If you have an emergency, this is NOT the place to go too. My pet bird got his wing torn off, we made an appointment at Cornell but were hoping to get into Milan since it was closer and cheaper. We stopped in to see if they could help and the lady was very hesitant (right then I should’ve left) and said she wasn’t sure but checked with her co workers. She came back and said the vet could squeeze him in in an HOUR when she’s on lunch break and we said okay perfect. TWO hours later we get a call about him saying he’s not doing good and that they could do surgery but he might not make it. We asked if the surgery would be worth it because the vet made it seem like no matter what he wasn’t going to make it and we got a very snarky remark. We asked for a quote and she said she would call us back with one. 15 minutes goes by and we don’t get a call so we stop in and get sent into the back room. The vet comes in and says he just passed away.First thought: did he really JUST pass away or did he when u called us and that’s why u didn’t call back?Second thought: we understand you wanted to help but if you were too busy and couldn’t since it was an emergency, then call us back and tell us OR don’t accept to help. We’d rather of been sent somewhere else than of had him sit there and die.Third thought: did you give him at least pain meds? Probably not.Fourth thought: why so snarky?

Dr. Fisher is great. But don't try to talk to their office manager Tracy. She has no compassion for people with disabilities. She is very very rude and unprofessional. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB and looking into a discrimination suit.

I had heard this was a knowledgeable vet for rabbits. I took a new rabbit there and ended up spending $150 to be told "its a rabbit". No actual exam or any useful information. Will not be returning.

I've been taking my dogs to Renea for years and love her. She takes the time to know you and your pet. She saved the life of my Pomeranian a few years ago. Her staff is pretty amazing too

Dr Fisher is the only exotic pet veteran I know of locally and she's great. Has alot of empathy for the animals. The staff is friendly and helpful and I won't take my ferrets any place else.

All 3 of our dogs were clients for 10+ years. Our last was 14 and her health had been declining. I called, left a message about having her put to sleep. That was a month ago and we still haven't recieved a call back. We won't be returning for future animals. It's sad enough to consider making your animal comfortable, but to have to find another clinic, that you are not familiar with, and it's not their client to help. It's disappointing.

So impressed and grateful! We were driving through from out of town and were concerned about our dog's inflamed eyes, and decided to stop and see if they had an opening. They squeezed us in -an hour before close on Friday of memorial weekend!- and were extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient! Extremely affordable as well. Wish we had a vet like this in our home town!

Absolutely love this Vet and all the staff! They are very polite and understanding. The prices are reasonable and the care is excellent! Just took my own kitty and my moms and they did a great job with them both.

If I could give the vet negative stars, I would. I'll never understand why she didn't draw blood the first time I took our dog there. Instead, our dog was sent back home with an unclear diagnosis of an upset stomach. Not even a week later, the soonest I could get her back in due to scheduling, we're being told that the blood tests taken this visit indicates she's in kidney failure and should be put down since she only had a 15-20% chance of survival if we sent her to Cornell. The vet tried rationalizing it, saying this disease attacks suddenly and quickly. Maybe if she'd done blood tests the first time, I'd be writing a different review about how she'd saved my dog.The rest of the staff was polite, professional, and compassionate.

I recently needed to use Milan vet Clinic while for my 8.5 year old boxer while in town visiting. The Milan Veterinary Clinic was so accommodating in helping out. My dog, recently diagnosed with cancer needed a follow up test. Dr. fisher and her staff were wonderful in handy my pet and answering my never ending questions.I received the tests results only a couple of hours after we left.left and i received a follow up call fr0m the Dr. They are a friendly, professional well run vet clinic. i'm relieved to know I have a trustworthy vet clinic to use while in this area! my pet loves this place!

They have taken great care of my guinea pigs.First my one was in the hospital there for 3 days and I was kept up to date on everything that was going on with him and he came back to us more spoiled then he went.The second was to get my male guinea pig neutered I dropped him off in the morning and the did what they had to and called me as soon as he was out of surgery to let me know all was well. I picked him up that evening and again he was well taken care of while he was in their care.A++++ service and communication will be taking all my guinea pigs there for Dr. Fisher to see.Great Job to everyone at Milan Vet clinic

Milan Veterinary Clinic is absolutely wonderful! The doctor is super knowledgeable, especially helping out those of us with more exotic pets. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help! I would recommend this place to anyone needing veterinary services. I wish I lived closer to take my dog here as well!

I've taken 2 pets here so far, the first time they did wonderful my 10 month old pit bull had parvo and they got him better and home in 4 days, now that have my 10 week old puppy and have had for almost 2 weeks! The first time the bill was right around 800 this time I have already paid 1,300 and will need to pay at least 500 more, I understand that people need to make money but I also know for a fact that there are cheaper vets in the area that are just as good. I'm giving them 3 stars because they are good people and you can tell they care but they are over priced

Dr. Fisher and her staff are caring and knowledgeable. The hours are limited . The office is open Tuesday - Friday 8- 5 but Vet hours are actually 10- 5.The care is excellent but an animal taking ill on a weekend means a drive to Ithaca or Binghamton where the practice has relationships.

We took my daughter’s healthy 5 month old kitten in to be neutered in June only to get called saying he died “ooops no idea why”. NOW they send my daughter a post card to remind her to vaccinate the kitten THEY KILLED!!! How heartless and unprofessional!!!! Dr Renee is only about money she doesn’t care about animals or clients 🤬

I am so impressed with the staff and veterinarians at Milan Veterinary Clinic. We adopted a stray that showed up at our home. The MVC staff were understanding and professional about the concerns and care expected for the kitty. They are compassionate and truly care about saving and adopting out stray pets. They are willing to go the extra mile for at-risk animals. Thank you, MVC!
