Took our pug there last weekend he is a little over a year old and was never kenneled. He had a great stay highly recommended very nice clean facility staff go above and beyond can’t say enough good things about this place.

Best boarding experience ever. Business is family owned, very well run and extremely affordable. We are full-time RVers and have not met an owner so nice and caring since starting our adventure. My German Shepherd is anxious and hyperactive, and often turned away from new facilities. This place treated him like one of their own pets and ensured he got all his meds, even if he was uncooperative about taking them. He came home so happy, and smelling fantastic after grooming. They even managed to get the 6 week old skunk smell off him which I am eternally grateful for.

Great prices and they respect your animal and special requests. Dogs are kept safe and have access to emergency on-call vet services. Everything is straightforward so long as you can obtain updated documentation for your animals. Schedule months ahead to ensure you can get a reservation. You won't regret using bark of the town.

I have called there twice and spoke to own 2 times. I am moving to juniata county and my collie will have no place for 2 months. I am totally comfortable with him staying there and the owner letter me come see him a couple times a weeks.Wonderful people!!!

This place is a family oriented and he does such a great job with our dog. Baron the dog is always happy before and after we go to see the groomer. Not saying name because not sure if he wants me too. Best place around. To me my Opinion.

This is the best kennel in the area. Love the care they got while there plus we could check the camera when we wanted too. Our dogs love going there also. Never a problem dropping off or picking up. Thank you for the excellent care you give them!

Best Kennel I have ever used. Great, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Rates for boarding and grooming are very affordable. I have been using them for 8 years and will never take my dogs anywhere else!

I was referred to this kennel based on a suggestion from an associate. My dog has been boarded there a few times. There is no better feeling like your dog family is in good hands. I had a situation where I was out of the country and didn't see my dog's bed in her kennel when checking in on her with a web can. I emailed them and they replied almost immediately saying the bed was drying outside as my dog spilled water on it. Within a half an hour the bed was back and my dog looked happy. Since her first visit I have recommended this kennel to people. I go there even though it requires a short road trip for me.

I love Bark of the Town Kennels and Grooming. I have been taking my fur kids to Bark of the Town for many years. Tim, Lauren and the staff take such good care of my fur kids. When taking them to the Kennel, they are nervous while in the car. When we arrive at the kennel they get so excited. The kennel cams allow me to visit my pups whenever I want. Thank you Tim, Lauren and staff.

The kennel is very clean.I struggled finding the right one. There are 2 locations.There should be better markings and or signage explaining which one. The staff acted like I should have known.I was already stressed dropping off this poor little dog and to not be able to find the right one is frustrating.

I have been bringing my dogs here for years. I drive from Harrisburg because of the care Tim and Lauren provide.They took special care of my boy who had diabetes and Cushing's without ever batting an eye. I even received a card when he passed from them.The owners live on the property which gives any pet owner piece of mind knowing they are close. The facilities are spotless and if you check the webcams you will often catch them cleaning the kennels top to bottom.My old English Sheepdog(s) comes home happy and clean. TI'm does grooming onsite.If they don't have space I don't go away. Hands down the best place in the area.

I just recently bought a miniature olde english bulldog. He is just now 6 months old, this in mind we were going on vacation and I did not want to take him along because of how young he was. I searched around our local area for a kennel and found one that a good amount were talking about.They told me to bring any shot records over along with any personal items I want him to have while there. I have him on special grain & soy free food with canned food mixed in. He gets a certain amount which I wrote down on paper the exact directions and I measure the exact amount he would need to give my dog twice a day. Well they have Kennel Cams to where you can view your dog at any given time you want live feeds on there website. Through out the weekend I would get on every few hours and check and I never seen him in his kennel and just figured they had him outside to play. Anyways, on the way back from vacation "4 hour drive" I watched the live feed and not once did he come inside to his kennel. When we got there to pick him up he came running from outside and his face was so cherry red and he was completely dehydrated. He's a bulldog, they can not be in the heat no more then 15-20 minutes at a time. They also sent home 3/4 of his food along with all his treats. They did not feed him, they said he would not eat for them. Regardless they should of called me or tried somehow to get the food into him and same with water.We called them to finally talk to the owner (the husband) and he basically told us to just not come back there and find a different kennel. What kind of business are you running?! Geeze..

Great place, it is good to know our loved ones is taken care like we would. The kennels is awlay clean, you can get a carmra kennel to watch your pet while away, the staff is awesome and you couldn't ask for better owners.
