I don't know if I have ever been happy in a dollar general store. They must not have high standards for any store. Maybe it's just the district manager or something in my area but geez get it together! This one in particular had shipment EVERYWHERE and I don't mean a box here and there. Its was piled up as tall as the aisles and as long as the aisle in multiple aisles. I went to this store in particular because mine doesn't sell clothes and I heard they were having a sale on summer clothes and shoes. Do you think I was able to look at the clothes? No! 3 employees walked past me while i was trying to squeeze in around the shipment and that just infuriated me. My son volunteered to squeeze back to tell me what was behind the boxes so we could find him and his sister gym shorts. I am so sick of dollar generals in this area. Coupons never match up. I can't tell you how many times I have had to move their coupon. signs to the right place because they are too lazy to do it right or go move it after they deny a customer the discount and the customer tells them about the coupon or how many times I have stood and looked for the digital coupon that is advertised and it doesn't exist or how many times my digital coupons don't even work and they always give me the same nonsense excuse "oh we have been having problems with them lately" but do you think they give me the discount?! No way!

Does not except fedex packages that will not fit on shelves. Very disappointed ☹️

Very friendly cashier. She made me feel very welcome and had a unique genuineness about her. I had a lot of items that I purchased, and she bagged them all appropriately. I will definitely recommend this store to others because of the sweet lady who took care of me that day.

I go to this dollar store all the time, and have never had a bad experience. I rated only 3 stars because they do tend to block a lot of merchandise by putting all their inventory boxes in the way, making it hard to look at some of the items.

The lines are always so long. Or you can stand at a register for at least 5 minutes before someone comes from the back,or one of the aisles..Their digital coupons hardly ever work and we're constantly having to have the cashiers redo our items to get the discounts.

Everyone that works there is absolutely amazing the employees are so kind and they tell you where things are they don’t just tell you they will take you there they are absolutely the most organized store I’ve ever been in and they are the kindest employees when you come out of the store you have a better day because of these employees

This is your usual Dollar General. The store was clean and the clerk was nice enough to bring me a basket when he noticed I underestimated the number of items I was going to purchase. It does have a Redbox kiosk in the front, so that is a plus.

Every time I go in there, there are racks of items to stock the shelves with lined up end to end in front of the items already on the shelves!! You CANNOT shop the items sitting of hanging from these shelves because you can't get to them!!This is EVERY time I go in this store!!

This is a great store. I was surprised to see the big selection. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized.

I was looking at my phone app to download some digital coupons. A gentleman who works there asked if I needed help. I didn't but that's the way the workers are in the Mercersburg store. Great place to shop

I'm grateful Mercersburg has a DG. People need to be more grateful and stop complaining! These employees do the best they can and are hard workers! Thank you girls and Mike for all you do!

The staff are generally helpful and friendly... but people often out front smoking cigarettes, which isn't the store's fault but it makes it unpleasant to enter and exit the store

Robert Miller district manager is part of the problem at this location... said him and Kendra have been a thing for 10yrs and she would never do anything like that.... but she "worked her way to her position "
