A wide selection of ice cream on the menu boards . . . .but . . . .Took our son, daughter in law and the grand kids there for ice cream and was less than impressed. While the menu board is extensive, they do not always have what is listed. Ice cream sandwiches . . . said they were out but we could buy a 6 pack - why not open one and sell 6 individual ones? Want a soft serve cone? Well a medium is $5.50 and dipping it adds another $1.50 . . . really? It is also cash only so if you rely on cards anymore as we do, it was a scramble to pull $30 together for what was ordered. Overall the ice cream was average but the actual inventory and more so the prices make this a place we will avoid in the future which is a shame as we live 5 miles away. Plenty of other options in the area as the summer unfolds.

Great place for dessert. The staff could not be more friendly. They aim to please and very good at taking special requests. The ice cream is delicious. The toppings are always fresh. The prices are extremely reasonable. All of the above is great but it's also walking distance from my house which is awesome.

Very clean. Great friendly service. Options are many to chose from. Prices are very good. Travel from Berwick to Mifflinville and feel it's well worth the trip.

What a fantastic ice cream parlor! Some of the kindest people you will ever meet pack the ice cream into dishes or cones! Delicious flavors and the amount of ice cream they give you is out of this world! 2 adults could share the amount in a kiddie size dish! Not expensive either! Definitely worth it! We will be frequent flyers this summer!

I Love Max's ice cream shop! I've been here twice since it recently opened and it's been so good every time! The employees are all very kind and it has a lovely atmosphere. The hard ice cream is good, and so are the shakes. There are lots of options. Love it!

My friend and I stopped here the other day and had two orange cremes!! They were fantastic and cooled us off totally as it was a very hot day outside. And it was reasonably priced so we didnt have yo pay a fortune for some ice cream!!

We're from the Philly area and have to admit that Max's soft serve ice cream was the best ever! Even better than from the Mr. Softee truck!!! And the serving size was more than generous. Great find in our many travels.

Sunday is their $5.00 Super Sundae special. Their ice cream sandwiches are fantastic and a great deal, too! Very nice people and great service!

Owners are very friendly and they are pet friendly. Had a great Hot Fudge Sundae and a CMP. And of course, Sully had his vanilla ice cream. Great place to enjoy a summer night.

Was really crowded when we went, and there's so many choices on there boards it's hard to make a decision quick. They kinda rushed us even though we told them it was our first time. But prices were ok I guess so was the ice cream. Will try again when not crowded to rate them again.

You get 24 flavors of Turkey Hill ice cream and 19 flavors of Turkey Hill soft serve the milkshakes are the best around nice and creamy not to mention great customer service very friendly

Max's reminds me of the ice cream shoppe that I frequented as a youngster! They shop owners were very pleasant a promptly took care of us. They selection is impressive. I may have to go back tomorrow to try something different!

Almost in the middle of nowhere you will find friendly, hard working folks serving a great product in the hidden idyllic village of Mifflinville, PA in Pennsylvania. Max and his wife's Shop has outdoor covered seating and plenty of parking.
