The best place I’ve ever gone for coffee.Reminds me of an old record store I use to go to back where I’m from. Very relaxing and inviting. The lady who was working was very friendly and was nice to talk with while I was waiting. She also made the best coffee I think I’ve ever had. Think what the standout part of the experience was that when normally I’d be on my way after getting my order, instead kinda lost track of time and continued talking with the lady for a while. I almost ordered another coffee before I realized I had to head out. Can’t wait to back when I’m in town again.

Second visit: See the photos. The coffee remains great and the staff superb. But what is the deal with toddlers running all over the place? It was happening again and the parents were constantly telling them don't pull this, don't touch that, that's going to fall, etc. It's surreal. This was early afternoon on a Friday.It's also gross that there are dirty kids food bowls and blackened banana peels just left on tables to rot next to a toy plastic snake. Who wants to buy a coffee and sit around a table littered with half-eaten kids food? The parents need to be more responsible and clean up after their kids. It's rude to the owners and other patrons not to do so. I like the place. I love the coffee. I wish it were a little more adult and less daycare. I'm confused.FIRST VISIT: I want to give it 5 stars because I initially loved the shop and the coffee. However, the night I visited was an all you can eat pizza and coffee event. It started off ok but then the place was taken over and I mean taken over by families with toddlers. Suddenly, the serene vibe that's typical of coffee shops was shattered with screaming, crying, toys being thrown all over the place, kids falling off chairs and parents putting them in time out. There were a lot of kids in this little shop, like 7. It was very odd. You couldn't hear the music anymore over the screaming, crying and parents trying to rationalize with toddlers. Maybe they're related to the owners because the toddlers were behind the counter at times. I'll give it another chance because it's cool but I noticed when the kids and parents came in, many of the adults with laptops, books and such left. Seems you want that crowd since they buy the coffee, not toddlers.

Stopped in with my friend to get a coffee and kill some time this morning... we got two lattes and I got a muffin. Everything was perfect!! We have tried a lot of local coffee shops, but this is so far the absolute best!! I can't recommend it more highly. The baristas were friendly and pleasant, the sitting area is comfortable and relaxing. It was a perfect start to our morning, and we will definitely be back!

Little City Coffee is a great place to kick back and catch up with your gal pals while enjoying fresh gourmet coffee, smoothies, or sweets!The staff was patient and knowledgeable when explaining to my mother and I about all the delicious beverages they offer and answering my allergen concerns.The atmosphere and staff are warm and inviting.This is quick to become a regular stop for us.

What a gem! Nestled downtown, this shop offers a broad selection of teas, coffees, smoothies and such. Their Spring drinks are especially delightful. I added the honeysuckle syrup (made by them) to my tea and it was delicious. You are invited to stay a while by ample bookshelves stacked with books and board games. My favorite spot is the chairs by the sunny front windows. I'll come back again and again.

If you ever need a good cup of coffee, this is the place to be!Kid-friendliness: There are so many books to choose from and they have multiple board games.

This place is great! Coffee is delicious, staff is fast and responsive and the atmosphere is quiet but fun. They have board games to enjoy and a selection of books for sale. The selection of menu items is also quite extensive for a small coffee shop.

This place is great. Everyone should go here all the time. So cute and fun, and an awesome place to hang out or work. Coffee was amazing, honestly some of the best I've had anywhere. It would be a great place to hang out with friends (they have puzzles and a ton of games/board games for you to play) and also seemed to be pretty kid friendly. (They had children's books on the shelves...May have had some kids games but not sure) Also great for anyone who needs a quiet place to work or have a meeting. If I lived in the area I would be there all the time--absolutely would be my go-to spot. Will look forward to my next visit!

This was Perfect like always! The recent renovations are very streamlined and calm, which made this the ideal spot to tutor. The town is like family here and I miss visiting more often. This is the place to go for a drink and relaxation or conversation. They sometimes have a small selection of fresh desserts available, but don't always rely on it. I am NEVER let down with my time spent at LCC!

This is a pretty great little shop in the middle of Monongahela. I've been to a few coffee shops in the south west PA area, and I have to say the coffee here is excellent! It's not a real ritzy place, it's got a bunch of just random stuff around, it almost looks like an antique shop, but it's got a nice homey feel to it. Definitely better than the Starbucks over in Belle Vernon. I'd come here again.

I happened to walk in after hearing a most beautiful violin being played inside. It was an open mic night, they have them at the end of every month. While drinking wonderful coffee & relaxing in their classic coffee shop atmosphere I was immersed. This place is Brilliant. A repeat & frequent customer I shall be, from books everywhere to events such as this, it is a place worth visiting often

I found this coffee shop to be a cozy, fairly priced, kid friendly place to stop for a treat and down time. My children loved their Donuts and I enjoyed my latte. We even played a board game and my daughter enjoyed reading a book.

Literally a Hidden Gem. We stopped there on our way to visit Fallingwater Hose . It is really cute and cozy place , with colorful painting on the walls and book shelves full of books to by or borrow, and great coffee actually . Doesn't it sound like a heaven?!

I love the laid back atmosphere of this cafe with books to read and board games to play if you want. While I love a cappuccino - they offer so many new and interesting drink specials - it's fun and a delight to try something different!
