They absolutely butchered my dogs today. We’ve gone to them off and on over the past couple years with mixed results. Today my wife dropped them off. The worker asked how much she wanted trimmed and she explicitly said not short, just cleaned up. When we picked them up they were completely shaved. The worker stated their fur was matted, it was not. They were very overwhelmed today with the number of dogs and clearly just did whatever was easiest. There were patches they missed, it was uneven and they just look awful. We aren’t going back.Edit to add response to owner:Dogs were not matted. They are brushed and bathed at home regularly. Staff was overwhelmed and that was the best excuse. Be very wary of taking your pets here.

Friendly and accommodating staff. First time I ever took my pups (6 year old gsd and 4 year old Bernese mountain dog) to be groomed and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

I’ve had many positive experiences here in the past, but after my last visit I will not be returning or recommending this groomer. As soon as we got home from the last visit, my dogs eye was extremely irritated. I called the salon immediately and was assured that they don’t use any harsh chemicals and that they didn’t notice anything while in their care. But I was assured that if the issue persisted to the point of needing to see the vet, they would gladly pay the vet bill. This was on a late Friday afternoon and we were unable to see a vet until Monday. This location is closed on Mondays, but I left a voicemail to update them on the situation and asked them to please call me back. That message was never acknowledged.My fiancé physically went to the location the next afternoon (Tuesday) to address the issue. The staff was very polite and they assured him that they would let the owner know. The owner called my fiancé that afternoon and despite claiming that there was no record of the incident occurring, he assured us he would cover the vet bill. The vet confirmed the injury and a copy of the bill was provided. This was in October and there has been no follow up or reimbursement.The only acknowledgment was when my fiancé left his own review of the experience and was told he must’ve had the wrong store because his name wasn’t in the system. My name was in their system and had he ever followed up or tried to remedy the situation, he would have known that. The convenience of this place is great and so is the staff. The issue here is the owner and his clear inability to take criticism or accountability based on every negative review left on his business pages.

I love this place. I took my dog Tobby there for the first time and he was not as scared as he was with his other groomer that he had gone to for a while. They did his nails(filed) better. They groomed him how I wanted. They even brushed his teeth. They were pleasant and professional with us humans also. They sent him home with a free bandana on him. Plus the no appt needed walk-in service is such a great convenience. They made us all happy. If I could give them more stars I would. Try them and you will be pleasantly pleased.

I have taken my dog here for about 3 yrs now and I see people complaining about the amount of time they keep your dog, the time they have kept my dog is different every time but I’ve never had a problem with it and my old lady, Little, is always happy when I pick her up! The old groomer I used would take a very long time, every time and she hated it there, I would have to drag her into the building! I love barking beauties! They are always polite and accommodating and I feel like they genuinely care about every pet in their care.

Have been taking my dog to this groomer for a couple years now and generally had a good experience. Unfortunately a little over a month ago my dog incurred an injury on her eye while at this location. It was beat red, she could barely open it fully and it was very irritated. The manager on that day assured me that if it didn't get better on its own, and I had to take her to the vet, they would cover the cost. I waited 48 hours but ultimately had to take my dog to the vet. Upon request of them covering the bill, the owner was quite hesitant and even implied that the injury was not from the groomer. He said he had to take it up with his insurance, etc, and I never heard back. It's an unfortunate situation and I won't be going back.EDIT:In response to the short and careless response to my review:You are correct that my name isn't in your system because it was my fiance that always took our dog there and her name would be the one registered. My name would be the one on the vet bill that you ignored but promised to repay. The day of, I stopped in personally and explained this to the manager on duty, and also on the phone with the owner.I've also noticed a very similar situation/review from your Elizabeth location within the last 2 months. Eye injury, and owner slow to respond if at all.

It is difficult enough for me to make it home from work and to the groomers by 4 and when I called at 315 and they said I have till 4 to drop my dog off I get there at 350 and they won’t take him and this is the second time they have done this. I will never use these people again I will do it myself if I have to. Horrible, horrible customer service

Got Floki and Montgomery's nails trimmed this morning and the staff was amazing. Floki got her ears rubbed the whole time and, well, hounds kind of like having those big, floppy ears rubbed♥️🐾

Jackie in Monongahela was so wonderful to Ari. He's very difficult to groom, because of a bad experience with another groomer in the past. She did a fantastic job, and I'm very appreciative of her kindness and skill with him.

Walk ins are overlooked! Dropped dog off at 9am. Was told "it will be awhile" never thought 6 hours! And was NOT offered an appointment for a later time or date. When I called to check on my dog at noon, the employee was very annoyed and rude I even called. She told me there was 14 dogs before mine. Why wasn't I aware of that? The cut was fine, but they definitely do not cross check. You will have to cut long stray hairs and the dog was still damp at the time of pick up. For $62.00 and 6 hours later, I thought the dog would at least be dry.

dog always comes back clean, with a nice cut and trimmed nails, but they really don’t care how long they keep your pet. dog was dropped off before noon today, and was told they would be there “a while.” when we called to ask at 4ish, we were told it would still be a wait. finally got a call around 5:30 that we could pick up at 6, when they close. i understand with walk ins it’s a first-come first serve service. that being said, why was my small dog kept in a crate for 6+ hours? sorry but there’s no excusing this. i feel bad i left my pet there for so long. nothing against the people just really unhappy with this.

We went in and asked for just a nail trim and we got charged $72 for bathing we didn’t ask for. One of our pups has really long hair on his paws and they couldn’t even trim just that. We like to bathe our own dogs, which is why we’re really upset about this. I guess we should also just trim their nails then.To answer back to you, we actually did not even hear you ask if we wanted the same thing. We just said nail trim, and trimming their paws. And if I remember correctly, I didn’t ask for her to be deshedded last time either, just bathed and her nails trimmed. But just so there won’t be any more confusion, we will just not be returning. Thank you for your past services, but we will find some where else to get our pups groomed.

I just took my 3 month old Golden doodle to Candelore’s Barking Beauty in Monongahela, for a pup deluxe treatment today ! Amazing service !!!! They treated my Sofie as a lil princess! Pricing and walk in appointments are great but the women working here are amazing! Mabel has never looked better and was neat and trimmed up before her spay which was a concern of mine since she wouldn't be able to clean herself for a week after and won't be groomed for a few more weeks. Amazing job. Will definitely be back.

These guys are great!!! Everyone is always so nice, so pleasant and always ready to take the next pet on. I have taken my 3 weimaraners there several times as well as 1 of my cats. My guys are all very happy and beautiful when they're all done. These guys really do very nice work here. 2 of my dogs just recently got "skunked" so I called down prior to taking them just to check to see if ok so the store got the "stuff" prepared, treated my dogs and wow, they really came back to me smelling very clean and fresh, not "skunked" at all! I was honestly very impressed as well as relieved but seriously they took the extra time to do what they had to and it was greatly appreciated. This is a great store! I'll continue to be a happy customer.

I took a "Meowing Meanie" here for a de-skunking. The place is very nice as are the employees. I could tell they genuinely love animals and were also up for the challenge of de-skunking a cat. As you can imagine it's not the most enjoyable thing to do but the groomer handled it with grace and professionalism. She also complimented the cat saying she liked him and that he was well behaved. Great atmosphere, affordable prices, and if you are waiting there is a fantastic food place right next door. I highly recommend Candelore's.

They do a great job. Only complaint is the time. It's not busy, they say 2 hours and 3 hours later it's another 20 minutes. Do they put dogs ahead of mine? Otherwise I really like them.

Great place to get your fur baby a good grooming. I take my little Shih Tzu there and he always come out smelling and looking amazing compared to the mop on four legs that he goes in looking like 😂 😆. Definitely recommend all the time to my friends in the area when they ask where he gets groomed at. Thank y’all!

I have never personally used their services, but I have talked to lots of people who have used their service and they were all extremely happy. I am at Two and a Fry a lot and I see lots of satisfied pets and their owners all the time.

I started taking my Schnauzer to their location in Elizabeth when I adopted her. It was a bit out of my way but they were recommended to me and they had really good reviews. I was not disappointed! The staff was great and very friendly. Once Merribelle passed, I got a little Pomeranian. I started taking her there because of the staff and because I trusted them to groom her properly. They did a GREAT job and I love that they give them cute little bandanas. I took Berri to their Monongahela location when it opened because my parents live there. I was pleased because I walked in and the woman who groomed Berri in Elizabeth was there and knew Berri. She remembered her and knew how to groom her. I love it. That shows that they care. Berri is a shy pup and can get seperation anxiety but when I went back to get her after dropping her off, she didn't even seem to notice me. She seemed to really like the girls that worked there.
