As a person who loves log cabins and hotels I love this place. I love the way the rooms all look like wooden cabins inside. My kids love the bunk bed and fireplace along with the look.I know it is a small thing but I appreciate that they give a channel guide for the TV. It makes it so much easier to find channels that my kids enjoy, and not every hotel does this.I also appreciate the binder they give with the room with nearby places to eat and things to do listed.Obviously the best part with kids is the discounted admission to the animal park, which is free for your stay after one initial discounted payment.I always end up wishing we could have stayed longer.

This whole stay was an unexpected blessing. We booked for the jacuzzi tub and stayed for the tigers and marmosets. If you can say that about many other places, i would be impressed.10/10+Staff Super Friendly+Animals Super Cute+Accommodations Super Comfy

We stayed in Big Buck Lodge A and it was great. Lots of space and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The only thing they didn't have was a regular glass measuring cup.Everything was very clean and we loved the free indoor mini zoo! The staff was also very nice and friendly!

We LOVE staying here when we visit the Laurel Highlands. Have stayed in everything from their large suites with the hot tub on the deck and pool room upstairs to the small, cute little cottages. My husband and brother in law are planning a rafting trip and planning to stay again in the spring. Staff are so kind, rooms are clean with lots of perks, and really unique decor. Love seeing waterfalls in the area, going hiking & seeing the animals at Living Treasures in the summer! Definitely recommend!!!

Our stay at Log Cabin Lodge & Suites was phenomenal. The jacuzzi tub in the room was awesome, and the decor was quaint & cozy. The access to the Living Treasures Animal Park was an unexpected bonus! A highly recommended retreat. We ended up staying an extra night. We returned to enjoy a couple nights at The Eagles Nest, where we enjoyed the extra privacy and space that came with the room. The discounted access to the animal park is such a treat!!Nearby activities: Grocery, pizza, and an animal park right next door. Mountains and trails nearby, too. Awesome restaurants, as well!

I got a standard room which was very spacious. I loved it as soon as I walked in. Its so cozy and immaculately clean. I like the steel bed frames; simple design=cleanliness. The mattress looked brand new and it was very comfortable. The bathroom is nice and big also and they have automatic dispenser’s with shampoo conditioner, and body wash in them. I didn’t use them but it’s there. When I booked this room, I had no idea that Living Treasures was part of it. We spent an hour and a half over there. The wolves were spectacular. The ticket price is 50% off if staying at the lodge and you can go in and out as much as you want. They have a nice gift shop in the office and it’s open until 11 PM. I love everything this area has to offer. The next time I have plans out here this is where I will be staying. Recommended!Warning: Keep your key on you because the door locks when you close it. You will be locked out. The key works both locks and can be dead-bolted from inside.p.s. Please tip well! It is obvious they work very hard to provide a clean and comfortable stay💵Rooms: Immaculate and spacious.

Log Cabin Lodge & Suites is wonderful; all the people are nice, and the room is clean. We planned to stay there for two nights and ski at Seven Mountain Ski for three days. However, I hurt my leg on the first day, so we had to cancel the second night. The staff was so kind and gave us a refund for one night, even though it wasn't allowed by the policy. Really awesome!

This place didn't disappoint!Looks simple outside but the rooms are very pretty and each bed/furnitures are unique! The place is very thoughful. They provide most you need even a bottle/wine opener, theres a small zoo, indoor jacuzzi on some rooms. I really like the idea of a folder with information about policy and places to visit etc.Cons: Poor wifi connection, scarce phone signal and walls are thin you can easily hear the noise from the other room.Rooms: Clean, good size, kid and pet friendly on some roomsNearby activities: Skiing, snow tube, cable car, falls, trekking, hike

We booked this room with high hopes after looking at photos on the website and the close proximity to the ski resorts. After checking into the room, it looked mostly nicely kept inside but there was an awful loud tapping, creaking sound that was occurring pretty regularly throughout the evening hours. Unfortunately, it continued throughout the very early morning hours becoming obnoxiously louder and more frequent to the point that it was impossible to fall asleep.. even turning the TV on did not drown out the loud, excruciating noises. We tried to contact the front office but no one was answering the phone. When we brought it up at the front desk at check out, they seemed very aware that it was an issue and were very nonchalant about the situation as they didn’t care at all. Very disappointed and we will obviously never stay here again nor would he ever recommend that anyone stay here that would like to sleep.

Had an incredible girls night in the deluxe suite! We went skiing at seven springs (only 20 mins away) and got back to our room, relaxed, and squeezed into the jacuzzi with a glass of wine :) the staff was so friendly and sweet and our room was perfectly cozy.Nearby activities: 20 min drive to Seven springs mountain which has skiing 8 am to 9 pm

Used to be better.. they don't take problems very seriously. Been here many times and it has really increased for what you get and they don't seem to keep it up as much...Why not offer a simple breakfast and advertise as so? Maybe fruit and muffins waters and coffee? Just advertise as so.. disappointing no breakfast for the money.

My husband and I enjoyed a one-night stay in a deluxe room. We were so pleased with our experience. The room was exceptionally clean and well-furnished. We loved the electric fireplace and the jacuzzi tub. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was great! We loved walking through the gift shop and seeing the Amazon room with live animals, since we didn't have time to got through the whole zoo. We would highly recommend staying here!Rooms: Well-furnished, extremely clean.Nearby activities: Lots to do in the area. Enjoyed dinner at "Out of the Fire" Restaurant and coffee from the "Silver Horse" coffee shop the next morning.Safety: Felt very safe. Liked that there was someone available at the service desk throughout the night.

This place is a must! We are so happy we found this hidden gem! The room was clean, very unique & peaceful! We have 3 kiddos so we bring a circus anywhere we go, this place allows you to feel like you’re right at home with family. The staff were awesome, the zoo was so clean and has a worry free laid back atmosphere! Thank you for having such a wonderful place for us to stay with our kids! We would definitely stay again!

Room was very clean and smelled good. The bed was semi-firm with 4 pillows. The bathroom was very clean and big enough for 2 adults to move around. The lodge is right beside the Living Treasures wild Animals park which you get 50% off admission for staying at the Log Cabin’s. You also get 10% off items in the retail shop.I’d give it 2 thumbs up.

Same parking lot and ownership with Living Treasures Animal Park. Discount entry to the park. GREAT little zoo with lots of hands-on. We stayed in a spacious 3 bedroom suite with a hot tub inside and full kitchen. No windows at all and a bit 'rustic', but we had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have multiple size rooms with various configurations.

My wife and I and our small dog always enjoy our stay in the Hummingbird Suite at Log Cabin Lodge. The room is always clean and comfortable. The Lodge is in a beautiful area of Laurel Highlands in western Pennsylvania with much to see and do in the area. The Indian Creek Valley Rail Trail is close by for hiking and biking. The Lodge is conveniently located just off the PA Turnpike. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend Log Cabin lodge and Suites!

Awesome room for the value. We did the one bed-room with the jacuzzi! Very clean, had a fridge, a fireplace, nice big bathroom with a shower, and of course the nice big jacuzzi! They even had a binder of all different places you could go or activities you could do. Loved that. The only complaints I had is that we had a room on the bottom floor, and the ceiling above is very thin. Luckily it wasn't too bad and I was still able to sleep (I sleep with white noise anyways) but they had their TV on til around 3am. The other two things were that the TV didn't work and it got really warm in the room and there was no A/C... but since it was cooler outside we could definitely deal with it! Overall, would definitely stay there over a hotel anytime!

We had a pretty decent stay in the Timberwolf. The area was generally clean, but the facility was somewhat run down. There were visible mice and even though we made sure everything was sealed, the mice chewed holes in several food bags. The beds and pillows are not very comfortable and the birds and mice in the ceiling are quite irritating when you're trying to sleep. This place met our needs, but could definitely use some updating and attention to details.

Our family had a great time whike we stayed th weekend. Rooms were very well cared for and accessories were great and worked well. If you stay here there is no need to bring your own bath products there is an unlimited supply for you to use. Not like hotels and give you a tiny bottle of shampoo fo 2 people to use.All staff are polite and help out in any way they can. Animals are all well taken care of. And the animal park and all areas are clean and maintained well.
