This was the first time using the grooming service. I was very pleased with the results on my 19-month old golden retriever. I've had mediocre results elsewhere locally. He's very handsome now (and he knows it!). I plan to continue to use their grooming service.

Great selection of quality foods for both dogs and cats, bowls of all sorts and every kind of treat you could ever ask for. Want to wash your dog? Bam, they've got it. Need a new cat carrier for a trip to the vet? Blammo, they've got that too. Looking to adopt a local cat from a reputable pet adoption group? You guessed it...they've got it!

This was my first time visiting this store and was not sure what to expect. As soon as I walked in, one of the pet experts Vanessa greeted me and asked me if I needed anything. I was looking for something specific and instead of just pointing, she walked me over to what I was looking for and gave the details of all the different products they had in stock and she let me know, she was here to help. I really enjoyed the layout of the store. It did not have the department store feel like Petsmart or Petco. It was open and you could move around freely. The variety was quite impressive. Also, it seemed more upscale, the pricing was not cheap, however, it was definitely fair. There were a lot of new things I have not seen before. I took my time walking around and exploring. I bought a new dog food brand because it was competitively priced and it was also on sale. I asked Vanessa her opinion on one of the meat options and she provided me with an honest opinion, and showed me to the samples that the dog food rep brings in and told me if there was something I wanted in particular she could get it as a sample from the rep. This is one of the most positive experiences I have had while doing pet shopping. I did not feel like I was in grab and go mode. So this will be my new store for my pups. Keep out the good work guys.

Nice store! Looks great, spacious and clean. Very nice quality pet items. I was very disappointed that at the selection of dog leashes. They didn't have even one option in any length other than 6 feet. I was very surprised by this. Better selection in the pet food area than the accessories.

Love the self wash dog area!! Staff is super helpful and friendly. They take the time to ensure you have the right product for your needs. Awesome visit. We will be back!!

Small pet store with lots of pet food And the usual pet supplies. When however, one of the really nice things about it is that they have a place that you can wash your dogs without having to bend over So being older we always takes our dogs over there To Wash them

First time customer and the one worker was very rude and kept giving me attitude when I was calm and not giving any attitude. I called ahead of time and was told they take walk ins for grooming. I show up with my dog and get told i need to make an appointment. Then i decided to just buy clippers for his nails. Got home and they broke on the first nail and didn't even cut his nail! Very disappointed. Pet valu just lost a customer.

Friendly staff, clean location, good in inventory of pet products in both food and bathing products. The self bathing station is easy to use and very clean. Will return for future products and dog bathing needs.

Worst host ever!The only reason I have given two stars is because of their pet bathing facility. The woman who was looking after the store was rude, unfriendly, and looked irritated at our presence. I thought she was the same with everyone, but no! She seemed to be fine with other customers.She gave us just one word answers to our questions and made us wait to pay our bill while she was on a personal call for 15 mins. Never going back to this store.

Top quality grooming service. I enjoy washing my big dogs in the wash area which are cleaned by the staff after every use. Great points program.

Best PetValu in terms of help within the local area (Enola, Mechanicsburg, Lemoyne, & Carlisle). Had the pleasure of meeting Janell (hopefully I didn't mess that up). She greeted me with a friendly smile, inquired about my dog, helped me get set up with a tub to wash him, and gave me tips and pointers as to make it an easier experience for us both. Not only did she periodically check to see how we were doing, she also helped set us up with a nicer dryer which took a lot less time to blow out my dogs coat.Thank you again Janell for restoring my faith in PetValu!! Will be back to the Mechanicsburg location specifically based on her help and friendliness.

Great dog washing facility. Fee includes shampoo, conditioner, towels, fur dryer . Very clean and helpful. Free dog biscuits too.

Best pet store in the area. Plenty of healthy pet food selections, cats to adopt, toys, etc. Smaller than Petco and PetSmart, but they more than make up for it with great use of space and plenty of items to choose from.

I called and the lady who answered put me on hold but never got back on the phone. It happened on july 25th at 6pm. I called to ask a question about the pet shots. I dont appreciate being placed on hold for ten minutes so i hung up and called back and i keep getting the voicemail. She needs to learn customer service or she should not be in retail.
