We liked how you can now bring in your own food and beverages and they seating near the fish pond with shading. The hands on experience was fun, a few hand sanitizers were empty but expected with how many guests there were. So bring some. The snack bar was open which was nice. Plenty of animals to see and feed. Nice gift shop with ok prices. The parking lot was pretty full all the time and is limited, just a few handicap spots. The prices went up quite a bit from a few years ago, but they do have a Veterans discount, for both entry and the gift shop which helps. Employees were nice. Worth the trip and overall had a good time.

Our family loved this place. We really enjoyed being able to get close to most of the animals and feed them. Some of the animals just roamed around free, like the goats jumping over their fence to come ask for food then jumping back in!🤣

We had a nice visit at this park. It was great to be able to feed almost every animal, although we bought a bottle and none of the tiny goats or calves wanted any milk as they were pretty full. We stopped on a whim on our way back and it was a nice visit to break up our long drive on the turnpike. Was about a 5 min drive off the Donegal exit. I am not sure if they had parking elsewhere, but the lot seemed to fill up rather quickly in front of the main entrance. Definitely get a bag of carrots and regular feed, as some animals preferred one over the other. Take quarters for the smaller feed (or use the Crumbs at the bottom of the feed bag) for the fish. They had a nice shaded area to sit and have lunch.

This place was really amazing. I had a great time here. It's a small park where we can cover the entire place in and around one and half hours. We can buy animal food and carrots and feed them to the animals. Most of the animals were friendly, so we can directly feed them. There's a beautiful pond and amazon room as well. The management has been doing a great job and taking care of the animals well. However, I note that the wolves were seen very weak and scared. Overall, it's a great place, and I had a good time here.

What a great trip. My 3 year old grandsons loved the experience here. They already live on a farm, so they really enjoyed interacting with different animals that they don't see every day. The place was just the right size so they didn't tire out too much on us while we were there. I enjoyed feeding the animals as much as they did. It wasn't overcrowded despite the field trip that was there. I can't wait to go back again.

Haven't been here in about 10 years. It was nice to come back. Most of the animals are lively even in the heat. I enjoy seeing the employees cleaning the enclosures and caring for them. Feeding the animals is always fun even when you get the aggressive ones that you have to distract so your kids can feed the less aggressive ones more. Only thing the park could use is more seating or tables. They had a bunch of schools that took over areas for hours on end for their students.

This was a surprisingly BRILLIANT experience! There are a wide variety of animals and birds (rein deer, camels, white tiger, bears, kangaroos to name a few) and you can feed them carrots and other food, that you can purchase along with your tickets. Most animals and birds are so friendly and it was so nice to feed them! If we being adults loved this experience, i can only imagine how kids would enjoy this. The tickets were half off for us since we were staying in the adjacent Log cabin lodge and suits. There is ample space for parking. Would definitely visit this place again!

A cute little animal park! Not too big to be tiresome for the Littles. Exotic animals yet many many interactive exhibits where you can touch and feed the animals. Free roaming chickens and geese throughout the park means no pets/dogs. Affordable, clean restroom facilities, a great gift shop with a large variety of gifts and souvenirs all priced very affordable. There is also lodging on-site, but we were just passing through and didn't utilize. There Laurel Highlands is full of activities year round for families and Living Treasures is nestled right in the middle of it all. A must stop on your visit! My husband and I enjoyed it so much, we intend on bringing our grandson back with us in the near future!

This is a wonderful place to take the kids. Its smaller than a zoo but just enough for the kids to enjoy without getting worn out or board. The animal interaction is great with birds walking right along with you and a good selection of animals to see and feed. For us a little later in the day is best. You only need about an hour or two to get through it all and by that time others are gone and the animals are moving around a bit more. 1 bag of something to feed animals is plenty they see that food all day so a little goes a long way. Pay attention to signs because some animals don't eat that type of food. Great experience for our family.

Perfect getaway for people in Pittsburgh on weekends. Very near to McConnells Mill State Park, with wide variety of animals. You can feed carrots or zoo food costing you 4$ and entry ticket of 17$. Totally worth time spending here, its not only for kids but a perfect spot for adults who love wildlife. You need 2hrs to visit entire park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this animal park! They have such a large variety of animals from mini horses, goats, llamas, horses, and so much more. Petting the mini horses and feeding the Kangaroos were definitely highlights. They also have peacocks! My wife’s only complain was that there was too much poop on the ground.

What an amazing place. I never thought this would be an interesting place, until I showed up here. It looks small on the outside, but it's got plenty to keep you busy. Some of the best animal interactions I've ever seen. Prices are reasonable, and the animals are amazing. If you have kids, this is the place to go!

We stayed here on the way to NY and on the way back home to Ohio the first week of December. The rooms were very clean and tidy. My only complaint was all the smokers outside everywhere. We could smell it in our room and heard coughing all evening. The "zoo" itself is well kept and pretty amazing. Small enough to not have to walk miles, but big enough to enjoy. The Christmas lights were a great touch. We will be coming back to visit again!

Spent the weekend with my Granddaughters. They had a blast feeding and petting the animals. We stayed at the motel which was very rustic, yet convenient. You get great discounts for staying on site and you can go in and out multiple times. We went during the afternoon and again in the evening. The girls insisted on going again in the morning before we checked out. Nice size zoo for young kids and Grandparents. Staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Awesome little place even with Pittsburgh being just over an hour away. Love the small mom and pop style safari style zoo. Not a big place. But still loads of fun. By the time we left, we spent over two hours in this cool little place. The staff were friendly and inviting. If asked they could answer all questions.

By far one of the best destinations that my family has visited. All of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. They even offered free bottled water due to the heat on our trip. The price of the animal park is reasonable and the gift shop prices are the best I've seen at a tourist stop.Tip: When coupled with an over night stay at the Log Cabin Lodge & Suites you receive 50% off of the animal park tickets and 10% off at the gift shop. Plus you can go to the park both days!

Not a huge zoo but what they had was fantastic. The staff was friendly and informative to our "question everything" kids. Zoo was clean and very organized. Animals seemed well taken care of. Kids loved that they could feed and interact with a majority of the animals.

One of my favorite places to visit. I absolutely love feeding the animals. I am very happy that they only have one big cat now. I feel like that enclosure is big enough for her. The pygmy marmosets ♡♡♡♡

KAI and his mate Kaia were Amazing. Very talkative and fun to watch. All the animals were cool to see, if you have kids definitely made for families. The Marmosets were cool to see tiniest monkeys to ever see live and the babies were adorable. Camels, reindeer, Fallow Deer. Livestock from pigs, cows, sheep's, goats, horses, donkeys, deer, miniature ponies. The two laziest Bearcats (they actually do exist) are huge and gorgeous. The Timberwolves were awesome to watch after they finally got up and started moving around; a sight to see and understand their nature for survival is crucial for their species. You also get to feed live alligators. Feeding all the animals were fun. There was also a Kookaburra, one one the prettiest. Also a Golden pheasant with mate.

This little zoo was impressive. If you go take bags of baby carrots because you can feed many of the animals. It's not nearly as impressive as the Pittsburgh Zoo but few are. Still it's great fun especially for younger kids. I prices were higher than I expected, but I'd still recommend it.

A nice privately owned zoo. All the animals were well cared for. Their areas were well kept. It's a nice place for children. There are some really cute areas for photographs.

Great place for the family! It's a lot smaller than a zoo, but larger than a petting zoo. I've been going here since I was little. Great place for toddlers and younger children.ADVICE:You pay admission (around $15 for adults) and buy a bag of feed or baby carrots. Baby carrots are definitely worth it because ALL animals can eat them, whereas only a few may eat the feed pellets. It's okay to pet almost all of the animals! Don't bring a stroller because most of the walking path is gravel, but DO bring a roll of quarters. Some of the animals have quarter machines to buy food at. I love this park!
