Loved Grist House. Plenty of space for the busy Sunday crowd that they had. Super dog and family friendly. Beer was stellar. Had a prickly pear and pineapple sour. As a sour lover, I had nothing like it before and was thoroughly impressed. Will 100% be back and would/will recommend to anyone.

This place is awesome! Super fun staff and incredible beer. Had some brought down as well and it was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting here, my favorite was the paddle? Cherry pie beer with Graham cracker crust.Lora of outdoor seating. Music was good.

They have a number of beers on draught. Heavy on the IPAs and sours. Quiet a large outdoor space with plenty of places to sit, stand or lean. Food trucks parked on the street with a couple to choose from. They have some house cocktails for your liking also (we stuck with the beer). There on a Saturday afternoon in October and it was quite busy.

As a sour girly and a new move to Millvale, I am so happy about this place! They always have a wonderful sour on tap, fire pits and liveliness. Have had their canned beers at many establishments so I’m glad to live close by now!

Been going to Grist House for a long time now, they have really turned this into a beautiful spot. Large outside patio with lots of outdoor seating, and bar seating inside the original building and now the newly built taproom. Great beer and always a good variety of styles. On weekends they will have 2-3 different food trucks available if you're looking to grab some food with your beverage. They put on some pretty rad events throughout the year so check up on their social media.

What an incredible experience on a perfect day! Sunday, September 11, 2016 enjoying terrific beer in a nice open establishment with outstanding weather. It just so happened to be my birthday, even though I brought my best friend here for the weekend for his milestone birthday. Excellent people, excellent product, one of the best in Pittsburgh. Keep up the good work. I will return one day.

This is a pretty awesome spot. The whole town seems like a cool area. They have several different bars and a good amount of TVs. We came for the Penn State watch party which didn't disappoint. The lines for beer can get REALLY long tho, as well as the bathrooms. They have a lot of IPA and sours for options. Most were solid beers. No food, just food truck. We won't hesitate to return... #weare

Love the beer 🍺, ambiance and yummy food trucks + dog friendly is always a plus in our book!!! Highly recommend every time we go we have a better time than the last! Food truck rotation has been great this summer. We love the new building set up. Adds so much room. Also love that they have mocktails now besides just pop.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy. Had to stand at a barrel for a while which was not ideal, but the beer and overall atmosphere was nice. Good selection of sours and IPAs. Bring your own food or get it from the food truck

THE BEST IPA beer(s) in the world is in Millvale at the Grist House Craft Brewery. I love the staff, the food trucks, the ambiance, the patrons, the open mics, the location... I love everyone and everything at this place.

This place is so cute & SUPER DOG FRIENDLY! We love Grist House beers so we figured we’d check out their brewery. We brought our 2 huskies with us since it was a nice day out and OMG this will be a regular spot for us this spring/summer! Everyone there was so nice from the staff to the other patrons. There was plenty of other dogs so if your pup doesn’t do well with others this probably isn’t the place for them. There is a bar, inside tables, outside tables and standing room plus a little fire pit area. It does get pretty crowded so finding a table/seat may be a challenge at times, but there is always standing room. They don’t have a kitchen, but they have food trucks that come and post up outside the brewery. 10/10 would recommend making a stop here if you like beer & dogs!

Very crowded but their beer was pretty good. Dog friendly. Dogs everywhere! Very loud and hard to get service. I wouldn't take a date here or anyone you'd like to have a conversation with. Elbow to elbow crowd and very loud. No food besides food trucks that I saw. Serving beer in solo cups because they couldn't keep up with orders and clean their glassware. 30 minute wait for a beer. 3.7/5

Always packed but always worth it. They have a great lineup of food trucks coming in and I haven't had a beer that is a miss. Some great summer ales on my most recent trip. Bold and unique compared to other places. Great staff. Busy but you don't wait long.

Went with hubby and a friend for some drinks. We had an amazing time. There is a nice outdoor seating with fires so you can stay nice warm and cozy. There was a couple with a baby there which i thought was strange but whatever.....but anyway the drinks are reasonably prices and you can see everything right there in front of you. Pretty cool place to visit.

We love it here! definitely our favorite brewery in Pittsburgh - usually a good selection of hazys/NEs, stouts, and sours. All tasty. Great outdoor space with fire pits to keep warm. Dog and kid friendly.

Pretty great outdoor spot but we were lucky enough to get bar stools. Beers were really good and so was service. I enjoyed the kaboom candy draft. They have food trucks on site but we didn’t get anything from there.

Grist House consistently has a few good beers to choose from. I've never had a bad beer. We also like it because we can easily bike here from the Shadyside area.

If you’re a beer lover, this place is a must-visit for you. However, make sure to arrived in advance, in special during the weekends. It’s hard to find parking around the area and also hard to find a place to seat with your friends or family during busy times. It’s is kid and dog friendly.

Very cool venue. They have an outdoor and indoor bar and are renovating another part. I think it's gonna be great when it's done. Dog-friendly. Penn Stater friendly. Great beer. Staff was wicked kind. No food but a food truck. Parking wasn't the best but still overall I'm going back 👍👍👍

I'm a girl who loves sour beers that slap. These beers slap. This is the coolest hangout place that regularly has food trucks and fires going when it's cold. Plus they've just expanded and added more. And you can always get yourself some cans to go. Love the Grist houseP.s. the frosted silence is my new favorite

Probably my favorite place to grab a beer in the city. They have a large outdoor area where you can relax and drink and the food trucks they have on site are great! Their beer is some of the best as well. When we come back to Pittsburgh, I'll make sure to visit Grist House again!

Fantastic beer and great selection. Flights available which is nice - although not all beers are available for flights. Dog friendly which is a plus! Parking, however, is brutal. We visited in the middle of a BBQ cook off which meant great food was available but very stressed out bartenders and long wait times for service and for the bathroom.
