This place is filthy nasty. It's too bad for the residents of Monongahela as its the only close grocery store. A competitor is down the road and probably a better bet. This place is over priced, the selection is poor and it's so nasty I didn't buy food here. Look at the pictures. You shouldn't have holes in the wall and ceiling, peeling floor tiles and towels/water absorbers to catch run off from the leaking freezers. Great way to provide water for roaches and other bugs. The irony is their sign says they provide a clean store. Um... no.

OMG the best prices yet in our new area! Very clean and organized store. Super friendly and helpful staff!! As a proud polack I loved seeing periogies on an actual isle sign!!!!!!!! 😊

The guy in the meat department is always soooo nice. He always tries to have the huge bags of chicken tenders we buy every week and if he's out he calls me when they are in ..... We travel past another food land just to go to this one!!! The cashier's are always nice. The only downside is their is a lady I'm the deli who is absolutely AWFUL to customers, snippy, acts as if your bothering her....

Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have plenty of fresh meats. Meat prices are usually cheaper than Walmart. Never long wait in checkout lines.

Not as clean as one would like their grocer to be but, all in all, it was fully stocked and prices were great!!! Can't say anything bad about their cooking either, they served it up🔥HOT🔥too!!

My brother loves shopping there and telling me about the good sales. I went there yesterday and was amazed at how clean and well stocked they were. Excellent price on ground meat and was ground fresh. I will definitely go back. Employees were very helpful and pleasant. 👏

As groceries stores go this is my least favorite. The facility is small and the prices are average. The staff do a decent job keeping up the place. I really dont like the place because the patrons make it miserable. I have had people hit my vehicle in the lot, I have had patrons yell at me, I even had a woman walk past my lane and pick up a bag from the cashiers station that I was paying for. When I stopped her she began to cause a scene....you get the idea.

Great store alot of in store sales. Today I got 10lbs of Uncle Charles pork ribs for $2.99 a pound, 10lb box for $20. Can't be it. They also have this frozen breaded chicken and breaded shrimp that is awesome. It is a constant in our freezer.

They offer a good selection of food items. The store is organized well. They have a bakery and deli. The employees have always been nice to me. I guess if you're a crappy customer, you can expect crappy service. I usually shop here for quick shopping trips. I find their off-brand pricing similar to that of Aldis. The place is not dirty, but it is certainly older, i.e. the floor tiles are chipped or cracked in some areas. I like it here.

There is a strong difference between dirty and under repair. You can ignore many of the other comments.Since Foodland has remodled and restored the building, it has been a very clean enviroment. The staff are respectful and the store has a decent selection of staple foods.I have no complaints.

I would only recommend stopping here if you have no other place to go. The food selection is lack luster and most of it is near expiration.The customer service is also awful. Most of the employees are rude and unwilling to help. I've had an employee roll their eyes at me when I asked them a question. I've noticed the only exception is if they know you.Thus far, I've only had one particular male employee who is nice to me and other customers. He goes out of his way to help others and myself.I also find it odd that staff will stare at you as soon as you walk in and it's almost as if they find you a nuisance being there.

They don't pay their employees well like Aldi or GE up north, they're prices are higher than Aldi, selection isn't horrible but not great, the parking lot and exterior are newer but the interior which matters most is still crummy, it's an OK place if you need groceries in a pinch and Employees are very nice, honestly it's really just the people who run it who need to do better

This place is awesome. Good old fashioned American business!!!! You almost have to be a local to appreciate it. The prices are fair though and there are plenty of good deals if you look for them. Highly recommended.

Almost consistently poor. Your manager, Kenny Duda, does nothing except stand around with his long, greasy hair. Some checkers have poor attitudes.Most recent experience: July 17, 2014 you advertised "hens and chicks" potted plants. Of course, there were none in, and in speaking to the lady filling produce, there were none in the back of the store. She said, "Apparently, he forgot to order them".You owners of this store ought to be ashamed of yourselves. This is the only game in town for many, many elderly people. You have failed all of us. I only shop at your store when I need something small, or safe to eat like frozen foods. I shop at Giant Eagle; but, I used to be a loyal Foodland customer. Obviously, I am now a loyal Giant Eagle customer.

staff is terrible, rude and seems more concerned with socializing than working. one woman who works behind the lotto machine/cig counter is so rude i have no idea how she still has a job. i live less than 5 minutes away and avoid this place as much as possible.

This is my home town store, and while i do shop here pretty often, we go elsewhere for pepsi, coke, etc. Prices are sky-high on Pepsi and Coke products in Foodland and they always have been. We buy a lot of Pepsi products, so if its on my list, I go somewhere else
