I did like this stop. Although a very small space it was kept clean with well kept grounds. Bathrooms were well kept; just noticed some toilet paper on the ground. Very minor. Small food and drink selection but otherwise a pleasant experience with respectful staff. Also Country Pride Restaurant inside was clean with menu prices not thru the roof expensive as with most travel stops.

Best service & breakfast I've had near Penn State out of 3 places I have eaten while traveling through this year. The waitress was psychic, lol. She had incredible service. From knowing to put sausage gravy on my biscuit, instead of white gravy & on the side. When asked for a side of gravy. To knowing I wanted ketchup when I almost forgot to ask. She was on top of it. Food was excellent & even offered a to-go cup of coffee before I asked. Even though I'd recommended the food. The service was absolutely outstanding & one of the better experiences I've had in a while. Excellent service. 1st 5 star from me in this area.

We had one meal that was over cooked, fried chicken, and one steak that was under cooked, sent it back and then it was well done and to tuff to cut. 3/1/21 Just spoke with the manager Todd, he offered to comp 2 meals for us. He was very nice and had a lot of compassion for our issues and wanted to make it right. I appreciate the offer and thank them for caring enough to listen to our experience and desire to make it right in the future.

It's painfully obvious why T/A's customer service line just takes a message these days. They are rapidly becoming a joke. Everything is ridiculously priced 3.49 for a gallon of water for instance. They are typically as filthy as a mom and pop truck stop in the middle of nowhere and many of them over half the parking lot is pay to park.$20.00 for parking, $20.00 to eat. As a bonus, some of them you have to pay just to get into the parking lot then they still charge you to park on top of that.

Called in my take out order and they had my order ready when promised. Food was delicious and was supplied with appropriate eating utensils and napkins. We are impressed with the level of pride - no pun intended - with the way we were treated.

Was running out of clock and didn't know where to stop found this place wasn't going to come in and eat but I'm very glad I did the food was excellent and best server I ever had in over 20 years. Mariah omg she was amazing and only reason I'll come back there. Thank you for making my night and putting smile on my face you were friendly and offered suggestions the standard for customer service should be example of her hospitality

Salad bar was fresh. The hot bar was absolutely terrible!!! Steaks were tasteless and tough, chicken was good, mashed potatoes were like play doh, they couldn't even get them off the spoon, 3 different dishes were RICE dishes for side! They wanted to charge us almost $6.00 for our 2 year old granddaughter, who barely eats anything, and for us it was $14.99!!!! That is ridiculous and they will NOT be seeing us back anytime soon. Wait staff is still great and positive with what they have to work with. Chicken and salad!!!! Booooo

Shannon served a fantastic meal made by George my cook 5 stars for my first impression.. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked. Soup was hot and flavorful. Loved my Hot Fudge Sundae dessert.Feb 2019I really can not say enough good things about the Salad bar and it's fresh vegetables. Place was not busy, yetit took 20 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Then, another 30 minutes before I got my order. I ordered a meat lover's omelet, got a farmer's omelet. My toast was burnt. My grits were watery, more like porridge than grits. While I pointed out the issues, I did not complain, I merely asked to be billed for what I received (farmer's, not meat lover's). Was told the difference was slight. Said I just wanted to be billed for what I received. Got a bill for meat lover's, not the farmer's that I received. There's a McDonald's down the block. Perhaps THEY can get my order correct.
