Unlike the Walmarts I have been to in Chippewa and New Castle, this Walmart in Monaca was not up to standard. The store was not clean, the staff was not friendly and seemed to be wrapped up in their own issues and not concerned about the customer at all. I was one of two persons at the deli counter. The person ahead of me got 1 item, I got two. It took a little over 20 minutes for this to happen. The staff there were moving slowly stopping several times to discuss non work matters. A manager even came behind the counter, observed what was going on and did nothing except text message on his smartphone. This is just one example of the low level of service received. If I never return to this particular Walmart, it will be too soon.

Five associates over the span of 39 minutes couldn’t even get us help getting a simple $5.59 bottle of body spray. Just standing there pressing the “ask associate for help” button over and over while associates just stare at us, shrugging their shoulders they would give us an answer “umm I don’t have a key”. THEN GO FIND IT!!!!!! DO YOUR JOB AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEE. How are you gonna lock up $5 body spray but then have $30 face cream sitting out in the open on a shelf? Zero customer service. I’ve worked retail for 12 years and this was by far the saddest store to date. Completely inept humans being paid to stand and stare. WHAT THE ACTUAL F. Then cashiers won’t turn on their light, they just expect you to know which lane is open. Even though there are employees at every other register just standing there. Not a word said, just glares and silence. Management needs to be fired for training these people to be completely incompetent.

Honestly, how can the shelves be bare with all the associates working on countless carts of product blocking everyaisle? Despise this store lately. Looks like an enormous dollar general store. Cluttered, dirty, and unfriendly employees. Every associate I encountered looked absolutely miserable.

Came in for 5 gallon water jugs. Originally returned my empty jugs to the Walmart in moon but the return bin is Always out of tickets and there are never either refills or the few full jugs are extremely dirty. Even tho I returned my empties at Walmart in Moon I figured any Walmart would honor it but one of the workers told me "no because it takes it from the inventory in this store so we can't honor it"

If I could have left 0 stars I would. Don’t lock up the formula if no one is even going to show up to unlock it when you press the button for assistance. Grocery shopping is already a pain enough for moms and that just adds unnecessary time and stress. I just had to go into a different store just for formula because no one could unlock the case. The most ghetto Walmart on this side of the Mississippi.

Ordered curbside pick up twice and had to wait over an hour both times. Orders were literally under 5 items both times. I have never really had a problem when going inside of the store. Hit or miss on whether they have the items I want, but that is how every store is right now.

U guys need friendlier cashiers in this location everyone is so crabby and rude no matter wat area ur in there is not 1 nice person here I will be take. My business to the Baden Walmart the people there are very friendly and the store is much cleaner then this one

Found exactly what I was looking for, and more importantly, there was a cashier who was not only available, but she was nice, smiling, and seemed to genuinely like her job. That's rare for Walmart associates anymore.

I went to this Walmart today 12/04/2023 and there were expired bagels FROM OCTOBER! How does this happen? It was in the back by the eggs. I’m just grossed out. I picked a pack up and saw mold and checked the date and it was October 30, 2023. I told someone, but she didn’t seem to even care to look at the rest. Which were in fact also expired.

Don’t come here to get your formula. They have it locked up and it takes 4 customers, 2 crying children, and 3 store employees to even figure out where the keys to the case are because the managers don’t answer the call on the walkie talkies. By the time we get formula the kids waiting are all awake from their naps and screaming. If they weren’t all outside smoking who knows what, We’d be giving a 5 star. But because of the 45 minute wait it’s gonna be a 1 star from me chief! Thanks for having the worst managers possible Walmart.

We spent 30 minutes shopping, waited on line, rang up and bagged our order only to find out they do not take ApplePay. Who in 2024 doesn't take Apple Pay? Answer Wal-Mart.

I called trying to get ahold of somewhere here trying to find out if they give out unused boxes since I heard they’re one of the stores the apparently “used” to do this. But, since nobody answers their phoned(at LOCATIONS) had to drive there to find out that that they don’t anymore.The least they could do is answer their phones and save people a trip instead of just letting it ring indefinitely.

Cashiers were very kind and always had a smile, but some of the other workers were less so. Store was messy, but to be expected. Other customers were honestly the worst part of the entire experience

This location has the worst deli workers ever.I always try to get my cold cuts in the am after they are done setting up for the day and they will literally turn their back so they “can’t see you” until you get fed up after waiting 10-15 minutes of being ignored and you walk away and they laugh.If you want cold cuts, go to milk house meats or giant eagle. Quit giving this sad excuse of a store your business

It's Walmart. Yay. Sales n stuff. Can find anything you want here. Appliances and electronic very cheap. Hair dyers, curling iron, toaster oven, etc. All under $20. Clothes nice. The cheaper shirts attract a lot of lint and pet hair. Do not have hoodies (even light ones) in summer.

I went in there to shop. While shopping I saw a bed in a box on a shelf marked as 29.95. I have photographic proof. Now walmart corporate policy states if an item is on a shelf above a price whether correct or incorrect that they ”walmart” must sell it for said price. This is company policy. I called corporate and they assured me this was the case and that they would have the store manager reach out to me. No such phone call has been sent to me. I will be back in that store tomorrow and will be demanding the store manager

Part of the store is great, part of it is unbearable. I’ve noticed the food side is great never had issues employees are nice. However the personal shoppers are mean! I had one cut in front me in the deli while I was waiting and she tried to start a argument with the lady behind the counter, they push these blue carts right in front of everything and don’t move! I took my personal time to come in and shop and can’t ever get what I want because you ask one to move and they all have ear buds, they can’t hear you!

I only use Walmart when the service I need is not available anywhere else. Came in this morning to pick up a money order and the customer service counter for some reason doesn't open until 8. Do you think this is on the website? Nope! You had one job. You blew it. This is why I avoid doing business with them.
