Unprofessional and Poor People Skills! The Pet Vet Clinic is completely unreasonable and lack empathy or customer service. I called up to the vet hospital to confirm I was coming and spoke to the receptionist Terry, who is a complete nightmare on wheels. Upon my arrival, I was the ONLY customer in the waiting room and I believe they were seeing one patient. The receptionist checked me in at 2:06pm as when I arrived for my 2pm appointment, I was lost in the mall trying to find it and had to go back to my car for a leash that is required while inside. I went back into a patient room around 2:20pm. Another patient arrived around 2:30pm and I overheard their arrival and room placement next to mines. I also overheard the receptionist talk to a staff member about order of care stating that “I was first and then the patient next to me was next” however staff still assisted the room next door before us. I stepped outside and asked if they were still going in order as there maybe a mixup and that I’ve been waiting a while. I waited up until 2:55pm to announce that I could no longer wait and the receptionist went back and forth with me about how I was 6minutes late and maybe if I was on time, I would’ve been seen before the other patient. She also stated “it’s their policy” to make patients that are late wait longer and will see other appointments even if I am present in the patient room and another patient has an appointment after mines and is in the waiting room. She never apologized for the wait and checked to see if there was anything that could be done to provide me service as I had been waiting there for almost an hour AND it was my 1st vet visit. I drove 40mins to get here only to be insulted and shown lack of hospitality. The receptionist, Terry was EXTREMELY inconsiderate of my wait time, my patience and berating me over 6 minutes is completely unacceptable and a poor excuse to see another patient who arrived 20-30 minutes after my appointment while my puppy is in the room to be seen and I overhear you mismanaging the order of service. I cannot get my time back and I will not make another appointment to this awful clinic. Literally if you can’t manage 2 pets at a time and your receptionist has poor customer service skills, how do you keep this place going?It’s ashame because this place looks amazing and the actual store had nothing but pleasant workers…however the Vetco… A BIG NO and NEVER AGAIN. I would hope to hear from corporate/store manager.

Store is nice, but things were moved and items could not be located that indicated were in stock. Limited staffing made it impossible for us to look at some pets we were interested in purchasing and little knowledge was known about animals they care and sell. Been in this store several times in which groups of employees were behind counter on phones or too busy talking among themselves to help the customers with questions. Seems like some employee training maybe lacking here. Last trip to this location after 4 failed attempts to look at and purchase a pet, pet food and other various items.

I have been taking my cat to Vetco (veterinary services within Petco facilities) for 3 years, and it is always a great experience!Dr. Herring is caring and very gentle with the handling of my pet. His examination was thorough and informative. I was grateful for the time he gave me for questions and concerns; he showed great compassion and interest in my sweet kitty's health.Taylor, the Hospital Operations Manager, is also a sweet asset to this fine team of caring for animals' professionals. She had put my kitty at ease with her gentle ways; taking his vitals and making him feel safe in this unfamiliar, but clean and efficient, examination room.So, as a whole, their performing professional services, as well as their gentle care, the entire staff treats our pets as if they were their own.Plus, Terry, who runs the front desk, is friendly, accommodating, and very professional and helpful in this very busy office; she's always pleasant.So, it is a great place to put your pet in their care; i think you will be very happy you did!

I like it very much as far as pet food a lot of choices, but vaccines and checkups kinda steep for my pockets considering I have five 🐶🐕🐕🐕🐶, Parrot ,and a cat.🐈 I know it's 6 in the photos but one pass away.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of pet products. Great deals on their cat litter, you bring back your empty cat litter pail and refill it for a discounted rate. Live animals looked great, young ferrets were having fun playing in their habitat. Highly recommend.

I ONLY take my dog here for self wash because these establishments are very few & in-between.However, I have issue with the tubs, they are so low that your back literally hurts from bathing your pet. They need to be elevated.It’s important for staff to clean the tubs with a disinfectant not just the odor remover. So I take my own Lysol or Clorox spray to remove germs & spray down anything that can be touched by others.Thanks for providing aprons, but they are not big enough & don’t prevent you from getting soaking wet.Great store hours & staff.

The associates are almost always friendly and the products are priced great there’s just something to be desired from their fish and aquatic plants. They don’t last long. I’ve had bettas, tetras, barbs, danios, and even cichlids from them and all have died. I really only use Petco for equipment and supplies anymore. Even their live foods like crickets and worms tend to be mostly dead. I love the equipment selection they have and their associates are great but be careful of their fish and plants.

Awesome. Save $$$ and washed my dog for $20 nice place they gave us all the necessities so easy to do saved me hours of work and took 30 minutes. Great place good service!

They have multi varieties of CAT (and dog ) foods, as well pet care/wellness.If your cat been spayed/neutered they carry Royal Canin dry food, also what I like is Royal Canin Appetite Control care.They carry FOOD for the age of your cat ( wet/dry) multi brands.Want to give your cat something special to eat, check out the multi varieties of delicious stews, and assortment of can meals.AGING DOGS & CATS ...they have food specially for them.You can buy birds, fish, pets....toys for your pets, and so much more. You just need to stop in and see for yourself...they have whatever you may need for your pet(s)Numerous supplies of FLEA meds for dogs and cats (Including ORAL).

Their selection of live-prey, if you can even call it that, is all dead, and the dates on them are from weeks prior. Some of the containers even had mold in them. Egregious standards for the store to have since I was just trying to search for some food to feed my spiders and reptiles.

Review on dog bathing facilities. (Photo for comedy)1) Basket with towels, combs given2) All soap dispenser/water/dryer in one easy unit.3) Nice Tubs with decent restraint.4) Friendly staffPretty impressed with the setup for bathing. Only negative was lack of apron, but that is so minor. Everything else was all in. We didn't need to buy additional soap etc. 15 ish dollars per dog in my state of PA.

We previously had very good experiences with the grooming at this location. We were alerted that the groomer had left when we made our latest appointment but figured the quality would remain the same.The appointment took an hour longer than expected and our dog came home acting like she has a very stressful experience.The quality of the cut was also subpar and several areas of her coat were cut way too short.Lastly, the whole store seemed disorganized which is very out of character from our previous visits. It seemed like every staff member was new.

The folks at this Petco are great and helpful. It's clear they are pet people from the way they greet visiting pups and the ACDC rescue cats. Thanks for the weekly crickets.

My bichon poodle mix was shaved so closely that I couldn’t even walk him without him sitting every two seconds he is so traumatized. I will never bring him back to Petco at Granite run again.I looked up why he was doing that and it said he has shaved burns.

Very friendly workers. Helped me with anything I needed. Been trying to find a female hamster for a while now started to think everyone only carried males. Walked in and they have a variety of animals that look well taken care of. I'll definitely go back prices weren't to bad either.

Staff is always super friendly and helpful! Walter is especially knowledgeable and has helped me numerous times with good recommendations for food and toys for my super chewer dog. Store is clean and well organized. There’s a PetSmart closer to me, but I always come to this Petco instead.

Love this Petco they have the coolest fish I've ever seen! Prices are pretty reasonable although the betta fish have really become expensive. And the people could be a little bit nicer there. But all in all really nice clean place with beautiful fish and a bunch of other animals that were cool to see. I only wish that we could interact maybe more with the smaller animals. Like have a day where you could like pet them and stuff.

Very disappointed in my grooming services lately. I came with my dog last week for a walk in nail appointment only to be told they aren’t doing walk ins anymore, well no where does it say that and even on the app it wouldn’t let me schedule because it said it was a walk in. So I scheduled an appointment for a nail trim for today and when I was checking out the girl told me it was $23 and I said why so much? She said well I trimmed her nails and buffed them. I said I didn’t ask you to buff them, I scheduled a nail trim and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to add a tip on the card? Since when does Petco ask for a tip? I’m sorry I don’t agree with that, it makes people feel uncomfortable and obligated. I don’t think I will be back. Just giving others this info for future.

Carrie is amazing in grooming. Has taken care of my big girl with a double coat quite a few times and she always comes back happy, feeling and looking great. Carrie is sweet and mindful of needs and wants and truly does a careful and wonderful job.
