I think the Dollar General has stepped up its game. They offer great sales and decent online coupons. Also, they always have nice home decor and great holiday-themed sections. There's been one time I've questioned what they have on their shelves and I'm still wondering who in the world is going to put this in their home.

I went into this store this morning needing shelf liners, for our new house. I found some for $1.00, but when I went to check out they ran up for $2.75 each, I got 8, so that was quite a difference on my final bill. Normally, I probably wouldn't have said anything, but I did, the clerk simply asked me where I got them so I showed him, sure enough they were in a bin for $1.00, which was wrong because one of the employees put them in the wrong spot. The employee, immediately changed the price on my bill to the $1.00. He fixed it right away. I thanked him for honoring the sign. Very pleasant!! Thank you for amazing employees!

Love the people but the store is ALWAYS HOT. the poor employees looked parched! Come on DG get on the ball! No one deserves to work in those conditions

The experience here doesn't vary from store to store. Because of what they pay, you get what you get. But that's the price you pay for that price point. Luckily it's generally good.

Love to stop in and browse. Always find some goodies. This trip I bought some prizes for our church picnic bingo game. Inexpensive, practical prizes.
