I love bringing my Norwegian Elkhound to Flickinger's, they do the best job with him. They also sell awesome dog cookies for all the seasons and celebrations. 10/10

Our dogs name was Buster! From the day we adopted him until he passed - we took him to Flickinger's to be groomed. He suffered from anxiety and the staff was always gentle and kind. Sarah and Lexi were wonderful with him and always accommodating when scheduling his appointments. They take the health and welfare of the animals they groom seriously. As a responsible pet owner that should be important to know they want your pet to stay healthy. I know if I adopt again - Flickinger's will be my first call for grooming.

Fantastic! Bailey had never been groomed before going to Flickinger's so I was nervous about how she would react. They put her, and me, completely at ease! She loves going to be groomed now and they do a beautiful job, especially with the deshedding! She gets excited to see the people there and it's wonderful knowing she is safe and in capable hands. We go often and love the results!

We absolutely adore coming here! The selection of toys and treats is our favorite part! 😅 I bring my long haired cat to be groomed and I know it's not an easy task and I am forever grateful that they take such good care of her! We spoil our other furbabies with treats and toys!

I took my 1 year old pup into get groomed. He's been groomed before just not at this location. When I arrived to pick him up Sarah came out wearing noise canceling headphones might I add. She asked if I planned on neutering him anytime soon I said no she then she handed me two obience business cards. One it was a new environment two they were all new to him and lastely there were several other dogs there. In conclusion there was a lot going on, I've never been told that he was a bad dog or needed to be trained. He is trained very well. I just wanted to pick him up and pay but she kept pressing on taking him to one of the two trainers. I didn't like it and will probably never go back.

For our first time there, it went well. Since our older dog has passed away 2 weeks ago, and I’m working from home, our boxer girl has become even more clingy than normal. The ladies were very friendly when we came in and very gentle in taking her back for her appointment as I was leaving.I gave 4 stars because of the deshedding shampoo we paid extra for. I’m not sure if the shampoo doesn’t work since she’s still snowing (she’s white) OR if it’s a loss cause. I’m not sure if you’d brush her for 8 hours a day, every day that she’d ever stop shedding.She came back smelling so darn good!!!! Seriously, If I could provide a scratch and sniff sticker with this post, you’d never quit scratching!!!She got a bath, deshedding shampoo, nails trimmed and one of the cutest bandanas!! She’s all pretty white, soft, smells good and looks adorable!I can see how some people may say it’s expensive but I will be honest, this was half the cost of what groomers in Adams and Franklin Counties charge (that’s where I’m from) and I personally thought my charge today was very reasonable! I used to pay $75+ for a basic bath, nail trimming was extra and so was the blowout/deshedding. My dogs had never come home smelling this good!It did take a couple of days for a call back. I didn’t mind. It wasn’t an emergency for the bath, it was more of some spa treatment after her brother passed. I understand they are busy and you can’t always run to the phone when you are covered in suds and fur. They called me back (more than I can say for a local beauty salon), and she got me scheduled quick and had plenty of times to work with.I can see us going back again in a few months and for special events so she looks pretty and smells so pretty!I would recommend! Oh, and give the de-shedding shampoo a try if you’d like. I’m not sure if it works best on some breeds than others, if she’s a lost cause or it don’t work. You be the judge.

Flickinger's is a great place to take your pet. Very friendly staff and great with your animals. They are more than capable of grooming your pet the way you want. They also have a small store with treats, high quality collars and leashes as well as some toys. Although they may be slightly pricey for a smaller area I feel that they are fairly on point and competitive with prices for the work they put out and the products they sell. Definitely worth checking out.On another side note, they also have obedience classes, Santa pictures and other events that are done in the back of the store. Though these are usually 3rd parties renting out the space, it is still done at flickinger's and they do a great job of getting you information and a way to contact someone for classes and events you wish to attend.

We use Sara for the grooming of our Lilly for over 7 years. we would never take our animals to any one else. She treats our Lilly like one of the family like we do. Sara honestly cares about animal and will always go the extra mile to care for our fur baby. Thanks Sara for your caring!!

1st and last visit there. Didn't even finish grooming our puppy because "he was too distracted" by the 10 other dogs in there all at once. Overall terrible experience and overpriced for all the hype they get 🤷‍♂️
