Howell's Ice Cream King seems to have a line all day long. I visited on a weekday in the middle of the afternoon and there was still a line the whole time. A good business person knows that people are willing to wait for good food, service, and\or price. The service was friendly, fast, and the prices were fair. A cool refreshment on a hot day was just what we needed. The ice cream was very enjoyable. I was even lucky enough to visit on a day they had a blue dinosaur dancing out front, fun. Ice cream should be fun. They also recently added a pavilion out back to increase seating options. Good call for such a busy establishment.

We were just there this evening, first time this year (we normally go a few times throughout the summer since we live close),we only stopped for ice cream and my kids orders were placed, we asked what was on something and replied with “oh ok, I don’t like bananas” and proceeded to order a fudge sundae with extra fudge. Paid and waited for our ice cream and first thing she goes to hand out was the item we asked what was on it. I replied with “no we didn’t order that” and she took it back, a few minutes later she hands out the exact same cup after she went and dug through it(we figured she did by the looks of it but the hidden banana pieces she missed was a dead give away). I had already paid double the item I actually ordered for the item she charged me for, and didn’t say a word, all I expected was my actual item, but nope instead got food someone dug around in. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I had mentioned I didn’t order that the girl closed the window and flung her arms in the air like it was my fault she didn’t listen. I normally Give small businesses many chances but after digging around in food and the girls attitude we won’t be back!

SUPER inexpensive! Icecream is delicious as well. It was just under $11 for my mom, step dad, little brother and I to all get icecream. I also got an ice water.Definitely recommend! 😊

Great place for ice cream or a quick bite! They have an enormous selection of ice cream and frozen beverages as well as a great variety of hot food! It is seasonal eatery and it only has outdoor seating but the food is so good that it doesn't affect a 5 star review. My suggestion- add on with indoor seating and stay open year round!

Yum yum any time of day for any meal, they have good food and a good selection of ice creams and frozen yum tums!Parking: Just watch what time of day and what day you go, sometimes even all the free parking gets to be slim pickings lol

Yummy everything, was very pleased with cheeseburger, through the garden, nice sized. FF's were good, n large was REALLY Large😀. Ice Cream was delicious, i love soft serve, and I had a Grape Twist! Yummmm. My 2 pups liked their split vanilla baby cone in dishes, too.Very friendly people, and good prices, i thought. 😊 I will return, when I'm out there again, yep!!

We love going here! Picnic tables under a roof, it's clean, prices are inexpensive, and food tastes great! Staff is never rude, wait time is always an appropriate amount for the orders we get! I highly recommend this place.

Really nice especially with foliage in full bloom. Mill shake was good as was the BLT. Outdoor seating only. I think they close for the season October 31st. Worth the trip. Make sure you continue north a little and drive Daddairo Hill Rd.

Ice cream was good. The milkshakes were sized right but their blizzards were undersized for the price. They had great selection but there were so many signs in the windows that it was hard to find the ice cream overall very good and we will stop again.

I had the shrimp dinner and a Pepsi float (with chocolate ice cream). The float was great. I had a generous portion of french fries. The beans were very disappointing . It tasted like they were right out of the can and not even "doctored up". The shrimp were good, too.

Food is very greasy. They do not drain food from fryer, they just take it from fryer to bun. Food was so overfried it was difficult to bite in to and hurt my mouth. I won't stop there again.

I tend to get there hot food quite frequently, obviously it's pretty good if I do. There staff is very friendly and always nice when I go there. There ice cream items are very good as well.

Friendly and clean.. Good food and fresh fries 🍟... They actually taste like they were cut there... Mmmmmmm not five star Bcus I ordered Oreo ice cream 🍦 and I was told I had Oreo ice cream yet it neither looked or tasted like Oreo... It tasted like chocolate ice cream

Food is really good. EXCELLENT place for hand dipped ice cream. I love the banana split. Good family place.Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place for ice cream. They even have a baby Sunday,which I get,regular sunday is too much for me. Nice selection of food,ice cream, just a great summer time place to eat. Prices are good.
