The store had some issues with WIC at various times, cashiers have been excellent however. If you need anything, it's local to Monessen but higher priced on many store items, compared to other stores.

Even though I don't live in Monessen, this is my favorite grocery store. I am disabled, the parking lot is flat, which helps a lot. They have a little bit of everything in the store and it's small enough for me to navigate. Their hot deli food is good, best fried chicken in the valley. Their cold deli meats, cheeses and sides are great, always fresh. Good prices on uncooked meat. The only thing that needs a little help is the green grocer section. If you buy lettuce, cabbage, spinach, look it over good, sometimes it is not so fresh. Also check bagged salads for expiration dates. The employees are friendly and accommodating, I enjoy talking with them as most have a very nice attitude. I was sorry to see the self checkouts in there. Those used to be someone's job. I do like the store and will continue to shop there often as long as a person is at the register.

They are constantly restocking. Lots of items that other stores don't have. The renovated deli area is great. Good quality fresh meat and poultry. They also have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Love the quick on and out experience of this Foodland. Sometimes I feel like there's always that one thing I need or want that they won't have but I usually chalk that up to my lack of preparation for things.

Overall I like the store. Always clean, organized, and well stocked. Everything seems to be under control, except for some of the deli workers. When you have a special request at the deli, some of the workers (definitely not all of them) get an attitude and just continue to do what they want. Overall everyone else in the store is pleasant and accommodating.

Great place to go in Monessen for groceries. Prices are ok. No crowds like big chain stores. If you just want to be in and out quick this is great stop.

The staff is helpful, kind and respectfully friendly. I enjoy dropping in to pick up a few things. The place has recently had some upgrades, which is nice. Their selections are improving, thou I do hope they start getting more keto friendly stuff. Such as ghee butter, or keto ice cream. Other than that it's a wonderful place to shop and I really enjoy going there.

This is a smaller grocery store, so the selection isn't what you are going to find at a big supermarket, but still pretty good. Very friendly staff!

Love going to this grocery location. They have a huuuuuuge selection of food. A better variety then even the giant eagle which is twice the size of this store. What’s awesome too is the workers here from the deli to the stockers, to the cashiers are super friendly!

If you can stand the smell of vomit (seems like someone is always puking in there), not so pleasant staff, over priced items, then this isn't to bad a place to grab a quick bite while your attending the school.The pizza rolls aren't to bad.

Was shopping with my mom, and the lady at the hot foods was so helpful and nice. The cashier who rung me up was also very nice and patient with me, since I was ringing up several different orders..

Over priced and doesn't sell a lot of different products. I'd rather drive farther to pay less and be able to get everything I need but some nights it is nice to get the one or two things I forgot and need in order to make dinner. Staff at the deli is always incredibly helpful and friendly

My experience at the store was nice. Did not know anybody there. Had only gone to pick a few items that were on sale. Everybody was nice, helpful and pleasant

Overpriced and poorly run. I've had several issues with rude or inattentive employees. (The exceptions would be the deli and the meat department. Those folks are always helpful and friendly.) After the latest incident I will never shop there again.

very rarely can go full grocery shopping here. The selection could be better, sometimes the food in the freezer section tastes funny/freezer burned, small selection of fresh seafood

They had everything I was looking for in stock 2 days before Thanksgiving. I just found out yesterday that I now have to prepare dinner and had nothing bought. I found everything I was looking for. They had plenty of turkeys and hams left. The store was also very clean, and staff was very friendly.

The first thing I check upon entering a grocery store is cleanliness. That is what you'll notice at this store. Displays are neat, and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of my favorite stores in the Valley.
