The binocular and spotting scope section is a dream made true for birders or nature enthusiasts wishing to upgrade to the top of the line optics companies. What a blessing to be able to line up and test the different brands to get the best one specific to your visual preference.A lot of the optics are pricey but it's a once in a lifetime purchase. Live a little people.They carry thermal optics which have been being used for hunting for many years. Wake up birders, these things are GAME CHANGERS!!!The staff here are always SUPER friendly and helpful making a tough decision a little easier.The main part of the store has every kind of boot and or shoe imaginable. Well done!

Very helpful and friendly service. A small store with a surprisingly large selection of quality work boots. Owned and operated by local Amish. So don't expect newfangled electric card readers. They still use the old slide thing.

Very good place to purchase shoes. I have foot issues which makes getting the right fit crucial. They took the time to work with me to find that fit and gave me pointers on what to look for in a shoe in the future. I will be purchasing from them again.

Owner in regard to your reply, would you drive 80 miles round trip at today's fuel prices to be told we don't have it in your size on more than one shoe ?? Yes the family did try to help, not the problem. I did try other options only to be told the same thing, we don't have it your size !! I'm not going to buy shoes I don't like at today's prices, I want what I want !!

It's a nice little shoe store for being up here in juniata county but it's just and I know it's Amish run and there's nothing wrong with that but it just seems like you guys's prices are a little bit too high for me but it's a nice little store and keep up the good work and thank you

I go to the shop for birding optics. The owners are great birds themselves and you calm always have an interesting conversation. They are known throughout the state for their optics. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went out to look and see what they had. Their assortment impressive. I wanted for birdwatching. The owner went thru about a dozen pair of nocs with me, mostly used. No pressure - none. Very knowledgable and patient and kept process simple and gave me the opportunity to decide what was right for me, not him. Viewing area allowed nice comparisons. I spent a bit more than I hoped on a used pair, but very very pleased with experience. Would highly recommend. They are outside mcallisterville in juniata county, (pa).Amish owned. The father used to do monthly column on birds when boys were kids about experiences with birds that was compiled into book that is an enjoyable read.

The complete lack of greeting, acknowledgement or offering of assistance from the 2 male eployees standing around looking at me as I browsed the women's shoe section only served to lose them a $150-$200 sale!!! They did, however, greet my husband and offer to assist him and he was not even looking to buy footwear!!! Maybe the employees can work on greeting and offering everyone looking some assistance without regard to a person's gender!!!
