Nice Place, friendly staff, I Go there to get my dog nails clipped and by flea and tick pill sometimes. Note* the people on the left side are awesome and they will trim your dog nails and sell flea & tick pills without dog papers unlike the people on right side. They have a lot of stuff there but wish they had a better selection of dog food and treats

The employees here could not be any more knowledgeable or helpful! I buy odd things... crickets, mice, dog cookies, and worms. And they are so pleasant and easy to work with here.

Lots of issues with this pet store. Today I went in last minute to get some food from my guinea pigs because they were completely out, and they don’t close till six. All the doors were locked by 5:50. I know that’s an awful time to come in and grab stuff, but I just needed to grab a bag of guinea pig food check out and leave and I knew exactly what I was looking for. Another thing is, I have been sold three times animals that were the wrong gender but pregnant. They do not take very good care of their animals at all, I have had to raise seven baby guinea pigs because they sold me two male guinea pig pigs, but they were both pregnant females And they couldn’t do anything to compensate me . I also have a pregnant hamster because they sold me a male saying it was a female. A lot of their guinea pigs seem to have been inbred, and they are constantly putting the wrong gender in the wrong enclosure and selling them as the wrong gender. If it all possible, I would recommend going somewhere else and supporting another local pet store than this pet store. And these are just a few at the experiences I’ve had

I drove 40 minutes to come check out this store yesterday - as the only pet stores near me are PetSmart and Petco. I was so glad I made the trip! They have an amazing selection of fish in comparison. I did notice some of the fish were sick (with ick, etc) but every aquarium with sick fish in it - was marked as not for sale. 👍 Also the selection of fish was some of what you'd find at other places - your more common fish: glo-fish, angel fish, goldfish, mollies, bettas - but then they had Celestial Pearl Danios, Pygmy Corys, Blind Cave Tetras, and other not so easy to find fish. The staff was super friendly, and was helpful.Will definitely have to return sometime after the holidays!!!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Great service! Took my Golden for his first grooming appointment and it went better than I even expected. They even gave him a complementary bandanna. Very impressed with the service and their friendly employees. Will continue taking him here. Thank you Calico!

It's an adorable, personable, very organized pet store. It's clean. They have little frogs aquariums all over in little spots. Their tanks are much bigger for their critters than ones in big-named stores. They have a cool bird zoned where you can walk right up to the cages, everything is right there and up close. They even have baby chicks and roosters. Someone is always there to help get you supplies like mice, crickets, etcs. They have a LOT of stuff to look at and browse for all animals even for horses. Pretty cool, love going there for my stuff.

We buy dog toys and accessories here. They have a decent selection. We used to take our dog to the groomer but had a hard time getting an appointment and our dog always got skin infections afterwards. My mom has gotten fish from here and they always die within a few days.

I’m a regular customer at this store, they are incredibly kind and take very good care of their animals here. Although today I called for some simple information on whether some things for a fish tank were in stock and I was told they were too busy to help me. I ended up going to petco instead because the person who was working in the aquatic department was so rude.

Calico Creek is the best pet shop around, especially for reptile supplies! I am consistently impressed by the care that Calico Creek shows their animals. The reptiles are in large clean enclosures with obvious respect for their husbandry requirements. They have a wide variety of reptiles, many of which you can generally only find at reptile shows. They also have a generous supply of tanks, decorations, hides, and more! I will definitely be returning whenever I need supplies for my day gecko or whites tree frogs!

i love this place. it makes me happy to see people that actually provide decent care for their animals until they are purchased. i’d rather support this store than the big companies who get their animals from mills. they also have amazing prices.

Calico Creek is the place to come for all of your pet needs. From pet food, pet toys, carriers, kennels, cages, fences, enclosures and aquariums; this place has it all.Edited: I would like to rate a local business higher but…DO NOT get a pet from this place! We bought 2 rabbits here and neither one survived to two years old! They were house rabbits, very well cared for, and were taken to a veterinarian more times than any previous owned pet. It was our veterinarians option that the rabbits did not survive due to their breeding conditions! Lost a customer and would not recommend.

Love it here... they have a vet and a grooming place inside and while u wait shop for food treats and more.. great selection of supplies for fish and reptile also birds. They do sell bunnies and gerberals( I know that aint spelled correct but Google didn't help me w spelling). A really nice place

Calico Creek is the place to go! They have a great selection of pets, food, and supplies. Currently there are chicks, turkeys, tropical birds, doves, gerbils, hamsters, bunnies, and fish. The prices are all reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

They take poor care of animals not helpful towards them specifically the reptiles are in bad housing spent 400$ on a cool morph python and refused to eat I tried everything I work with snakes a lot and she was in very poor health and ended up dying 3 weeks later and was told to call back the next day 3 separate times they don’t have a refund policy or anything so shoot your shot luck of the draw don’t go here for reptiles !!!

Come in all the time to get reptiles/supplies. Staff can be rude at times and when animals are sick there is no discount. Animals are usually overpriced anyway.

Nice expensive stuff, IF THEY HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK, and they cry covid as soon as you walk in the door. They don't want your money if you don't cry covid with them. I just go online to ebay to get my supplies now.

Absolutely garbage when caring for animals!!!!!The vet clinic is absolutely horrendous! Don't alert people when their dog has a bleed that isn't stopping!!!! Very rude customer relations. Very cocky staff. Don't trust these people!!
