Well it’s a chain hardware store so why would I except perfection lol. Their a huge chain that has tons of employees but you can’t find one when you need one. They have several self checkouts and one person ( seems like they wanna be like Walmart) they do have a good selection of appliances and hardware. Shop for convenience.

We have a mower we bought in cranberry. It's no good at all, bad design, bag falls off, don't hold grass. Well anyways the lady working at the return desk would not let us take it back? At first she said we couldnt take it back. Then she said we had to take it to cranberry where we originally purchased it. Well we took it back to cranberry and they gave us our money with no issue. Cranberry told us to call and file a complaint. Because we just had to drive 40 minutes almost out of the way. We live down in freedom. Just wondering why she wouldn't let us take it back!

I dont even want to give one star.Lowes third party delivery team is HORRIBLE. I been waiting for 4 days to have my washer/ dryer delivered. Always an excuse on their end. I didn't answer the phone when they called so they didn't come. I had a 4 hour window for my delivery someone was here EVERY time. Why not knock on my door. POOR BUSINESS!!

Chippewa Lowes is great. They didn't have what we were looking for but the older sweet man who helped us was the best. He showed me why we couldn't find what we were looking for but that Robinson had 2 of the item. We called Robinson and they did have the two but at $60 more than website has it listed at. We informed them we had the picture of the item that included the price. They said they wouldn't price match their own company web site. That each store had its own pricing. REALLY? Between that and we have heard that military discount no longer applies to appliances, electronics, wood and building products and many more things, (seems like screws and the like are it) guess we won't be shopping there anymore. The drive to Menards is worth the trip.

Needed something from plumbing and it was just one employee to help with what I needed and he was out to lunch..Seen some employees not doing what they needed to do..If I was to work there I won’t be working hard just like them..payed for nothing..

I hav been fittin to find me a wheel and da axle to work my hubcap garage. The best I could find here was a twef food led pipe wit a brushsteel thingamajig that I can spin with my hands. Dang thin slipped out of my hand and smacked some hula hop eyed chicken neck upside da head because of chicken greese. On way out Some jive turkey had a real nice catatonic converter on his truck though.

Employees are always very helpful and friendly. I was in a super rush today, and if it weren't for the incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful employees, I never would have been able to find what I needed. I ended up being in and out in under 10 minutes! Thank you, and keep up the exceptional work everyone!

I don't mind self checkouts but I'm not going to wait in line to check myself out. Either open enough so there is no wait or have a cashier line for the people who don't know how to use them and hold everyone else up. I will never wait in a line at the self checkout especially when you have any entire bank of them blocked off. Walked out and purchased from amazon.

At this time 3 stars. Customer Service could improve. The Store could use some management improvements leading to a well knowledgeable staff willing to help each customer leading them in the right direction. Past couple of time I had a couple staff help in the directions, well seasoned, they had name tags but I cannot remember the name. The store is in a transition so without signs or maps of the changes I rate 3 stars at this time.

Be careful when purchasing and having Lowe's Monaca, PA install your fence. Try your hardest to find a more trustworthy company first.We purchased material and installation at Lowe's Monaca for our backyard fence on our recently purchased house. They came out, surveyed the lot and made a material list along with giving the overall cost of the material and install. We could not move in for over 2 months because they could not install the fence so we can contain our three dogs. We finally had the fence put in 3 months after purchase and then found out they had charged us for too much material. This in turn, means they also charged us for too much labor. The material (pictured) was all extra and returned BUT sat in our yard for 32 days. The initial cost of the fencing product was $2,327.29 and the Lowe's contractor returned $591.56 worth of material. 25% of the material we were quote was returned. The labor was quoted at $5,112.71 and my wife and I have talked to Lowe's Monaca fencing rep, Lowe's customer service, Lowe's manager and they refuse to give us a credit for the 25% less work the installer did (about $1,278.00).Do not use Lowe's Monaca for any installation. They are a bunch of used car salesmen who only want to sell you the product but not do anything after.

I have ordered a home delivery from Lowe’s now 3 times, and not one time has it arrived on time. We are building a house and not living at the property (clearly) so we plan around the delivery window to make the 45 minute drive to the house. We also schedule time off work around the delivery window.The first order they left it in my driveway without even a text or call or update on the app. It was 4 hours early and I wasn’t there. We only found out it was there when we arrived for our selected time slot.The second time my delivery window was 12-4 and they arrived at 8 am, they called me and said they were there and I told them to just drop it off because again, we are 45 minutes away and they wouldn’t. They wouldn’t leave it even though we were on route and gave them permission to. The last guy left it with no signature, why couldn’t he? I said you are 4 hours early, I am not there. They hung up on me. Lowes rescheduled my delivery for one week away then, and I had to schedule ANOTHER day off to sit and wait for it to arrive.The 3rd time, and final time (today) I selected a time window between 8-12. We took the day off to be there early since they seem to show up early.We were at the property at 730 am just in case. 12 pm rolls around and no update on the app, the call center for customer service has a 1 hour wait time. My app still shows in “progress” and not “out for delivery.” When I do get to customer service, they state they had a “truck break down” and they don’t know what time this afternoon my delivery is coming. But they say it’s coming today.Why didn’t anyone call me? Why was I not informed that the delivery was behind? If a truck breaks down, maybe inform your customers? It seems like an “easy out” instead of just saying they have unreliable drivers who can’t stick to a schedule.What is the purpose of offering a DELIVERY WINDOW IF IT WILL NEVER BE MET. I only shopped at Lowe’s for the Military Discount on top of current sales, but I would rather pay more at this point to have consistent, reliable service.

2023- Well I’ll never be back. All self checkout,except down at the lumber /contractor desk. Were there more employees on the floor to replace the clerks? NOPE2019 - As a customer for many years the product selection is great. BUTThe customer service is horrendous. Specifically unless you're buying certain products such as paint , an Appliance, blinds, lighting fixtures or kitchen cabinets, it is very frustrating to get assistance locating products or locate an employee to ask a question about products.I feel that even if I come in the store at 8 p.m. looking for some repair parts, I should be able to locate an employee and ask a question without tons of effort. In the evening all the employees are there to stock product. So I would recommend knowing go to the store in the evening and if there's another location of a hardware store near you go there and not here

Very few employees on the floor to help customers. The ones that are are scrambling around scanning and restocking. They gladly and respectfully help you but look exhausted I feel bad for them. All the checkout lines were closed forcing customers to use self-checkout. This is usually the case for this particular store. I suggest you take the drive to their Newcastle store. Much better customer service there

This is by far one of the biggest Lowes I've ever seen. It's neat and clean. Fully accessible. The employees are wonderful. The prices are very fair and they have most everything you see online in stock.Highly recommend you visit the store.

We bought a refrigerator on Thursday. We were told it would be delivered the next day, Friday. The next day we wait, never came. We got a call at the end of the day saying it would be delivered on Monday.Monday comes and goes, no call, no fridge. So we call the store and we are told it would be deliver the next day.Next day came and went, no fridge, not even a call. So we call, AGAIN! This happened now a total of 5 times!!We talked to store managers. We talked to people at the ware house! We STILL don’t have our fridge!Today, Friday, we are told it will be deliver tomorrow which is the weekend. So if it doesn’t come tomorrow we probably won’t have anyone to call because it’s the weekend.Nobody takes accountability to get this situation fixed. They just keep passing us off to other people as they say they personally can’t do anything about it.I EILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!Ok so I called the number you gave me and it takes me to the store number I call 50 times already! It would be nice to get a call from a manager, somebody who can do something.(Four-1-two, 6-nine-9, nine, 4, five, 4)I will let you guys know if I ever get a response, and when/ if I get the fridge I paid for.

After spending a couple hours on the road searching for a place where I could find plywood in the size I needed for a personal project, Google Maps pointed me to this place. And at the time, it seemed like a good idea; after all, Lowe's is known to carry a substantial selection of plywood, and the site specifically advertises that they will cut wood for you.After taking some time to select the right plywood and finding someone who could assist me, I took the wood to the cutting station. When someone showed up (two other customers had lined up behind me as I was waiting), I told him the size I was looking to get it cut into. He refused and rudely told me that they only cut wood to fit into cars, not "some weird-size planks." At which point I just told him "Okay," put the plywood away, and left.The plywood was of good quality and the person who said she'd call someone to the cutting center was quite courteous, hence two stars instead of one, but the whole experience left a very poor impression on me. It is fine if specific cuts can't be done, but there is no need to throw in a backhanded insult on top of it. If this interaction is any indication of Lowe's attitude towards its less-than-contractor customers, I can't in good faith recommend them over any of their nearby competitors.

Purchased a fence for our back yard in June. Was told delivery was going to be in early July which then turned into middle of July then early August. Finally delivered and was supposed to be installed that day and we received a call at 8:02 am stating they would not be there to install. This whole ordeal has been a massive headache and has prevented us from moving into our new home because we need a fenced in yard for 5 dogs. It honestly would have been worth the extra $1,000 to hire a fencing company. Very disappointed in Lowe’s.

Went to purchase a utility trailer. The man helping me was great. Then got sent to “their notary” called MJ’s in Rochester. Went there they weren’t open even though I was told they were open at 10:30 a.m. Waited there until 11 a.m. still nothing. I called multiple times and nothing. I went to another notary and they couldn’t do it. I called Lowe’s and they sent me to another place, once again couldn’t do it. I brought the paperwork back and had them refund me on the trailer. The ladies at customer service were very nice. However, why use a notary that isn’t there during the hours they say they will be. I spent 3 hours trying to get this trailer. Absolutely worst experience. Will not be going back to Lowe’s or MJ’s ever again.

I hate giving negative reviews but my experience with their appliance department has been a nightmare. First I ordered a smart Samsung washer and dryer in store in champagne. The in store rep told me it could be delivered the next day; I come to find out it wasn’t going to be delivered for another week. Delivery day comes and they ordered a white washer and a champagne dryer (doesn’t make any sense.) I said ok, deliver them because I need a washer and dryer and the manager credited 20% off the wrong washer color. Then they are delivered and I go to use the washer, works great but then putting my wet clothes in the dryer it powers up but the drum doesn’t turn. I call back today and let them know and they only thing they can do is pick up the dryer TWO days from now and have to wait to reorder the dryer which is going to put me out another week probably. So frustrated

We visited this location during the president's day appliance sale. There were no employees staffed in the appliance department. After about 30 minutes and a page for help, we tracked down an employee from another department. We questioned the availability of a $2999 refrigerator that the website said was available for same day pickup. We drove over 40 miles specifically because it was listed in stock. We tried calling before we drove all that way and went through the automated system which was no help to confirm availability. We called again and bypassed the automated service to try to speak to an actual person but no one answered. Additionally, we were going to purchase a dishwasher at the same time. But that too was not stocked. I can't believe the ineptitude of the staffing and service at this Lowe's.

I bought a refrigerator with a five year warranty. I bought a dishwasher with a five year warranty, paid for installment the two guys that brought the refrigerator refused to take my other refrigerator to my basement. Refused to tell me their name and very rude to me then refuse to bring my new refrigerator in my house and I’m about to get siding from Lowe’s. really the worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Not happy at all!! I didn’t even want to give you one star, but I had to!! NEVER AGAIN!

DO NOT PURCHASE MAJOR APPLIANCES FROM LOWES OR THIS STORE. I purchased a refrigerator which stopped working. The manufacturer told me to contact Lowes which I did and was told someone would reach out to assist me. No one did. Lowes clearly does not stand behind the products they sell. I will never make a large purchase at Lowes again and will be closing my Lowes credit account and never stepping foot in this store again.
