I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who helped me today after Lowe's botched my washer-dryer install and I had to come to Coles to get what I needed to finish the job. He not only made sure I had everything I needed (without trying to upsell me), but also gave me great instructions for what to do. He was very nice about it and encouraged me that I could do it on my own. Well, it took a bit of elbow grease, but my appliances are up and running. He was such a huge help.

Awesome staff! They helped me find a paint that I had pulled up from Pinterest and also helped me find coordinating colors. Super helpful, friendly, and easy to work with staff! They also were super nice about how I was there a few minutes after closing by the time I checked out.

Love the place even when department manager isn't there, the young guys are helpful and friendly. Each time I visit the store I'm so impressed how helpful the staff is. I drive 60 miles out of my way to shop there.

Cole's in Mifflinburg is a great place to shop for many around-the-home needs and projects! They've got a good selection and great prices; consistently lower prices than Lowe's. The staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful. Don't forget to grab a complementary coffee that is hot and ready to accompany you around the store while you shop.

Some of the workers are kinda clueless, I go in for a specific item and they try hard to sway me into something else, no I don't need 1 inch sheet metal screws to mount a bike hanging rack to the studs in my garage....but that's what one man tried to convince me into, another took the screw I had when I came in to compare, he ended up tossing it into whatever screw dish he did. That was nice, bc then I couldn't even put the 2 screws I had that I knew would work until I could get to Lowe's, bc I had 1 now, and 6 that were wrong (but ya know, they work in hardware store so they must be somewhat of handy men) that's not the case at all. There should be a hands on and basic knowledge test for floor associates.
