I was visiting family in the area for 2 weeks. I brought my 'infant' 14 week kitty with me and decided she needed more toys. I would have given a much higher rating but on this particular day, the manager was extremely rude, as well as the cashier. The manager was a bit perturbed because I was taking pictures in the store. The store was clean and well organized, but one of the associates alerted him that I was taking photos. He followed me throughout the store before confronting me. I advised him I do Google reviews.When I checked out, the manager and associate that was bothered by my photography, were near the register watching closely. I had a return for an item that was missing a piece. The cashier said "It was missing a piece and you bought it anyways? Why?"Ummm, had I known it was missing a piece no I would not have purchased it. I thought about returning the item and just putting all my other items back and make my purchases at the PetSmart in Myrtle Beach, but it was my last day there and I was leaving early because of Hurricane Dorian.I will be visiting again soon, and I will NEVER shop at this PetSmart.

We are new-ish dog owners and we brought our dog here for his first ever grooming. He is apprehensive with new people and I was nervous about how he would do with a grooming session. Helen was his groomer and she was very kind and did a wonderful job. He was nervous but she got him through the whole process and we were very happy with the results. Price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back in the future!

I recently took my puppy to PetSmart for grooming, and unfortunately, it turned into a distressing ordeal. During the grooming session, my puppy was wounded, and they had to rush her to a vet emergency. At the vet, they downplayed the injury, likening it to a tiny paper cut and even advised me not to come.When I eventually went to the vet hospital, I was shocked to discover that my puppy had been left there with significant bleeding. We had to stay until 3 am, and she needed numerous stitches. What was most disheartening was the lack of communication and empathy from PetSmart. They didn't bother to call or check on my puppy's well-being.Initially, PetSmart informed the hospital that they would cover the expenses, but they failed to leave a down payment or any card on file. Consequently, I had to pay out of my own pocket. I had high hopes for some form of follow-up, but no such effort was made. The hospital struggled to contact PetSmart to collect the final bill, with excuses like the manager being busy on Zoom calls.What's even more concerning is that I later discovered that similar situations had happened to many of my neighbors and friends. It's disheartening that PetSmart appears to prioritize profit over the safety and well-being of our beloved pets. I expected better customer service and responsibility from such a well-known pet care provider.

We've had our dog (Luke - 5yo Mini Aussie) groomed here 3-4 times. It’s been hit or miss, once he came out completely shaved, like a buzz cut, not okay for a long haired dog. The other times it was a mostly pleasant experience.Most recently, we have now had our 3 grooming appointment canceled because a groomer called out or did not show up for work. First time it happened, not a big deal, stuff happens, we are reasonable people. We set up an appointment with another Pet Smart. The second time, he had a 9am appointment on a Saturday, called us and said groomer called out. We said do you have Sunday available? Yes, 8am. Get a call 7:15 Sunday morning saying groomer had an emergency and called out, no available appointments left for today, sorry about your luck.I get that these are mostly young kids but someone needs to step in here and be more accountable and accommodating. This is unacceptable Pet Smart considering the money you pay for a full groom. I think it’s time we find a local small business or different Pet Smart.

I love going in here they always have the kibble (dry food) I usually get for my 2 huskies pups, Usually other petsmart around or near me always out of stock of that product for some reason. The store is very organized and clean.

I do not have a pet but went here for a specific item as a gift for a friend's pet. When I asked an associate where to find the item I was surprised at the reception I received. Two associates were stocking items. I asked my question to one and she replied something like "over on aisle 2". The other associate said to follow her and she would show me where to find it. Once there she also should me other alternatives and explained the differences. Excellent customer service. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Overall good fishing minnows but the thing is that there to small and they don’t have variate they have one type that’s roses red minnows but the store is great and they also have other stuff for fishing baits

I love going to this store! The staff is always nice and knowledgeable. The shelves are always stocked. I never have a problem finding my senior dogs food. The groomers are great as well. They handle my dog great and she always looks fantastic when she’s done. No complaints on my end with this store.

I had the worst grooming experience in my life with my dog. People where rude and un welcoming. You spect at least cordiality and kindness in the new place you are leaving your dog. That’s the beginning of trust!! On top at all they cut his long beautiful eye lashes when I asked in advance please not to do so, and as I return they were even more rude and laughed at my complain . Will never take any of my gods again to this place with un professional people.

I bought dog food and EVERY bag was on sale EXCEPT the 18lb bag I bought. WHY? (The staff couldn't understand either). I think it sucks that PetSmart overall is ridiculously pricing their dog food. I have been feeding my dogs Authority (petsmart brand) since they were puppies. The cost is excessive! Disappointed!

Jess the employee who helped me today was extremely knowledgeable and facilitated my purchase with my beta fish for my son! Huge help, daily maintence tips, she showed me where the food, heater, enclosure etc is! She gave me great advice on how to switch the fish to his new tank. Friendly, approachable, helpful, intelligent, and caring. All of the employees were. I was greeted by a cashier when I walked in and while I was looking at the beta fish another male employee made sure I had everything under control. Great staff! Highly recommend.

Staffing were nice and have knowledge/experience to assist us in purchasing two parakeets for my two girls. Their pricing are very reasonable and they have sale on almost everything in the store. Neatness and bright lightning. Aisles are clean and organized.

I am bewildered. I have had fish tanks my whole life. I currently have a 60 gallon tank. I have 2 African Cichlids, which I bought from Petsmart. I wanted to add more fish. I decided on some color and went to buy some goldfish. I know Cichlids are aggressive, so I put a divider in tank giving me 2- 30 gal tanks. I have 2 filters, one per side. I was asked what I was going to do with goldfish. I explained. I was told I can’t buy these fish as they were feeder fish and they also need cold water. So it is ok to buy fish to feed to other fish, but you can’t buy 6 gold fish to try and let them live in a 30 gallon tank which I keep at 75 degrees. I was also told one small feeder fish needs 5 gallons of water. So, since I live in Glen Mills, and liked the location of this Petsmart, I hate to say I will look elsewhere for a fish store.

This store's staff is always so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. They love our pupper, and they're always very helpful with options on treats, food, and harnesses. Furthermore, they're always more than happy to price match. No attitude, no agitation. Just genuinely happy that we shopped there and that we got to save money. Just the other day, we got a $30 toy for $8.95, and a $17 toy for $10 because we price matched with Amazon. This store really knows how to hire good people. They have a customer for life!

The Glen Mills Pet Smart is the only place I shop for my cat and her friends. The store has everything displayed in such a way that it is easy to find what I am looking for. Most importantly the sales associates are friendly and helpful. I always enjoy talking to them about my cat and their cats and dogs. I am also happy that this Pet Smart is so supportive of Andy's Friends, a cat rescue. This is not just a store to shop for pets but also a community of pet lovers there to help me and others find what we need and also to help us help homeless animals.

Out of stock for items I needed, dead fish in bowls, smelled badly. This once novel store turned into an unkempt place I feel gross going into. Not happy with you petsmart. Start cleaning your store, removing dead fish, and stocking shelves.
