I just had a dishwasher install finished and I'm more than happy with both the product and the install process. The gentleman who came to install my unit was on time, efficient and gave me a step by step on how the dishwasher worked. He graciously answered all of my questions and didn't seem too busy to explain how it all worked. He even took the time to review how to clean out the filter with me. There was no mess left behind at all. Communication before install was great and scheduling was easy.

My husband and I have been in this business and also called and they are by far the rudest people I have ever met. Due to their rudeness I actually drove several hours away to buy a professional Wolf double oven and a Wolf 48" gas cooktop. That's business lost due to attitude.

It took a month for them to fix my water/ice maker. It was a week to wait for my first appointment and then he didn't have the tubing for the water line which was broken. The most basic part and it's not carried on the truck! It took another week for the parts and then another for the next appointment, but they never set it up. It was in the 4th week that FINALLY the technician came to fix the fridge. I had 5o keep calling for an appointment, which I should not have had to do and was then at the back of the line for my service to be completed. Totally unacceptable service attention to customers.!

Brian did a fantastic job fixing our microwave oven. He was professional and nice. I was not very happy about having to do a service call after buying it here only three years ago, but I was glad that he was able to fix it quickly.The installers were good as well and installed a dishwasher and this microwave oven a few years ago.

It's amazing to me that this business has such a high average rating, although it appears that their ratings over the past year have slipped significantly. We decided to order all of the appliances for our new home through LH Brubaker. It took over one year for everything to finally arrive - and while LH may not have control over the supply chain, they certainly have control over how proactive they are with following up with the manufacturer. Instead, I had to handle everything - I had to constantly follow up with them and track where our orders were. Some of our appliances sat in LH's warehouse for weeks before they even bothered telling us they had arrived - and this after MONTHS of living without kitchen appliances!The only positive thing I can say about the customer service is that everyone we interacted with was friendly. But friendly doesn't compensate for lack of competency or lack of transparency. LH's reps were very "hands-off." If you didn't do something yourself or constantly stay on top of them, it wasn't going to happen. Fridge and freezer require extra components to function? You'd better know that yourself! Your appliances finally appear in their warehouse? You'd better call every week to check if they're there, otherwise nobody will bother to tell you they've arrived and set up installation. They ordered you the wrong item? You'd better catch it yourself! I could go on.Last, but not least, the installation experience gets a big 0 stars from me. Some of our appliances required 5+ trips and re-installations before they were installed correctly. Installers forgot parts, ordered the wrong parts, or just straight up installed appliances incorrectly (off centered, crooked, doors not shutting properly, etc.).Only giving two stars since, again, everyone was friendly. But at the end of the day, transparency, competency, and quality are so much more important when you are spending tens of thousands of dollars.

We purchased a new stove and microwave. However, no one from the store was willing to come to our home and confirm measurements. The result after waiting for 8 months was that the microwave did not fit the space available. Fortunately, we received a credit for the microwave, but they lost the sale and we lost lots of time finding a replacement unit. This is supposed to be the No 1 appliance store in the area? No real personal attention.

Purchasing our dryer at the store was a fantastic experience. The sales person listened to our needs, did not try to up-sell us and found us a great deal. The installation was perfect. They arrived early explained the process and got the job done. They were very friendly and hard working. The made small adjustments to the location of the dryer after they were done at my request. I strongly recommend the company and installers.

Chris and Rich arrived a bit late but explained that had come from quite a distance the previous stop. Chris did the install and did a fine job. They were very careful in taking the old dishwasher out and bringing in the new Bosch. The install steps were pretty precise and Chris was happy to describe things as he went along. When it was done, he took all the time my wife needed to fully understand the new machines and what cycles and products worked best. Very courteous and 'good guys' and within about 90 minutes, they were one their way and the Series 800 was tested and ready to go to work. We are very pleased.

We had just settled on our home and had purchased a refrigerator, washer, and dryer from LH Brubaker. Despite having set backs at prior appointments earlier in the day that caused a delay in our appliance installation, Marc and Jeff were very kind and apologetic. Both gentlemen took great care in delivering our appliances ensuring they did not damage our hardwood floors or our walls and door frames. They spent several hours at our home (past their typical working hours even!) to make sure that our appliances were installed correctly and that we were satisfied with their placement and delivery. Marc even took the time to explain how to properly use each appliance and go through any setup information. Jeff kindly tried to figure out the best solution for us with our washer and dryer unit since it was a tight fit due to an older home. We were very happy with our experience and will absolutely request both of them for any future needs for our home. These two deserve recognition for their hard work, service, and devotion to the customers of LH Brubaker!

Glen and Chris installed our range and hood. They did a great job! The took care to make sure they didn't scratch our hardwood floors. They were very friendly and nice. They took the time to explain things to us about the install. I'd buy from LH Brubaker again for sure!

Most of our appliances are from L.H. Brubaker, my wife and I like working with them being they are local. Recently we purchased a dishwasher and the fit was super tight. Don H who has a lot of experience as an installer did warn us and gave us the option of ordering another model. He also said he could try and if it didn't fit we would have an empty space until a smaller dishwasher could be delivered. Well thanks to Don's experience of installing for many years he was able to install our new dishwasher! We've been without one since late March (1st world problems I know) and are very appreciative to L.H. Brubaker for having wonderful people at that store and their installation people like Don H.!

If you want an honest answer to your questions and no pressure sales, please visit LH Brubakers. They are a local store that also handles the installation and service of what they sell. No third party to deal with or someone from across the state or even further away. Prices are right on pare with the big box stores so there is no buyers remorse. Their online store prices match the store prices, so there is no bait and switch. I would recommend them for all your appliance purchases.Update 12-26-2019 Our appliance was delivered today. We were provided an email with a 2 hour delivery window. Along with that, we had photos and names of the two delivery guys. A nice touch. Delivery was made within the time provided and was quick and courteous. Great guys and company. Highly recommended.

Marc and Josh did a wonderful job of replacing my microwave with a new one. They worked quietly, efficiently and quickly. I could hear Marc explaining to Josh the procedure and what to watch out for. Both of them worked very well and when they were finished, they left a very clean area. I really appreciated the work they did. I love my new microwave. Thank you both.

I wish I can give lower star rating than 1. The guy comes out and tell us nothing needs to be done as far as door, replaces one of the damaged clips in convection oven. He charges $120 for just to come in, we agree with cost of replacing the clips , extra $16 on $120. But , $120 to just come in for visit? This is taking advantage of the times and customers for their pure benefit. On top of that guy is laughing over phone to his service coordinator about how much time he had to spent, apparently less than 1 min. At least be professional and don't laugh over the job that gets the bread on the table. Be careful before you use them.

Recently had to replace a dishwasher. Thanks to Brubaker’s online presence, and a little extra online research, we were able to select a model, order/purchase over the phone and arrange installation of new/removal of old, which happened in a timely manner. From Josh (sales) to Tony (installer), everyone was polite, helpful and did a great job. We are very happy with our experience.

had to wait 3 weeks for them to come out (no big deal) have to pay $128 just for them to show up (no big deal). When they showed up they had zero solutions for the dishwater that leaks at the end of the cycle. Said he thinks it could be this or that but had no confidence in what it is. Eventually found a part that he wanted us to preorder and prepay installation for even though he told us it was probably not going to fix the issue. That was the end of their service, zero follow up. The dishwasher is 1 year old.As a professional the solutions, diagnostic and accommodations was a 0 out of 10.

The entire crew (both crews - Steve and Tony and Chris and Glen) was excellent. Everyone very friendly and worked well together to make the installation seamless. Chris gave me time to reposition and add stops so the unit would fit even better than first determined. I would recommend every one of them for any job, big or small, especially big. This is a massive unit and they pulled of installation without a hitch.

The technicians arrived on time and ready to work. They removed and installed the refrigerators very carefully and quickly, giving us instruction on the new model as they installed it. Our delivery of our new Bosch dishwasher was scheduled for drop off only, no installation. Dwight took the time to review my replacement installation needs and gave me extremely helpful information for my self-install. Without his suggestions, my project would have been much more difficult. Everyone from the sales staff to the delivery folks were great to deal with. I highly recommend L. H. Brubaker to anyone in need of appliances.

We purchased our new Sub Zero from Roger at LHB. Chris installed it today. Chris took care to install it carefully and precisely. He was very meticulous about wanting to get it as perfect as possible. He answered my questions and was very knowledgeable. He assured me that I should call with any questions or issues. The finished product is gorgeous and blends in with my existing cabinetry seamlessly. Integrated refrigeration is amazing!

This company is so unorganized they tried to get us to deliver the same refrigerator 5 times while I worked there. They would send 2 guys from Mechanicsburg to Shamokin Dam with half of a customer's washer and dryer set to install just one piece. Then send 2 guys up again later with the other piece. How is that profitable? They would send up to a house that wasn't even built yet to install or deliver appliances. I don't understand how this company is still in business.

Russell and Glen installed my new Samsung refrigerator this week. I was delighted to see it was Russell coming to do the installation, since he had installed a dishwasher for me last year. Russell is amazing - competent, professional, and so very personable. He is happy to explain things thoroughly, and is patient in answering questions. In listening to him and Glen work while they were here, I was also impressed by the excellent teamwork they did. We are long time customers of Brubakers but I feel I need to make people aware that the sales people and installers placed us in danger.We bought a house with a small range and a microwave mounted above. We decided to purchase a new 36” range which was installed right under the microwave cabinet which is 16” above the stove. A number of years went by (thank goodness) until we needed a new microwave. After a short time the door latch melted! We decided to replace the cabinets and move the microwave higher. Our contractor suggested we call LH Brubakers with the model numbers of stove and microwave. She was worried about mounting a microwave over a 36” stove. So I called and the salesperson then tells me that it wouldn’t draft enough so we would need a hood. All this time, we were living with a definite fire hazard and repair people and installers never said a word about it. I would like Brubakers to ask when someone is purchasing a stove how it is vented. We now have to trash an almost perfect microwave and purchase a hood!

From sale to install these folks were the utmost pros but also super friendly and helpful. We chose a very low end dishwasher but they made me feel like I had purchased something much more expensive and never made me feel pressured to upgrade. Install was not easy due to uneven floors but they handled it and got the unit in nicely. We will be buying all future appliances here.
