Dr Lusk and her staff take very good care of our fur babies and very polite and caring to us the fur parents. We had our girls spayed and the care and comfort of the girls was awesome they are very active 8 month olds but they made sure I had what I needed to keep them comfortable and safe during the recovery love the surgery suits made taking care of them so easy. Was worth every penny for the peace of mind and care they received.

UPDATE 2023:Long story short…After a couple years of going there, we switched Vets…A misdiagnosis and feeling as though the doctor was overwhelmed and didn’t want to be bothered with our situation and was giving up before it had even gotten that bad…we moved on last year in 2022..We’ve been taking our two boxers here for a few years now and I can’t say anything bad!!! They always take such good care of our two babies any time we’re there and we really trust Dr.Lusk!

The team is amazing- we have be with over 15 years and are spectacular. Max was limping and just uncomfortable. Tuesday they seen him and after exam and X-rays- said probable injury. Meds prescribed. Wed the call- radiologist said nothing obvious and the bloodwork close to normal- but stay the coarse with meds. This is Wednesday afternoon.

I've been with this vet office for a long time now. They are always amazing with my animals. Yesterday they were super busy and had me drop off my dog to them so they could squeeze him in between patients because he was having an emergency. They made time for him when already being super busy and it's highly appreciated. This place cares about their fur patients and I will continue to go to them for all my animals needs!

I would never take my furbabies to any other veterinarian! Dr. Lusk saved my Coopers life a few months ago. He had an obstruction in his small intestines. I called and explained the situation and they got me in immediately! The aftercare was exceptional! Dr. Lusk and her staff called and text me multiple times throughout the day for almost a week straight. The compassion, care, empathy and overall concern is something that's hard to find. Everyone that works there is friendly, caring and welcoming. We've been going to her more years than I can count. And when we had to send our furbabies to the Rainbow Bridge, Dr. Lusk and her entire staff was caring and comforting. If you're looking for a veterinarian, look no further she's the absolute best!

My 14 yr old Toby had a bad dry cough, I called in the am n they were able to get me in that afternoon! Dr. Lusk explains everything so well n answered every question I had in depth. He is on the mend n doing better everyday!! The entire staff is also so helpful!! Highly recommend!!!!!

We started here just because it is local, but have been so happy with them. After we had to rush our cat to an emergency vet this weekend due to a urinary blockage (which he passed on his own, yay!) Mon Hospital followed up with us on Monday without us even calling them (the ER vet must have done so), gave us a ton of samples of food (at no charge) so we could try before having to buy... and agreed that running a bunch of expensive tests wouldn't be needed as we would do the same game plan of urinary support food no matter what the tests showed. I like how they don't try to push extra costs on us, yet give very sensible and compassionate care and give us lots of options that they explain very clearly.

Despite being very busy, they were able to see my sick cat immediately and saved his life. I can't say enough good things about the kindness of Dr. Lisa and her staff. They call to check up on your animals as well after a sick appointment to see how they are doing and if they can do anything. Dr. Lisa has been a blessing to us and our animals for many years and we will continue to use them for years to come.

They have cared for all of my animals past and present. That includes 5 cats and 3 dogs over the past 20 yrs. I will not take my fur babies anywhere else. Dr. Lisa and staff are caring, compassionate, and treat your animals as if they were their own. Prices are reasonable, and no treatment is recommended unless Dr Lisa feels it will improve your animals life. I can not say enough great things about them all.

Dr. Lusk & her staff are truly the most kind and caring Vet we have ever taken our boy to see. They are knowledgeable, articulate & with no doubt the very best at what they do. Our boy is an amazing feral cat that escapes outside whenever he can. Someone had set traps in our neighborhood & his foot was severely injured, we were scared & horrifiedto say the least. Dr. Lusk & her staff coordinated everything for the Surgeon, sent records over asap, has overseen his care along with the surgery & kept in constant contact with us with honest concern at every turn. For those of you pet parents that truly want quality care for your fur babies Dr. Lusk & the Monongahela Animal Hospital are the very best. 2022 update:The staff and Dr. Lisa take the time to let our pups be themselves and confirm or pretend everything is fine when we have an appointment. The patience often allows the staff to see what we the owners see in them to help diagnose what may be going on at the time! Senior dogs and pups are treated the same.I think we found our new vet in this area. Very good at meeting and examining our dogs for the first time.

Had an absolutely wonderful time today taking my corgi Walter to the vet for an irritated I. Everybody there was so loving and caring for my dog it was unbelievable. Theywere down 2 to 3 people staffing wise and still delivered top-notch service which really meant a lot to me and my dog. We will continue to come here for any and all doggie appts.
