I ordered a few products from Coleman’s, one was slightly damaged. I wrote customer service, sent them a picture. They responded promptly and sent me a replacement for the damaged product very quickly. I’ll definitely be doing business with them again in the near future. 5 stars!

Items arrived blazingly fast, and as described. I’m seriously impressed at how fast they process orders. Whatever those employee are being paid isn’t enough!I also really like that they reuse boxes for shipping. Although it can be initially surprising to think a case of Ball jars has arrived.

Online order. I placed an order through their website and there was a slight error(at no fault to Colemans) my wife called and spoke with someone and said they were incredibly friendly and fixed the issue with absolutely no problems. Their shipping was fast and arrived promptly. In short these guys are great I look forward to purchasing from them again.

This place is trash. My girlfriend ordered me some pants for my birthday. They sent me a size that would fit exactly nobody. I'm 6 foot 4 and these pants when pulled up as high as possible cover my entire feet plus about 3 inches. Tried to contact them to return cause they didn't fit on the waist either and was told to learn how to hem pants. This company has a terrible customer service record. I would avoid buying anything from them as if it doesn't work out then they will refuse to work with you.

Took them a week to get my purchases ready to be shipped, took them 3 days to respond to emails and they never sent me the email with the tracking number. Only reason I knew my package was on the way was because customer service finally emailed me back after a few days and gave me a number.

Very rarely have I ever had to write a negative review, unfortunately my experience with Coleman's was not good.I ordered two Assault Packs Dec. 4th. From the website, figuring theyd probably ship atleast by the end of the day Friday. Which would've been fine. I did not receive any tracking info so sent a message Saturday asking from an ETA on shipping.Monday morning Coleman's responded saying "Your order has been received, processed, and is now in queue to be shipped. I would expect it to ship early this week."So now today, a week later I then ask to go ahead and cancel this transaction. They ask why and I tell them that it is taking to long, anywhere else would have shipped by now. So Coleman's voids the transaction like I asked then blocks me on Facebook lol.Rather then saving a sale and just shipping the items they throw a fit and block you on social media. This is a surplus store, if you have the items sitting there in the store then why not just ship them? I believe the items are probably not in stock and they are selling what they dont physically hold, hoping something like this dosnt happen before they receive the stock they've ordered.Could have easily saved this sale and review. Inbetween talking with them this morning and writing this, ive since ordered one from elsewhere and it has already had a shipping label generated, imagine that.Shame really as I did hear good things about Coleman's initially.

I ordered a military surplus item from Coleman Military Surplus and the item they sent me was totally broken and taped together with clear packing tape. I called their customer service to talk to them about it to return or exchange the broken item but they said it was used and asked if there was anything else they could help me with, totally ripping me off. Basically a scam. Don’t order from this company, there are too many other companies that are actually legitimate out there. These people have zero ethos or honor.

Absolutely awful customer serviceMade an order then waited ages for it to even ship. Shipping is the same price I paid for the item I bought just for it to take two weeks to "arrive" then of course it didn't even arrive. I've still not gotten my order despite USPS saying it had been delivered. Typically this would be a situation to blame USPS but then I call Coleman's and they say "Well it says it was delivered and we could file a claim but that'd take months so"Then I come on here and read countless other reviews about terrible customer service and shipping issues and am not surprised. Dudes working here do not have a care in the world. Avoid shopping with them at all costs.

I bought a bunch of stuff for a buddy who doesn't do the internet and doesn't have a smart phone or a computer. He wanted the items for Christmas presents. 8 GI flashlights in new condition, two vintage German beer steins, and a couple of vintage Civil Defense signs. All items were either in brand new condition or as described on the website, priced reasonably, packaged properly with no damage, and all items arrived before Christmas. He was extremely happy with his purchase, and I have no doubt he will want to buy from Coleman's again. I was impressed also, and I have recently purchased a pair of GI combat boots from Coleman's. We'll see how it goes.Back in olden times, I dabbled in all things US Marine Corps-ish. At that time, I was issued the standard black leather boot. The "Black Cadillacs," as we called them, were pretty much gawd-awful out of the box. One had to break them in, which could take some time. One also had to polish them pretty much every day in order to not look like a bag of garbage. In the field, the black Cadillac would not keep one's feet warm nor dry, and they were hot as Hades in the Middle Eastern desert environment.As luck would have it, I left my beloved Corps before these new style boots came about. When I saw Coleman's had them at a VERY reasonable price, I jumped at the chance to own these new-fangled jihadi stompers. I was not disappointed. These boots are new-in-the-box and in excellent condition. Even better, these things fit great and feel good right from the get-go. I don't foresee much of a break in time for them. Laces are thin but seem strong enough, and they are long enough that I can wrap them around my lower leg before trying them off. The boots arrived quickly, and I am very happy with my purchase.

Avoid this place like the plague.First order: #001129449I placed an order for x6 of the NATO MP5 Gas masks ($59.99), which showed in stock at the time... Was called and told out of stock. Sorry.Cancelled order, new order placed: #001129828 for x4 of the desert tan NATO MP5 masks ($79.99). I bought 4 hoping I'd at least get one large since they don't let you select sizes. THEY SENT ME x4 SMALL MASKS.I called back, was advised not returnable. I'm basically scammed out of my money, and as an ARMY veteran I had hoped this surplus store stood by their customers. Bottom line, they don't. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

I bought an AVIATOR'S KIT BOX. This AVIATOR'S KIT BOX is a perfect CONTAINER for my 50-Foot Yellow Heavy Plug Extension Cord. It is made in ALUMINUM, so no issues with rust. Outstanding service from Colemans again. I dont buy from Colemans very often, but when I have, the products have been in excellent to new condition and shipping has always been fast. I ordered a USGI artic parka recently and I am happy with the purchase. Again, shipping was fast. The parka seems to be very new and never worn. Thank you Colemans.

This has got to be the worst online shopping I have ever experienced. I order hundreds of online products every year from various websites and this is by far the worst. I ordered one product from them ten days ago and it hasn't even been shipped out yet. Tracking shows product was delivered to mailbox two days ago but its not even my order number. Called, they said it was mistake in shipping department and they would send product right out that same day.. Day ten, still no packaged shipped. Done with Colemans Military Surplus forever!!!!

Ordered an item online (vintage fallout shelter sign), afterwards sent an email with a question / request and got a very prompt reply; item arrived way sooner than expected, packed very well so as to not get bent etc. As promised, it is a really excellent, original example! Placed an order on Halloween for two boxes of the gun cleaning wicks. I should have read the reviews first. I had ordered here instead of Amazon to help a small business. What a mistake. They charged my card immediately but nothing has shipped. My order has spent a week in the shipping queue and nothing has happened. Monday the 8th a tracking number was assigned but UPS has no information. This means they haven't turned in over to UPS and are sitting on it. I'll never waste my money with colemans again. Looks like I'll be talking with my bank and getting my money back. You are committing a fraud!.

Placed on order online on a Friday. The next Tuesday I get notified that my order is being cancelled and I was being refunded all my monies as a result of the company updating its website that had the "wrong" price listed after the site was updated. I then Asked to speak with the manager and explained that I had done nothing wrong and had purchased and paid for the Item that they had advertised on their website. He acknowledged that this is hisCompanies fault but was indifferent and was going ahead and was cancelling my order. He commented that I seemed Like A Nice guy but that he couldn't Help Me. I then called back, explained my situation to a new Customer service representative and asked to speak with the person who supervises the manager (I provided them with his name) only to be transferred back (after being placed on hold), to the same Manager that I had Spoken with. At that time the manager said my order was cancelled. I then asked the name of his supervisor and he said their isn't one. I asked to speak with the owner of the company and he said he isnt available. I then asked if he could provide my name and phone number to the owner so I can speak with him regarding my displeasure and he said he wouldn't do that. During that time the manager commented that I had even been offered (by the original customer service representative) a 20% percent discount off the new adjusted price of my original order which I replied that that had never been offered.I have been a loyal customer and never had an issue before. When I placed the order, the itemDescription and price was very clear and detailed. If a mistake (as what was being claimed) was made by someone representing the company while updating a website, that mistake should not imposed on a customer. The original customer service representative explained that as per terms of the sales agreement, they have he Right to cancelthe order. She went on to explain that this has been done in the past regarding knife sales but when I explained that I had not purchased a knife, she said that it can be cancelled at any time by them. How can anyone trust aCompany who treats loyal customers this way!

I’ve collected foreign camo for years; sadly, the worst transaction I’ve ever had was with Coleman’s. Starting with outrageous shipping charges, the completely missed the mark on sizing. The “large” set was at best a medium regular.I asked if someone would actually go measure the inseam, hips and waste on the XL and XXL. Nope; they are too busy to give me accurate measurements, which are always tricky. They said I could send the “LARGE” back at my own expense…. They have no idea what size these sets are. Last email was really snarky from them…DON’T roll the dice on these guys. They don’t care once they have your money. Lots of people are selling good camo, often with free shipping…don’t get tangled up with Coleman’s.

I have bought items online from this store and have never been more disappointed in the condition, quality, and customer service. Items are not accurately listed and very poor shape. I contacted the company and they were disrespectful and blatantly rude to me. The company refused to make it right and offered only more insults. They seem to take advantage of people and only care about making a buck. Stay clear but if you must buy something do it in person so you see what you are getting.

Totally worth the drive. I picked up 2 Czech field desks this morning that I had pre-ordered. They were sitting waiting for me right inside the door. They're in excellent shape and will get used well. While we were there, my wife and I picked up a few other small goodies. The folks were friendly and they had a ton of stuff on the shelves. Remember though, call ahead if you see something on their website you like! They have a lot more in inventory than they can fit out on the floor.

I just wanted to write and provide you guys with a little positive feedback! All my items arrived in 2 days and in good condition. I was most impressed with the quality of the 20mm ammo cans, particularly the condition of the lid gaskets on both. You can’t beat the free fishing kit, brochure and internet coupon! Although the packing material came pretty close: the six 3’ X 3, 1/2’ rifle targets rock! Even the packaging was awesome! The order of 120 hour emergency candles came timely as stated. They were packed very well and nothing broke. I have been looking at local surplus stores and nobody has these specific candles. I like the fact that they are in glass. They were less than shown in Amazon. I haven't lit them yet. I hope I don't have to. But I'm better prepared either way.
