Leo is one years old and nine months! He is doing wonderful. No health concerns just barks a lot and loves to be around others. He likes cats and other dogs his size or smaller. He is territorial when it comes to big dogs and unfamiliar people are around. The perfect dog I’d say. We love him very much. He is very intelligent and learns fast. Olive and Leo are my two Scottie’s and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

We got our Coton/Chon, Cookie, here when she was about 5 months old. She was, and still is perfect and is now 1 1/2. Martins is super clean and all the pups have plenty of room to play. The pups have all their necessary shots and are kept in the best of health.Erla was very kind and accommodating when we picked her up. Cookie and I thank her for bringing us together ❤️

I just got home with my puppy from Martin's Kennel. I have to say this dog is the cutest thing ever. He is so curious and loving. Caused no issues during a 5 hour drive.. He is sleeping quietly in his crate with no issues. I have yet to go to the vet but I hope that is a positive experience as well. The owner is a sweet lady and I would definitely get another dog from them!Update 2022My dog has been a bundle of joy. My mother even went out of her way to post a review on the page because she loves my dog so much. He is well trained, loves being in his owners company and is very independent when needed. A major couch potato! I highly recommend going here for miniature schnauzers!

We've purchased a small mild tempered King Charles Spaniel from them 12 years ago... sadly he passed away. We didn't want to go down the doggy road for while but then decided to do it for personal reasons. After searching online my lady & I didn't trust these other sites or breeders. So she suggested we go back to the people that really do care & love their animals. A place that's NOT a puppy mill. The woman even shocked me cause she remembered our pup from 12 years ago & remembered his parents who was her pet. When we showed her a picture of him she said "Oh yes... we named him boyd, he was the only one that looked like his mother".If your in search, really you can't go wrong her...plus our King Charles was a show dog... he came from a great line of pedigree and now...so does our Miniature Poodle. She's beautiful, smart & witty. She's starting to get adjusted pretty well. Be prepared the paperwork will take a good 20-30mins roughly. But they're very professional & you'll not only leave with a new friend but you'll have everything in your name that links you to your new friend.Thank you again Martin's & keep up the good professional & personal work you provide!

Beware the low prices. I've spent over $15,000 on my 7 year old pup in just basic large emergency health procedures.***One star review because you can't give zero, & I do love my sweet Odin beyond measure*** HOWEVER.I got my cavapoo at Martin's double E kennel in December of 2015 for $600, and though he was relatively healthy for the first year and a half or so, he has had endless problems since then, that our vet says are due to poor breeding practices.I didn't know better when we bought Odin back then to look for a small-scale, responsible breeder; and I didn't have the money to pay a $1500-3k for a pup up-front from one of these non-puppy mill establishments.Well, a $3,000 knee surgery, $2,000 MRI for weak hips, $200/month for heart murmur medication, endless gastro-intestinal visit vet costs, and a $10,000 surgery last week for genetic spine issues later...I wish I would have saved up or financed a puppy up front from someone who loves dogs and doesn't treat them like simple sellable merchandise.ALSO beware the area where you pick up the puppies as it's clearly not where they're kept generally. When we asked to meet the dog's parents, we were told that was not possible - it rubbed me the wrong way, and raised some red flags, but we'd driven 6 hours that day to get there, and we already had our hearts set on our little guy.LONG STORY SHORT, I love Odin with my whole heart.I wouldn't change anything that would have kept me from getting him, but I got our SECOND PUPPY in 2018 (now 5 1/2 years old) from a small-scale local breeder for $1,800, and he's been perfectly healthy and problem-free other than one ear infection; but he's a poodle mix, so that's par for the course.Do yourself a favor, if you don't value the lives of dogs enough to justify a larger up-front cost, just know that the poor breeding practices at Martin's Double E will cost you thousands in the long run, so value that full investment, not the up front price tag of your furever baby.I love my dog, but this place clearly didn't. And I shutter imagining what conditions the poor parent dogs live in since they're only valuable until the next litter of goods is born.

We recently picked up a dachshund puppy from Martin’s. They made everything very easy and they were so friendly and communicative! I received photos and videos of my puppy, along with updates on him. When we picked him up they also gave complimentary dog food that the puppy was being fed and a few bottles of frozen goats milk. Our boy went to the vet for his first check up and is in perfect health! Martin’s did a great job with getting his immunizations. He is a very happy, playful boy who immediately became in-separateable with our other dachshund! Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a fur-ever family member!

I got my Mason there 5 years ago and he is the happiest healthiest sweet boy!! Erla is so kind, caring and wonderful with all the pups. When I got Mason she was brushing him, he had a bath and was so cuddly !!! My sister a year later went back and get her dog Buddy and had a the same wonderful experience! We are contemplating on a third pup so the boys have a play mate ! Thank you for caring for all the sweet furbaby’s ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We picked up Kirby, now Pickles a week ago. Such a sweet boy! When we brought him home to our surprise he was potty trained!! We had no idea that he would be, and of what a nice surprise. We first saw Pickles on Lancaster Puppies and fell in love with his picture. We put down a deposit and Erla was kind enough to hold him for a few weeks as we were coming in from NY. Naturally I think all prospective pet parents research any kennel to no end before going to see their prospective pets. I saw good reviews across multiple sites, but I’m personally always hesitant until I see something in person. As we walked up to the door, we saw a cat in the window who was hanging out with the puppies. As we entered we saw the same cat then walking around and balancing on the puppies dividers. Although we do not have a cat, I thought it was fantastic that the pups had this exposure at a young age so that all puppies born here will be able to live peacefully in any home with a cat. The puppies living area was clean and had enough space for them to be comfortable.The day after we picked up our dog we took him to a vet to make sure he was healthy. They told me he was in perfect health, and was well developed for his age. We are so happy with Pickles, and when we are ready for a second dog we will go back to Erla.

Just got my own little Bichon Frise and it is the cutest! It is safe to get your puppy from as they are very friendly and clean! The puppy is healthy and cuter than ever! It was a drive going down to PA but we’ll worth the drive!!!

This is a poor establishment. Our puppy died within 30 days of purchase and there was no resolution. Then, finally, we received a “partial refund” and the check was returned by the bank as being CANCELLED by the merchant. They say one thing and do another. This business does not uphold the standards of consumer law or appropriate practice for a business.

**DO NOT GET YOUR FUR BABY FROM HERE!!**I have had my sweet Sawyer, a Havaton formally known as Carl, for 3 years, and he has JUST now been given a clean bill of health....as in yesterday.—I honestly do not know where to begin with his health issues. Upon his 1st vet visit, scheduled within 7 days of having him home, his vet noticed a large umbilical hernia. She was shocked that the breeder hadn’t noticed it because any reputable, loving, breeder would have noted this in their dog. He obviously was not getting any one-on-one attention from the breeders. I contacted the owners and they reimbursed me for his hernia surgery without any problems.1...Within the first month of having Sawyer home, he had several emergency vet visits. The 1st was because he was having difficulty breathing. After a CT scan, the vet said he has a collapsed trachea. A collapsed trachea is common in small dogs, but in small OLDER dogs. Not in a 12 week old puppy. The damage to his trachea appeared to be due to blunt force trauma. I work from home and do not have little kids visiting, only my older parents. This trauma did NOT happen in my care as I am with him 24/7. He is to have this examined once a year to monitor the severity. If it gets worse, we will have to weigh the pros and cons, and have major surgery so he can breathe properly. I hope this day never comes.2....That same week he was rushed back to the emergency vet because he became lethargic and limp. I found 2 MAGGOTS in him!!!! The kennel they were keeping my Sawyer was beyond filthy!!!! They maggots passed a horrible infection to my poor dog!—I am sure you are wondering, “Why are you JUST now posting a review??” Well, yesterday at his vet she was so happy this his bloodwork FINALLY came back 100% normal! She said, “He’s had a long road, but we made it!” It’s then I realized that I needed to share my experience about this place.I wish I trusted my instincts, but I am glad that my sweet Sawyer is part of my family, because at the end of the day I rescued him from this AWFUL puppy mill. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!!
