The staff and management are truly one of a kind. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best shopping experience possible..The gluten free tuna melt was the best I've ever had.

Update 2/9/24: I used to love this place. However, the last few times I have gone there, I have been extremely disappointed. A few months ago I bought a pricey lemon pound cake (which I've had and loved before) and it was stale and dry. Today I decided to give them another shot and the latte I ordered was barely lukewarm. Spending $5+ on a poorly made latte is disappointing. The quality has really gone down. Makes me sad. The staff are all still really friendly though.Original Post: This place is the best! Has a nice variety and the staff are all really friendly.

I absolutely adore this place. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and it’s so convenient to walk across our little neighborhood to pick up a couple of high quality grocery items. Places like this are what makes Millvale so great.

Please never leave!Part of the reason I'm moving to Millvale from the city, Builds a community and all the products are amazing! Also great food/coffee. Would just recommend some more seating to make it more of a "third place", and to just be open alittle later on Fri/Sat.

Great to have a little grocery store with a nice selection of high quality, local products. Pitaland hummus and pita breads, nice selection of sandwiches made fresh. Definitely worth stopping in.

What a nice surprise to find a place where you can buy home cooked meals that are healthy. I was really impressed with the entire store and the staff in general.

Staff is super friendly! I usually always get a cup of coffee on my way to work. Coffee is amazing. Better than gas station coffee. Sometimes I don’t feel like making coffee so there’s that. Then sometimes I usually get the grab and go foods that are already ready to eat for lunch sometimes and always delicious! I love my local market.

This place is lovely and friendly. I've lived in Millvale since 2020, and the lack of a place within walking distance to grab groceries was heavy. I was SO happy when this market opened! They have fresh produce staples like tomatoes, apples, and garlic, as well as a plethora of gluten-free or dairy-free options for those folks who need those products. This is really nice because to get food like that you need to travel either to Market District or Whole Foods, both of which are a bit inaccessible unless you have a car. This little grocery store filled that gap that Millvale had, so I'm very pleased.Everything about it is a five-star experience, so I'd like to explain why I dropped a star; it's the prices. Some of the pre-made food options are pretty expensive. I saw a 1-serving portion of pasta for $8-10, which is a bit much. I know that the Millvale Market sources from local businesses, and since they aren't subsidized or supported by massive corporations, they have to price themselves appropriately (for instance, a BigMac would cost $16-19 without government subsidies!).I know people in Millvale are probably accustomed to the prices they see in the local ShopNSave, which are admittedly a lot lower. Millvale Market is playing to a younger crowd who likes organic food and local businesses, so yes, it is a bit more expensive. The food is tasty and the products are quality, though, and the staff is friendly and passionate- so I am happy to pay the premium and make sure they're successful. This niche needed to be filled quite desperately, and I'd much prefer to get a locally-made $4 (delicious) brownie than a lottery ticket or two cheap sodas.Wishing them success! I know I'll keep coming (especially for those brownies).

So good to find a local grocery store with local products, quality products and unique products you don’t find in the processed food aisles of a Giant Eagle.Worth the drive here, and across the street? A REAL French bakery! The surprises you find in metro Pittsburgh! 🙂

I live nearby and finally had the time to walk over and see what they have. I had made the assumption they would have some stuff but a small grocery like that couldn't have a large selection of anything. How wrong I was. There was everything you'd expect from the big stores: bread, milk, eggs, cheese, canned goods, dry goods, and most shockingly fresh produce. There were shelves of healthy looking spaghetti squash and sweet peppers as well as onions and garlic. The freezer section even had frozen meats from local butchers. What's more is I made a selection of things I could make a meal of for the next week and it cost about the same as it would if I went to the larger store. This is now my go to grocery for weekly essentials. If you live in Millvale this place should be your grocery store now as well.

Fresh produce. Dairy and refrigerated options available. Fresh coffee, made to order sandwiches, pastries and bakery items made daily. Nice little corner store. Accepts EBT/SNAP.

Stopped in for a case of water and I'm a bit confused from all the reviews. The prices I saw were 50-75% more than an average grocery store and there was very little to select from. More like an expensive convenience store, but I'm glad people seem to like it (based on all the positive reviews).

This place is awesome. The owner is fantastic ball of energy and makes delicious grub and super friendly. Everyone who works there is actually. It has a very selective selection but totally suits our needs. Love it. Excited to watch it grow.

Probably the best grocery in the entire Pittsburgh area. Exactly what you need at reasonable prices. Can’t think of anything better than walking or biking to get fresh local groceries a few times a week. Never going to the big box groceries again.

Pretty solid, about what i expected. I like supporting local and they have plenty of local products here. Some items are more reasonably priced than others; Cant afford to frequent here often but will be a nice place to treat myself to here and there.
