This store is in the most deplorable condition of any store I have been inside. They were closed yesterday for what I assumed was to put inventory away because of an employee shortage but today there was not one aisle without boxes in them, piled to the ceiling. Stock laying on the floors of every aisle and nothing in many of the areas where they we advertised to be. Whoever is the manager of this store needs to resign in shame. I am sorry but if this was my store and my job I would not go home until it was in order. If the regional managers did not allow the overtime, I would resign but before I did that would go up the ladder one step higher and make it known why. There is no excuse for a store to be in that condition and in today's world I am surprised some crafty scam artist hasn't had an injury from the falling boxes that are stacked 12 feet high. I am ashamed for the community that someone from out of the area would see the condition of a chain store in my town. I promise you I have never done a review in my life but this was SHOCKING and I am disgusted. Call me and I'll get that store in proper condition in two weeks! Please any enterprising young folks in town, get down there, get to work and make us proud of the shops in town. This is sad to see...

This place is a mess, the photos on this webpage must be from the first day it opened. Filthy on the outside, garbage at the doors and doesn't get any better inside. One filthy mess. Watch the prices on the shelf, they get much higher at the register! NASTY

Almost every time I come here, they are always ‘stocking’ or just have boxes/obstacles in every other aisle, so it is hard to miniver around & find what you are looking for. Also the store is not very clean… Most employees are helpful & nice, others not so much!

There is always stacks of boxes everywhere, 6ft high, making it hard to get through the store. There is a section of the store that's used for just storing the shipment they got in. This section used to have clothes in it. On top of that it seems like the shelves are never even stocked, always missing lots of stuff. The employees are very nice though!

Workers are very nice & helpful but it's difficult to get through the store & to find things on the shelves due to products sitting in multiple aisles to be restocked for weeks! No one in this store is wearing masks. Not an employee or a shopper! Giant Eagle right up the road is encouraging masks & I have to say all of the workers & customers are wearing them. Covid & variants are here in town & it's very real!!!! Please protect yourself & others!!

As far as Dollar General is concerned, this one is fairly typical. The employees are personable and do their job without making you feel unwelcome, which is a jump up from most DG's. They need to work in recovery and stocking better. It's almost impossible to walk through the store without running into all the unpacked product waiting to be shelved. Its not super professional but it seems that most people have come to accept it as typical of these stores.

Isles totally blocked with piles of items.not organized ...piles huge safety hazard. Huge chunks of flooring missing .I've come across expired food quite often . UPDATE...nothing has changed

It's OK. Other Dollar Generals are better. This one is older. When I visited you couldn't walk down half the aisles because they were loaded with restocking items. It's small with tall shelves so it's dark and crowded. The floor also feels wobbly and bounces when you walk on it.

I was not totally happy with my experience there. The floor is falling apart, when I got to the check out I put my stuff on the belt to be checked out and then I put my cart back. While I was only walking 5 steps to take my cart back she went to take the next person in line while my stuff was still on the belt. I had to argue with her to prove to her then I was next in line. I am not sure if I am going to ever go back there.

Although prices are great the staff is rude and never want to help you. The store is always cluttered and dirty. It is the most disorganized place I have ever been in. It is poorly run and staffed. Such a shame because if they fixed many of their issues it would certainly be a great place to shop.

Monongahela Pennsylvania Dollar General has merchandise on the floors and in aisles, you need to watch you don't fall and I pray every time I see a elderly person I think to myself. God Bless them something needs done.

The floor of the store is filthy and in bad shape, not sure why in a professional corporate establishment that the manager/owner doesn't at least clean it once a week.

It's ok but you stand in line for a while unless they open another register. And it's always hot in there. Don't know about the rest of you but I like air conditioning and being comfortable when shopping.

Employees are super but the store is always cluttered and not because of employees but because corporate never gives enough hours to run the store properly. I know this because I use to manage one

The store is horrible! Boxs everywhere. The staff is rude.I was using my mobile coupons and it didn’t accept them. I tried to explain that to her but, she wouldn’t listen to me.Can hardly go around the store with a cart becuase of all the boxs everywhere.Can’t find nothing in the store.I wish I could give zero stars

Although my experience started out not too good with one of the younger cell Associates there an older lady came to the rescue and was very polite and got me what exactly what I was looking for so yes it is true older is wiser

Store was out of mostly everything. All the isles were blocked with carts that needed to bit stocked. Only two employees to do everything. Not a great shopping trip.

A huge mess it was advertised that the store had just been remodeled but it looked worse than ever...,merchandise everywhere completely blocking isles shelves were empty the floor was filthy and certainly not enough help to run a store

The guy who worked the cash register was very rude.He didn't acknowledge me or even say thank you until I had to say thank you have a good day to him.He was scary.But other than that the store had everything I needed.
