What kind of hardware store closes at 6? Something in your house breaks at 6:02 you’re screwed. Bad business practices. Not my job to find people to work there. Hopefully next time my toilet breaks it’ll be between 10 and 6. Don’t worry. Home Depot was open.

As a general hardware store this store is limited on it's stock in certain areas of home improvement. I would rather go to a tractor supply store.I also dropped off a few UPS packages here and it felt very shady. I would rather drive up to Hummelstown UPS Store than leave my packages without a scan here.The dirt bags that are put out on pallets are so over priced well mostly everything here is over priced. I would very much torture myself at Lowes, HD or Walmart for home improvement.

In general, I give this place 5 stars. That was my experience when I went in yesterday. My experience then was five stars. In general, there are two employees who seem to be the managers, at least in terms of more knowledgeable and in charge. One of them is lovely. He is super helpful, always willing to help and very able to do so. The other one not so much.I went in the store, having decided to try TrueValue over Home Depot. I need a shovel. They had some that were very cheap, $10 a shovel. I asked the staff at the cash register if it was even worth the purchase, given that it was very cheap. The manager-type fellow overhead and gruffly replied “Well, it is cheapest one we sell, so if you use it hard…Yes, it’ll break. You get what you pay for.” However, he did so in a way in which he made it seem stupid that I was asking, and he made me feel unwanted, and like I should not come back.Obviously, I know the cheapest shovel is the lowest quality. However, in my experience, some of the employees there are very knowledgeable and may have been able to advise me to skip that shovel or, say: “For the $10, it is reasonably well made.” Who knows. That’s why I was asking. Needless to say, I wish I had gone to Home Depot today.I like supporting smaller stores. Despite still being a chain, I think it is locally operated, and I appreciate that about it. I will give it one more try. What I can say is I hope that individual does not train new employees because if so, he may create an environment where rudeness is a prevailing character, and then I’ll go to Home Depot. I’d rather interact with staff who are not helpful than staff who are rude.

Ryan was super! I never in my life knew how to feed line to my weed waker. Ryan went above and beyond to not just teach me how to do it but also lining it for me! Just a great down hometown employee! Great job Ryan!

I probably have never spent so much time in a hard ware store but after staying 1.5 hours and Scott running around trying to help me refurbish a dresser and find the right parts I honestly love the customer service here and will keep returning. I really appreciate him taking time to help me find what would be best for my DIY project. :)

Great selection despite not being a large, "big box" store. They sell seasonal items like pool noodles, kiddie pools, fans, gardening supplies, grills, etc. But of course, they also carry your standard tools, light bulbs, plumbing supplies, paint, nuts and bolts, keys, and everything else you need! I was surprised they carried items for pets, and baby proofing stuff, too!I love how close they are compared to other places, and they really go out of their way to make sure you find exactly what you're looking for. Super friendly staff.

This is not your average hardware store! You can actually find what you need and I have only ever had very positive visits. Every single person there is super friendly and eager to help. It's like the big stores condensed into a little area, but with friendly people. it makes stopping for something quick, easy and almost dare I say fun. Support Riverside!

From the time the store first opened, they’ve had rude & impatient staff! They act as tho you’re ‘bothering’ them, even if you’re the only customer in the store & talk down to you like you’re ignorant. I think I’ve had one or two experiences where the help was kind. Only go in there if I absolutely have to!

I shopped here during the height of the Wuhan Virus. I am grateful to avoid the chaotic conditions at Walmart. The clerk named "Scott" was exceptionally courteous to the 80 year old lady at the check-out in front of me. He treated her as if she were his own mother! Moreover, he allowed me to closely inspect other models of "fans" after I returned my original purchase. I was looking for the right kind of "white noise" to help me sleep at night. In the end, Scott sold me a much "better sounding" fan than my original purchase (it was also significantly less expensive)! Despite all the anxiety (courtesy of the Communist Regime) I will be sleeping like a babe tonight!
