of the way empty so just a heads up if you need cleaning supplies don't waste your time The people here were very nice I was greeted very friendly when I walked in the door I can at least say that.

This is a newer Dollar general and it's very clean and organized. But they seem to have a problem with keeping their shelfs stocked. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with supplier shortages and unable to find help

Employees are very nice here.I think in general DG is trying to suffocate their customers! Every one I've been in (except 1 near Aldi in Penn Hills) is very uncomfortable to walk around in for more than 5 mins. It's humid, sticky and unreasonably hot in those stores. Even the cashiers look exhausted and uncomfortable.

Store is nice and employees are helpful but the store space itself is small making the isles small and crammed with products. They do carry all the items other stores do so I guess it one of those 6 in one half dozen in the other!?As for methods of payment on the door it says EBT and I guess it's my bad for not reading the small print but they do not accept food stamps as a form of payment. EBT cash = yes, EBT food = no. I paid with my debit card because I felt bad the guys helped me finish up finding items and it was about 10 minutes after closing time that I was rung. That's when I was told no food stamps, here they have an agreement with the Shop n Save in the same plaza (Haymaker Village) that they will not accept food stamps. The next day or two days later I had my son return all of my SNAP acceptable items for the dollars, I am on a VERY tight budget of less than $200/month due to illness and out of work since 9/2017. Some may think it was cheap what I did but that $43 was like hitting the lottery at this point of my life. Other than that it's your average Dollar General with ample parking and handicapped parking as well, I am not certain about a ramp for wheelchairs. I'm trying to picture it in my mind but cannot say for certain if they provide this.I almost forgot I was waiting for my Lyft to arrive and it was very cold and windy, as the manager was leaving he offered me his hat and scarf even though he was walking home! I accepted and thanked him for being so thoughtful and kind 😊 gotta give credit where credit is due!The reason I gave 3 stars is due to their not accepting EBT food as payment, I think they should accept it, to heck with Shop n Save!

I had a receipt and the coffee Maker was leaking and it's only 3 weeks old. They made the comment why don't you take it to the store you bought it from. Kind of annoyed me and I was in there store. I didn't get the other things I was wanting because of it.

My favorite store. Has what I need at a fair price. Close to my apartment. Employees are always nice when I go there and helpful when I can't find something.

Friendly staff. Store more organized than a year ago. Used to be inventory in the aisles and you could barely walk around. Much better now.

This store never has anything I may go in for and is always dirty! Try the new one on 48!! Really nice.

The prices are great and staff has been nice. However the store is old, small, and has no frozen or refrigerated items(except a small amount of bottled drinks).

I Spent $37 dollars at Dollar General & after she got done with my order she REFUSED to give me my $5.00 back , & I have my coupon from Monday that visit, & Coupon if u spend over $25.00 u r entitled 2 get $5.00 of on Saturday visit & worker was RUDE to me ,IAM "NOT" a happy customer,& iv spent thousands of dollars over the years at that very same STORE,,,she gets "NO STARS" in my opinion

New store manager at this location. There is definitely no clutter in the isles as the last man has posted. Those pictures were from 2019 when the store was trashed.

I needed to purchase a pillow, dollar general had the most comfortable pillow... as been and being has been tested... however I'm still cooler than the other side... of this pillow

Always stop in each one I see if to see if they have something different. Some stores have more selection than others. Just stop in!!

Not bad for basic items,but store could be much bigger,things that need to be put on shelves is often left boxed up and in the aisles, creating a hazard for unaware customers.

Always only one person working so lines are so long. Its very crowded and unorganized in there. For people who use EBT this is prob the only store that will not take them out of every other Dollar General which does,

Nothing changes at this store. Dirty, not stocked well and cashiers who don't seem to know what's going on around them. Poor compared to other D G stores in the area

This is the most disorganized store I've ever been in...but...everyone there is nice, the prices are low and they have a lot of stuff, if you can find it, lol.

Bigger store that I'm used to plus I was able to get Foster Grant reading glasses for $12 which drug stores and Giant Eagle want $24.

Store is a mess. Can't find much easily but the people are really nice there and you can't beat the prices!!
