The perfect family vet. I love all of the people in Rose Valley so it was no surprise we had this *Fantastic* experience in the midst of learning the challenges with dogs in this beautiful valley. TICKS. The receptionist pre-visit was perfect and answered all my questions before the visit with our VMD Laura. Laura was easy to understand, informative and caring before and during the visit. Our dog loved the clinic. I recommend the Media Veterinary Hospital and personally want to thank them for the prompt and helpful service we received.

The vet and techs here were super awesome in accommodating my then very anxious and reactive dog who was just rescued last year. They were very patient with him and even have a special quieter side door for reactive dogs to enter to lessen their anxiety. Dr. Atherton was so kind with Oakley and gave him lots of treats that he probably didn’t realize he was at the vet! We chose this vet after having a bad experience with another vet, where they refused to see him even after we muzzle trained him like they recommended. We didn’t even need the muzzle here, and he did excellent! Highly recommend for reactive and anxious dogs!

The staff at the front desk always greet you with a smile and check you in quickly. The technicians are skilled and very friendly. All the Doctors are knowledgable and clearly care about the pets in their care. Dr Bender has been taking care of our pets for over 20 yers. She is amazing. Our new puppy was in for a surgical procedure yesterday and is doing great thanks to the wonderful, compassionate care she got from all the staff at Media Veterinary Hospital. They always do a good job getting us in as soon as possible, if there is an emergency. They’re very smart and descriptive in their diagnosis’s. They provide options whenever possible instead of one way to handle things. They’re very friendly and gentle with my dog while also being professional and thorough. They are also comfortable dealing with difficult dogs, or at least are able to manage that well. They talk through each thing they’re doing so I’m involved of each step and they’re prepared and readily available to answer any of my questions. They also do follow ups to see how my dog is doing. I haven’t used them for boarding but they also provide those services. All around they are my favorite vet (and I’ve tried others that people I trust recommended). My dog likes them too, even being naturally nervous.

Folks here are very nice and welcoming. My dog and I had a great experience. I was given a detailed information about the procedure my dog was undergoing and it was so helpful that the Vet called in the middle of the procedure to seek permission on additional treatment that was going to affect my bill. My pup was seen here for a number of years. He is getting older and slowing down so I had some questions about how to best support him and make sure he is comfy. I did not feel like the Dr who saw him listened to what I had to say or offered any type of suggestions/hope. She was dismissive and felt rushed.I decided to switch vets for a better standard of care. I would HIGHLY recommend either Center City Vet Hospital in Philly or Animal Wellness Center in Chadds Ford. Worth the drive for my dogs! At each of these places the Drs introduced themselves to me, offered a variety of suggestions, and generally were more compassionate.Although not a motivating factor for me, Media Vet is also expensive in comparison.

Mine was a relatively fast process of applying flea treatment to my feline. The staff is very courteous and efficient, as has been the case with every visit to Media Vet. Everything from check-in to check-out is done timely and efficiently. Have taken my feline companions there for almost 30 years, and the same level of service has remained throughout.

Went to Media Veterinary Hospital for the first time this week. Needed to find a new vet in the suburbs and took my dog in for her annual checkup and vaccinations. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, informative and friendly. Will definitely be taking my dog back again.

My extremely nervous dog was given her shots and had her nails trimmed without a tranquilizer {which I neglected to give her.) The vet and vet tech were great with her, and called today to tell me her various tests were all negative. The staff at this animal hospital are all caring and great with my animals past and present.

If you don't want to read, very nice facility and great, knowledgeable vets.Very easy to make an appointment and we got right in on a Saturday for an ear infection we noticed that same morning. Been here 3 times and each time they care for my dog very well and are very nice and patient, answer all our questions, they are super knowledgeable and very nice. Great care, I feel my dog is in good hands there and then there's the price, way more affordable than some other places we've been to.

I have been going to Media Vet, for at least 25yrs. I moved and drive 2hrs to continue to have my dog seen by them. Great staff, great doctors, great service and everything in between. My dog callie is treated like its their own pup. Couldn't ask for a better place for my callie girl.
