Some of the worst pharmaceutical staff I have ever met. Firstly they cannot read a prescription right as they misread my prescription dosage change and then when I called in to speak about this they had me waiting for someone to pick up for 6 minutes and then hung up. When I called back the lady was incredibly rude and tried to say that I was wrong and I had to have my psychiatrist personally reach out to them again to explain to them the prescription they had sent to them. THEN when I got to the rite aid I had pulled into the drive thru lane due to being pregnant and having swollen ankles and a sore back as I had just gotten off my 10 hour shift and instead of helping me at the window they made me come in and wait in line for a good 10 minutes. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone due to the lack of customer service and respect for their customers as well. Switching pharmacies as soon as I can.

APR 2024UPDATE to below: AGAIN, I have been calling the pharmacy in the Middletown, PA store, and nobody answers at all. It is 10:14 AM. I have called several times. NOBODY ANSWERS. Then, if I go over there, there are typically 3 people doing next to nothing. Chatting, laughing... not getting work done. I've been waiting 2 days for my RX to be filled, and I can't even REACH the DARN PHARMACY!!!!! This is, by far, the worst customer service I've ever had at a pharmacy.JAN 2024This is the WORST pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I've called over and over and can't get through to anyone. I've been trying to get prescriptions transferred from Philadelphia, and it's a nightmare. You can't reach anyone. Nobody answers the phone. If you do reach someone, they don't take care of the issue, and you have to call back again. Then, of course, they don't answer the phone!I now know why so many are closing. They are horrible!!! Now it's 3:34 PM. on a Sunday, and they've taken the phone off the hook because I just get a busy signal. Unprofessional! I may have to switch back to CVS, which isn't nearby at all, and I don't drive, so that's another problem.

I'm not one to make reviews. But horrible horrible customer service. I called to see the progress of a transfer of my prescriptions and the first person got annoyed when I gave her my birth date and put me on hold. The second lady answered so rudly and had an attitude the entire time. I felt dumb just asking such simple questions. I will not be getting me prescriptions here and will go where there is good customer service.

Poor, horrible, truly don't care about customers. Accused me of pharmacy shopping, not even asking for my insurance (they fill meds under auto accidents), refused my auto insurance, said only 1 person does it. Then tried to get me to pay out of pocket triple the price even though my auto paid for it. I'll never go here for prescriptions again.And to the young man who wears the mask below his nose but covering his mouth...if your not going to wear it properly don't bother wearing one at all

Pharmacist lost 6 of my prescriptions as they were being transferred then refused to fill them all. Now I need to transfer them again to someone who will actually help me. Horrible experience! Do not recommend!!!

Pharmacy has given me wrong prescriptions on 2 occasions. Girl at counter does not ask for address or date of birth. Then when I had a refill sent there, they told me I had to wait 3 days to get because they didn’t have the product to fill it, but that I could call there Camp Hill store to see if they have it. I about popped a gasket at that point. If they can’t fill a prescription they should have to check and see who can fill it locally. Send it to CVS. Don’t send me to Camp Hill!

Pharmacy is a joke. Multiple issues with orders. As an example, script is called in. It was written to help staying motionless during radiation. Wait a day. Go to pick up before radiation treatment through drive thru. Comes to window and says it not filled because the pharmacist had questions. It will take at least 30 minutes to fill when radiation is in 20 minutes. Had to go back. Have to go back frequently. I know it is a 21st century invention but we have a thing now called a phone.

Dr called in prescription Fri about 4pm and wanted my wife on it asap. Called that night and was told it would be ready in the morning. Went in about 9:30 Sat morning, was told it would be ready in an hour and a half. Sent friends in to get it about 2pm they were told another 3 hours. I went in at 5:30 was told another 1-1/2 hours. I have to get someone to sit with my wife because she can’t be alone!

So sick of the mismanagement in the pharmacy, today was the 4rth time they gave me wrong medicine, my doctor ordered my insuline in fornt of me last week, she even called them saying its urgent, i got the delivery today and it was wrong one, they charged us before we even checked and when we said that its a wrong order they refused to refund.There's only one girl in the Pharmacy who is actually helpful and thankfully she sorted it out (forgot to ask her name). We r new in the state and this rite aid is the closest pharmacy we have but not very happy with the service.

Just spent $200 in store today the manager was so rude to me. I didn't realize the Pokemon cards my son seen coming in were still in cart because we got other toys instead. So after paying I still owed $4.75. I tried to figure out why I owed this instead of helping the manager was rude and belittling. I ran home in car grabbed a $5 and gave it to the cashier all in 10 min. This store is always empty. The 2 shoppers only bought one item. I spent way more and kept trying to apologize and help. The manager just kept being so awful. I had my 10 yr old with and I'm not sure how a job at Rite Aid gives her a right to act like she's the owner of a posh place. Also, before this happened she had a conversation with us about my son's shirt with his school logo. She changed personality in seconds.

Have been here four times over the course of three weeks to get my medicine. Wrong every single time. Even though I was coming back about the same exact order. Finally enough time passed the doctor actually just renewed it. Went back with some hope, don't know why. Won't make this mistake a sixth time. This is ridiculous. People rely on this stuff.

Ever since this location took on all of the prescriptions from a local independent pharmacy several months ago, it is frequently impossible to get them to answer the phone. Today I called for 15-20 solid minutes, even twice speaking to the front of the store and asking them to walk back to the pharmacy and ask them to answer the phone, but no one answered.I have called corporate customer service three times in the past several months about this same issue. Twice I was told a manager would call me back, but no one ever did, which shows their level of commitment to customer service.I am done with Rite Aid, after 30 years of being a loyal customer. I will drive out of my way, before I will ever set foot in a Rite Aid store again.

You call and never get an answer! I've been on the phone for well over an hour trying to be transferred to the pharmacy and have yet to get through. Everytime I go in there it takes 15-20 minutes to even be acknowledged. I understand staffing issues, but this is really bad. I'm just really disappointed after switching from CVS to here. I thought it would be better.

Called multiple times, no answer. Then shut the phone off so it would go to voicemail. Had scripts sent from the ER for my daughter, after two days they still was not filled. Save yourself the headache and go to CVS. Because from how Riteaid associates act, they don’t need your money anyways!

The worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. We were at another local pharmacy that closed and our prescriptions were automatically sent to Rite Aid. The prescriptions take DAYS to fill. I always have to call to even get them to start the prescription, then I'm told it will be ready in 30 minutes which turns into an hour of standing and waiting. Even when the prescriptions are ready, the service is extremely slow. They have a drive-thru window, but you can sit in that line for a very long time. I'm not sure why checkout is so slow. I did talk to the pharmacist and was told that they are short-staffed and overwhelmed with new prescriptions. We are transferring to another pharmacy.

Well about 8 months ago I wrote a stellar review. Well the last 8 months it's been a steady decline all the way to the bottom. Today I had enough waited 45 minutes for a prescription that was already supposed to be finished. The sole pharmacist did nothing but give out vaccinations so people were waiting all over for their prescription until she could count the pills. Instead of doing some shots and some counting to keep things moving. I was eventually called up and was told it was just about ready 5 minutes later was told to sit down again. Finally what seemed like the last people for vaccinations were done and maybe the rest of us could be helped nope more came in that was it for me. One poor woman who was there before me and said she went through the drive through and was told to come back later and sat inside for at least the 40 minutes I was there. She started crying she could not control it I shudder to think of what she must of been going through. If they at least took care of her I would have hung in a bit longer. When I left the drive through was backed up into the streets. I know this must be a trying time for drug stores but the pandemic has been going on for years now and I haven't seen anything this disorganized in my life. Doubt I will be back after I pick up what I need. Time to move on.

I work for Doordash and stopped in the store to pick 4 items to fill a delivery. 2 of the items were "feminine hygiene products", and being a male I was unfamiliar with them. I went to the cashier for help and she "polnted" to the area where the items were stocked. I found three of the items and went back to the clerk for help, She gave me the "leave me alone shrug" and at that point, I asked to see a manager. An older woman came out of the office and I told her the situation. She replied, " We aren't allowed to do your job". I then told her that I am cancelling the order. I can not remember the last time I had such a bad experience as a customer. T

Tried to call to confirm my appt for my booster shot. On the phone for over an hour just to get disconnected. So I drive down 10 miles to see the drive through pharmacy had 8 cars lined up out into the highway, waiting for service. So I went inside and there were 16 people waiting ahead of me at the pharmacy line. After waiting an hour I had to leave. Does not even warrant a one star grade ! Would NOT recommend this location !!!!

Call the pharmacy number and put into an electronic menu for you so like 3 to talk to somebody in the pharmacy. I press 3 phone rings about 15 times then goes back to the menu. I proceeded to press 3 10 more times and each time it rang about 15 times and kept kicking me back. I ended up going in in person and there was not one customer there except one person in the Drive-Thru and a pharmacist with two staff. Seems they simply refuse to answer the phone I'm not sure how you can run a business that way. I'm tired of everybody using covid as an excuse for poor customer service this place is far from busy.

After waiting in the drive thru pickup for 30 minutes I decided to go inside to get my prescription thinking it would be less of a wait. I go in, stand patiently in line and once it’s my turn I go and tell the cashier/pharmacist my name & DOB. She goes and gets my prescription and tells me the amount. I don’t have the best insurance so I ask her if she could tell me the price it would be using GoodRx because usually I use GoodRx because it’s cheaper. She tells me “I don’t know about that” and I asked again if she could check, she says “We don’t look up the GoodRx price we make the customers look it up and show us it” and I tell her that after years of going to rite aid I’ve NEVER had to “look up” the goodrx price of my prescription. I wasn’t about to go back and forth with this woman so I told her that I’ll just pay the amount. I paid, got my prescription and told her I didn’t need my receipt. She yells “HERES YOUR RECEIPT HAVE A GOOD DAY” I’m sure the entire store could hear her. She was much more pleasant with the man in front of me probably because he wasn’t of color. I should’ve got her name but whatever! Just thought I’d share

Prescriptions take forever to get filled. Pickup line is always terrible, takes forever. Only one lane available for pick up even though they have 2 bays, not marked 2 is for drop off only. Dr called in a prescription and 3 days later when I went to pick up I was told it wasn’t covered under insurance. When calling the pharmacy IF anyone answers the phone it takes up to 10-15 minutes. Missing the Middletown pharmacy terribly.

Usually the staff are kind and professional, but it's almost impossible to get to talk to someone in the pharmacy when I call.Maybe their pharmacy phone doesn't work well or they need more employees?

Severaltimes I have been shorted medication. Not what it's supposed to be in the bottle. Yet they charge me a fortune for incomplete refills. When you bring it to their attention. They call you a lier. Even when you count it in front of them. Don't go here. They have lost my business.

The pharmacist lady at the rite aid in Middletown pa has the worse disposition I have ever seen. Yelling and being rude isnt the one thing for her. And as the staff back there the samething how could the one girl be so nice to the other customers but when it was my turn she threw the stuff at me. I will never go there again.

The pharmacy staff here is great. They are very friendly and go out of the way to help. I've been using rite aid for years and In my opinion they are the best pharmacy with the most knowledge staff around.
