Going into the store to ask for the bathroom key and the newbie there gets an attitude with my wife by telling her that she needs to make a purchase in order to get the key. Now we have been going to this store for years an someone new has to make up there own rules to make themselves feel like they are important then anyone else who walks through the doors. Either then this great professional workers an great products. But this spoiled apple has to ruin for others.

It is so hot in this store right now, I won't shop there anymore. I feel bad for the employees. It's suffocating in there. Fix the air conditioning!!

I've been going to this store for over a decade multiple times a week. And most of the employees are ignorant as ever. Always huff and puff if you have a lot of items at checkout, they get attitudes if you ask them a question, and never are they in a good mood. There's maybe a few employees who are good customer service type of people, and the rest of them- shouldn't work with the public. I understand having a bad day once in a while, but its EVERYTIME I go there. I can look past the absolute mess and unorganized products everywhere, I can look past the fact that they are ALWAYS out of what your looking for, or the fact that the freezers haven't worked in MONTHS. But, the employees attitudes towards their customers, makes me and the rest of my family want to find some place else to shop.

Usually has what I'm looking for, the store is clean but unfortunately I've gotten expired product here 3 different times. The sparkling water I got had no fizz I looked at the date it expired in 2018!! Just check dates before purchasing

I try not to use this particular dollar general if I can avoid it because this one is always crowded at the checkout to the point that there is nowhere for you to stand or for you to exit the store without bumping into several people. The way the checkouts are situated in the store causes it to be that way.

Bad awful experience today at Dollar General Monessen. Very irritating, never usually happens. Most cashiers/clerks, at any DG, are usually great, helful, etc. This cashier...no business being one. Seems like she hates her job. Doesn't KNOW how either, apparently...and blamed me.

The one in monessen looks nothing like the 9ne in the picture some employees are lazy and always on cell phone cant even call them they never answer the phone I seen them totally ignore a customer because they were on their phones its really messy store

One the the employees, a young male, is ALWAYS so helpful in finding what I want. Polite, Friendly, funny and a good sales representative as well.

The store is a mess and is in disarray. U go down an isle and there are carts that have items that need to be sto led and they just sit there. Then if you ask for item your told they are all out when u see it sitting on carts. Most unorganized store.

The store was disgusting! If I was not in the area picking of food and did not need something from Dollar General ... There is no way I would of just shopped in this particular store. It was dirty, cluttered, disorganized and the list goes on. I literally grabbed the one thing I needed most and ran out of the store. Not to mention the area the store is in is not the best.

Monessen Dollar General is fun, well managed store. I love taking my kids with me to the Monessen Dollar General. The Dollar General team in Monessen are friendly and really do "keep it real and keep it simple".

I love Dollar General although their prices are starting to get higher then Walmart and places like that! But when they have sales they are well worth it!

Got what ya need, some of the staff go out of their way to help you, straight up will drop what they're doing. Others just seem like you're bothering them, it's luck of the draw really!

Store always seems so cluttered and disorganized. It's very hard to find certain items. Other than that, everything else is average compared to other Dollar Generals I have visited.

If you need anything for a picnic....silverware...this is the place. Also for Halloween we get the best price on full size candy bars here.

I like the new dollar store is bigger the only thing is whoever designed it should have designed it so you could come in at from behind it to from the parking lot not just from the main road.
