Family owned-operated old school hardware store. A rare find in this day and age. More often than not have what I need.Being a firm believer in supporting local businesses, I don't mind occasionally paying a little more to do so. That said most of Martins prices are surprisingly competitive with Lowes and Home Depot (the latter having driven most of the mom and pop outfits out of business ages ago).Clearly one of the reasons Martins survives is because they keep close track of specialty items locals are regularly in need of and continue to stock them even as the big guys pare down their inventories in order to further diversify and compete with one another. In a nutshell Martins is thriving because the big guys are losing sight of what a hardware store's purpose is.So hats off to Martins and thank you for continuing to carry most of the hard to find hardware items we are looking for! To me it's very surprising of how much merchandise they carry you can find everything there , and I also like saying some of the old fashioned merchandise they are to. And I have part of the store as a gift shop. It's fun to see thank you very much

They are real nice people !! And for in the middle of no where They do a real good job !! They are not as well stocked as a syndicated or franchise store ! But do well for a privately owned store .
