The store was great but the clinic front desk wasn’t. The receptionist seems to not be too experienced in the field of employments. She’s too fast and not paying attention to what’s has been delegated to her.Overall, visit with the vet was very pleasant and a nice experience.Front desk need more support

I have been here a few times for my kitten and never had an issue, but today was a nightmare! I had an appointment at 9:30 am I got there a few minutes early and they sat us in an exam room. That was the last time anyone spoke to me. I spent an hour waiting to be seen while a completely unhinged woman in the waiting room was yelling at her credit card company for the full hour. People walked by my room so many times and ignored us, but checked in with the customer with the credit card issue multiple times. Finally at 10:30 I had enough and walked out. So unprofessional and inconsiderate!

I adopted a cat and brought him to the clinic to be tested for ringworm before introducing him to my home cat almost two weeks ago. I still haven’t gotten the results back. I was told to keep the two cats separate to avoid my home cat from any spread. I brought them in both to an appointment in separate carriers and kept them away from each other for vaccinations and the vet without having the results back just let both cats out of their carriers allowing them to introduce to each other. They literally had me pay them almost $300 for nothing.

The rating is due to a recent incident that occurred, while I took my pet Brownie for a vet consultation at the Media, PA location. So I took him for his blister check up on his right paw, and he as well as my husband and I were humiliated to the core by the staff members in that division. At first the nurse came in and was rude with Brownie and didn't bother to even pet him, then she kept asking us for his paperwork and continuously asking us about heartworm and rabie vaccination info, whereas all the vaccination were already up to date according to Brownie's last medical consultation late last year. After a couple of minutes of her selling more vaccine info to us like a sales rep, she finally requested me to show her the blister as she was unable to console Brownie in a friendly manner to do so.Once she saw it, she again recommended to take Brownie in double leash away from us to show it to the doctor who was inside. (which made Brownie more anxious and uncomfortable as the doc could have very well come to the room, and I would have shown her the same way I showed it to the nurse). Then after a couple of minutes she and her nurse counterpart came in and started to inquire about Brownie's history of where he was rescued from?, to which as I answered, the nurse weirdly exclaimed that dogs from the south have weird behavioral traits. And by that time they were uncomfortably staring down at Brownie and making him feel anxious to the core. The doctor asked me to give Brownie a couple of sedative drugs and advised me to start sedating him from the night till the next day, and then get him in for a blister check-up.I even requested her to see his blister and I can help her sitting close to him. To which she and her nurse counterpart replied that, the Petco law doesn't allow them to let the owner show the blister, as if the dog ends up biting me then that will not be a Petco's liability.I am seriously very concerned about the approach for this vet clinic, as given my past experience with a private vet I took Brownie in last year, he was absolutely friendly and loved all the staff members who were petting him and making him feel at home especially the doctor. Whereas here my pet was treated as an outsider and made uncomfortable, and we were refused a check-up for no reason as being a pet owner, I am worried that the staff members hired in this location are not experienced enough to make the dog feel safe at the vet, instead they are recommending the sedative approach, which a vet shouldn't be going for unless the dog is undergoing a surgery or has gone rabid or infected.

EDIT: THEY CONTAININATED THE SAMPLES AND DID NOT INFORM ME. THEY CHOSE TO REMAIN SILENT ABOUT BAD PRACTICES AND ALLOWED MY DOG TO BE IN PAIN FOR WEEKS RATHER THEN OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKES.I took my dog here to get her checked for a UTI and to get her antibiotics. I paid quiet a bit of money for the visit along with a urine test. It has been 2 weeks, and despite calls they can not give me her test results or antibiotics. I just moved to the area and I do not have a regular vet to fall back on. Apart from an emergency vet this was my only option. Amazingly her uti didn't magically go away without antibiotics. She has been in pain for all this time all because they couldn't get back to me. If you value your dogs health do not come here.

Had a great experience taking my shih tzu Lola there for a UTI. The tech and vet were both lovely, making sure lola was calm during the exam. I received everything I needed for her treatment and will return for future care.

I was there for my pup to get her renewed vaccinations. The Tech was amazing. She came out to the waiting room and asked me if I had any questions or concerns about my pup at this time, luckily my pup was doing great. She took my pup back, gave her the vaccinations and had her back out to me with in 15 minutes (could have been longer but seemed super quick). By the time I had paid, blood tests were back and my pup was given all healthy across the board. I cannot say enough good things about this place. They are kind, professional and show compassion to each pup that comes in.

The prices are competitive and fair (especially if you sign up for the monthly plan) and the staff is nice but they have a different doctor there every time I go and I wish I could have some continuity of care for my cats. The first two vets I saw were really kind and attentive to my cats, the 3rd one and I guess their latest full-time vet was not very kind or helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. They never tell me which doctor I am going to see and I don't even think they have a permanent doctor for this location. Never knowing what kind of care my cats are going to receive is concerning so I am taking my cats to another vet where I can see the same vet each appointment and have my pet's history better understood and not have to wonder if I am getting a kind vet or not.

I had issues with the previous vet mostly due to poor customer service and no longer being able to afford their services . I was looking for another vet that could see my dog ASAP because she was due her physical and her shots. After reading the reviews we were excited to meet Dr Bersch who was great with my Winnie and what was even better was the affordability of the visit. Thank you VETCO!!!

Not very happy too. I took an appointment asking specifically for Revolution.First, they didn't say (or know) that it was back ordered and offered me another treatment. I realized it was 30% higher, and they charged me 2 of them, saying it was the best at the same price or even lower. Please do your math.$55 for a check-up that the vet couldn't do or in 30/seconds. She just did the vaccines that I was charged additionally.My first experience was good, but today I thought it was a thief.

I was thrilled to find Dr. Toby Erlichman at this practice! She has been our pets' vet for 30 years ... give or take. She gives straight forward information -- and an honest perspective of what is in the best interest of your pet.I was also impressed with the staff -- Ashley did a super job handling Maggie (who was not having a great day). Happy to see another familiar face -- Joy, the practice manager.Looking forward to continued pet care with Dr. Erlichman and staff.

They canceled one of my appointments because I was late for 10 mins and I was fine with that because it was my fault anyway. However, when I came here again to drop off a sample by the time they told me they’re already closed. This time I’m very sure I came within the hours (20 mins earlier than google indicates and 1 hour earlier than they told me). So apparently you need to be exactly on time as a client and they don’t need to as service providers. Such a waste of time.

Worst service ever!They prescribed my cat some medication, when I called and asked to buy more, they said, I need to schedule an appointment for thisWhen I arrived they canceled an appointment because I was late by 5 minutes (stuck in a traffic jam), despite the time being booked on 40 minutes, and refused to sell me medication without an exam.Next week (not the next day, but next week) some Vetco manager call me and asked me to choose the clinicWhich kind of doctors do that? let pets suffer without medication?They can't call themselves doctors anymore

They held my puppies hostage because I didn’t have enough for the emergency service, sorry a dogs life is more important than a quick payment. Lost one puppy and they refused to give half of the required medication until payment is paid in full, after we finally got our puppies after the exam, treatments etc. now they have worms just 2 days after they said it was negative. This place is a joke and the people can’t do their jobs and only care about money, if you love your dogs/ animals I recommend going somewhere else than here

We followed out friend and Dr. Weir to this place where he is practicing Veterinary medicine here. Staff was great and very accommodating. Highly recommend.
