Tried to purchase ground beef, but couldn't, not sure why. Employees were very helpful, the environment was fantastic and welcoming, just upset about the beef. Like c'mon, where's the beef?? Five stars.

um it seems every single time i stop here to pick up a few things, most of the geriatric cashiers ESPECIALLY cashier # 0151 (don’t know her name and don’t care to other than the “cunty cashier”) are all entirely rude and seem somewhat entitled. For instance, i’m in line getting a few items for tonight’s dinner, CC is cutting up and chit chatting with dude in line in front of me, and then when it’s my turn, barely even acknowledges that i’m there, even AFTER I made initial conversation. Then proceeded to huff and puff when my apple pay wasn’t working, which was irritating enough but no biggie i can still pay with another card…. her overall tone and attitude change from last guy (who i suppose she knew very well) to me was absolutely disgusting and im embarrassed for her and this establishment. I work in retail and let me tell you, if i or any of my coworkers acted this way, we’d receive an immediate write up. So i guess my question is, what is the reason that half of the employees here have no manners or sense of customer service whatsoever?? is it because im NOT a local, or maybe a young woman that doesn’t fit the little house on the prairie vibe, or what?? This place is absolutely AWFUL.

Don't order anything from the bakery. It has happened to me twice now. I ordered a birthday cake and the day of they forgot to make it. Then I ordered birthday cupcakes and they again forgot to make them. Never ordering from here.

Came from Arizona and this store is incredibly clean in comparison. Produce is fantastic, much better than Giant or Weiss. Not much of an Organic produce selection. Well stocked shelves. Easy parking. Wheelchair access. Kiosk for signing up for a loyalty card/ signing in for your coupons and deals. I think that a fabulous idea as I've had an incredibly difficult time accessing coupons and deals while in Weiss and Giant on their respective app. Even Customer service couldn't help there. Kudos to this store.

I live about 6 minutes from this location. I make it a point to try and avoid this location as much as possible. The produce appears clean and well stocked but if you look closely, you will find mold throughout 85% of their fruits and vegetables. The deli counter associates are very rude and unprofessional. They have two - three people cutting meats and handling food with no hair nets or gloves….. I’m sure the gloves are there but they choose not to wear them. We also purchased a $34 can of crab meat to get home and find that it was expired!!! Food lion, you should definitely ask your employees why they are unable to find mold that is very clearly visible. Instead of throwing it away they just turn it around to the “good” side….

I pass Food Lion twice a day and it's a great, convenient store for me to swing in and pick up the things I need. Staff is always friendly, and so are the fellow customers 😜

Very nice store with a different selection of healthy foods.We just moved to mercersburg and everyone is so friendly in the store and it's a very clean storeUpdate: due to a temporary physical issue I do a ton of online ordering.The crew look for my orders in the am 🤣.Tess has been amazing helping me, shopping and really cares about the orders.In fact my guy crew does too.Tess leaves me personal notes with happy thoughts on my orders.I may not always smile when I pick up orders but I appreciate you.Andy is a wonderful store manager..Thank you for remembering my name, calling me by name and making me feel importantSherry

I love this store! Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. I shop here at least once a week and the store is always clean and there's always a good ratio of customers to open registers so you don't have to wait too long in the checkout line. The rotisserie chicken is really good, and whoever bakes and decorates the cakes and cupcakes is really talented. I love that they carry many kinds of my favorite brand of ice cream and popsicles.

My experiences with Food Lion in Mercersburg PA. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They are doing the best they can to keep the things in stock that I and my family like. Their fresh meats are always fresh and plentiful. I am very picky about where I buy my meats and I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their fresh meat. The staff has gone out of their way many times to answer my questions and help me find things. Although they don't have a very large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, they have most of the fruits and vegetables that I want and they are always fresh. The deli staff are quick and friendly. The store is always clean. The Mercersburg Food Lion really cares about their customers.

This is the best local food lion. The store is always very clean and organized. It's well lit and plenty of room to shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. They also don't mind if you walk in five minutes before they close, they still greet flu with a smile.

This is a very small supermarket. However, it is conveniently located right outside the small town of Mercersburg, Pa.It offers much of the same foods that the larger supermarkets offer but on a much smaller scale. It has a small deli and produce section. However, im not a big fan of the deli meats brand that they offer. They don't carry the major deli brands like Boars Head, Black Bear or Dietz and Watson. Unfortunately, it does not offer a fresh seafood or fresh bakery section.Prices are reasonable and the store appears to be well staffed. For the basics and a quick run for the essentials, it is great to have it in town. However, there are better choices for larger grocery shopping.

I shop here weekly. The employees are generally nice. Nice clean updated store. Shelves are always stocked. Just make sure you check the dates on anything you buy here. Pay very close attention to the fresh meats. Sometimes the date is good but the meat is discolored.

Not many Food Lion's still around in the greater Franklin County area. A throwback blast from the past grocery store. For any iced coffee lover, the International Delight dunker oreo will change your life. It's that good. I was told that they just started carrying this product. Worth the trip. The store offers great deals on the ever increasing food prices.

In our area Food lion bought a mom and pop store that cater to the town and had a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Now it's just a store where company policies seem to dictate that the employees be rude and unattendive.

Nice people, but they need to learn how to wear masks. One woman's putting products on the shelf wearing her mask as a chin strap. Another cleaning surfaces with his nose totally uncovered. And they say masks are required to shop there, but unmasked customers waltz through the store unchallenged. It makes me extremely uncomfortable.

We visited Mercersburg for a 2 nights stay at a farm, had to buy a few things, Food Lion is great, looks small but have almost everything that you might need.Very kind and helpful staff too.

This Food Lion has consistently fresh vegetables. The beef, chicken, and pork options are average. Salmon and other fresh fish are bit intermittent/inconsistent in quality, and I now avoid lamb when it's available due to some bad experiences. They carry about 40 kinds of yogurt -- all Greek. There have almost no non-greek options like Noosa, Icelandic, etc. Decent for a local store. Staff are always friendly and the store is always clean.
